Well today both Poland and Germany scored a lot but they did not play against great teams but for Lewandoswki every goal counts.

Personal, I was happy that Romania won and we still have our tiny chance to catch 2nd spot for play offs spots but it will be hard.

Romania has a tough match against Germany also a decisive match against Armenia if Romania is able to get points from any of these match then sure Romania can take 2nd place main competitor is Armenia so chances are still 50:50

Jesse Lingard was actually on Manchester United's selling list and there was almost an agreement between Man United and West Ham for the transfer of Lingard but Lingard prefers to stay at Man United. His performance against Andora was indeed very good, and maybe Solskjaer will pay more attention to him or give Lingard a chance to play as a starter.

Overall, England played very impressively. From the start of the match, England had been pressing Andorra so they can dominate the game with 83% ball possession and won the game easily with a score of 4-0.

If Portugal somehow misses the boat to Doha in 2022, then a lot of people will be disappointed. As you have correctly pointed out, it may be the last world cup appearance for Cristiano Ronaldo. He's already 36 years old and I don't think that he will continue playing until 2026.

Very different England team that could only score 1 goal max each game in the last tournament group stage, so I'm sure a lot of English fans are getting excited (they are 3rd favorite by the way to win WC).

So happy for Jesse Lingard too. Great player and talent but he kept drowning among superstars at Manchester United. Ronaldo might drown him even further though;)

Poor Armenia (6-0) and San Marino (7-1) were just demolished by Germany and Poland yesterday. But the results were really obvious before they started. Belgium destroyed Czech Republic by 3-0 and they really dominated the game. Lukaku got 1 goal and 1 assist. And in the Switzerland - Italy game, Italy dominated the first half but couldn't score a goal. And in the second half, there was a more balanced game. But none of the teams were able to score at the end. I would expect Italy to win this time.

What's your take, was it right to interrupt the match or should they have waited after the match before taking the stars away. Tomorrow, the match of the day is going to be Netherlands vs Turkey, in my opinion. Turkey are leading their group with 11 points and Netherlands are at the second place with 10 points. Turkey defeated Gibraltar 3-0 in their last match and they would have even scored 5+ goals. But they let Gibraltar have few critical goal chances also. On the other hand, Netherlands demolished Montenegro 4-0 and they have boosted their morale a lot also. Turkey haven't defeated Netherlands in this stadium in history. And it is doubtful that they can win this match also. I'm favouring Netherlands in this match but it will still be a tough match surely.

Sometimes it work, and sometimes it doesn't. Spain and Italy on the other hand are teams with perfect coordination between the players. The same can be said about Belgium as well. Lukaku may be the best player in Europe, but it is of no use when he fails to pass the ball. Even in the Euro Cup, he wasted some good chances because he wouldn't pass the ball.

This was what made Italy champions in the last tournament I do agree, team bonding is so important. And the same as you said with Spain during their era of perfection. But I would say also it's not the only thing, not also the most crucial. If you have full professionals and a gameplan that works, and a team understanding, you could even be enemies with all 11 of the players on the pitch and win like a machine. Pass or not pass, not because you are friends, but because that is the game plan.

Yes, World Cup 2022, it should really be the last world championship that Ronaldo will participate in. But I think he should still participate in the 2024 European Championships.

We still don't know it yet. And I don't think that Ronaldo has decided when to end his national team career. I expect him to play football until the age of 40 at least. If he doesn't retire from the national team before, then we can see him in the next European Championship also. And Ronaldo is still very strong and energetic. He is still very determined.
