It's not the end though for Crawford, there are a lot of good welterweights out there that he can fight barring boxing politics and manager's feud.

Pacquiao is really different that's why most boxers would like to fight him, Crawford as a boxer than in order for him to make good money, he need to fight a popular boxer and that is none other than Manny Pacquioa. If he will not fight Manny then he should fight Spence, that if both parties will agree.

If I were him, I'll choose Pacquiao than Spence or any other boxer that are available to box.

Refusing to fight Pacquiao is like rejecting a huge opportunity that's rare to come to his lifetime and boxing career.

It's not a question on whether Manny can pull the trigger, definitely he can still fight the best out there.

It's the question on when is this fight going to happen, so maybe this is the contention, besides the money that why we haven't heard any news yet. And that's why for sure Crawford might be thinking of plan B if this fight is not going to push this year. All these allegations were levelled against him even during the 2019 fight (against Thurman), but then we all know how it turned out in the end. Concerns about his age were raised back then as well. Also, there are accusations that he is concentrating on boxing too much, when he needs to spend his time as the senator. Personally I feel that he should have waited till his retirement to jump in to the political field. Now it has become difficult for him to manage both.

There was already an update, they'll fight in June 5, I think that's enough for an update and we just have to wait for the follow up update. At least there's an improvement, unlike before that we are just waiting for the date and venue, now we have the date already.

The June 5 schedule is perfect for Manny Pacquiao, next year is Philippines election he needs to fight this year and t should be a fight that will earn him millions of dollars so he can have something to spend in the election, and the Crawford fight is the one fight that can bring this, Garcia is also a good option but people will be looking for a mega fight of what could be Pacquiao's last fight, I prefer a fight with Crawford than Garcia.

The only hurdle is the location and during a pandemic when everyday things changes it is hard to tell exactly when the fight would happen, even we are waiting for the Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury date as well as they find it difficult to put the match together like they wanted with audience and these fights are made to make money through live gates as well and they might wait for a time when everything is back to a certain level of certainty.

Manny Pacquiao does not need additional popularity and even if he retired a few years ago he will be considered as one of the greatest boxers in the history of boxing and yet he continued to fight to raise money as he is helping with his charity works and that needs big amounts of money and i have seen him saying in some interviews that he is fighting to raise the money and not for his legacy because his legacy is already cemented.
