Somebody  try PM detector on their coins? Like Sigma Metalytics?

I own a pk silver Titan  coin so i do not really care if it is silver.
But gold coin bought from an individual with such a terrible feedback, mmmm i would be cautious and test it.

    I bought two gold coins from Tim when he came here a few years back and was selling some gold coins.

    All coins were sold without any holograms. I sent them both to MinerJones to confirm they were pure gold.

   Both came as gold with no issues. Gotta say I love his coin designs...especially the gold ones.

   Too bad this shit is happening.

I bought a 1BTC 2013 from Titan Mint. I peeled it when Tim replied to me, with bullshit regarding the forks.

Im looking at the coin as i type. Would this even sell at auction?

   Start your price at what you think you would want to sell the coin at. Post pictures of the coin front and back by using IMGUR.com

    Make sure to also post a pic with proof of ownership by placing your username and date on paper next to the coin.

I hate to say this because Tim Fillmore is a scumbag fuck, but that’s a beautiful coin (though Tim didn’t design it).

First off, crack and peel asap. Leave hologram intact as best as possible. It would likely be worth grading to increase premium. ICG would be your go to and if you want to spend the extra time and money PCGS might be willing to grade it after ICG (if you’re not familiar PCGS is the standard for coin grading globally, so it would be worth more in it’s slab than ICG..by how much, who knows). Hell maybe they’d grade it without ICG doing so first. It’s a murky area right now w PCGS.

I’d say it’s probably worth $500-1000 above spot value. It’s impossible to say though. Maybe just post a “WTS” thread and ask for offers and see what you get or run an auction and make the minimum first bid the lowest amount you’d be willing to sell it for.

Lastly, happy 4/20 back at ya

That was the case for graded stuff because Anonymousminer was verifying them for ICG. That job has now been taken over by MinerJones ..as you know there’s not many people on the planet who can accurately identify these crypto coins as real or fake. Thanks to China who makes everything dirt cheap,  people have been able to cheaply nearly perfect Casascius holograms, and I’d not be shocked to see them do others. PCGS wanting to keep their good reputation decided this would be the best course of action for them to get in to the space. Now this might have changed a little as I said it’s murky..minerjones and Charlie Lee would probably be the two who know best as to what the current deal is. I’ll ask one of them and report back. (Perhaps someone else can chime in w knowledge).

   So this coin has not been peeled and swept yet? I agree with Chi!  Sweep right away to make sure you get your BTC.

   The coin looks in great shape as well. I bought one just like this but not with the keys and the hologram when they

   were sold a few years back. I love the designs and all especially the Greek soldiers ones.

@everyone - I’m not sure I’ve even asked this or have seen anyone state it..but has anyone personally ever been able to redeem a Titan 2FA or know someone who has?

I was bored and looking around for new coins and came across some Reddit threads I apparently missed ..it would seem the 2FA Coins have had issues since day 1.

Back in 2020 Tim proposed the idea how re-making old peeled coins. It was of course not well received (Anon going GOML on him and justifiably so as Tim was trying to make new sales despite everyone telling him this was a piss poor bs idea) BUT, you’ll see LesbianCow calling him out for non-responsiveness due to 2FA issues..shocker, Tim never addressed it, at least not publicly.

I already know Tim was planning a scam from early on, if not day 1. This is interesting..so he was charging $140 extra for PK coins , versus 2FA.  There is no logical explanation for this. If anything it makes FAR more sense to charge more for 2FA, as it’s extra work for him, his website, his vault rental at the bank he said he stored the private keys at etc. Looks clear to me this was in aim to push people towards 2FA..and we all now know why.

What I find surprising is the fact that with the number of people some of these coin makers have stolen from nobody has found them and just beaten the crap out of them.
I don't think violence would solve anything, and I don't think any violence should be done to these people. I am just talking about the number of people involved in the amount of money involved it's just a testament to the fact that either:

1)We as a group are calmer then most
or
2) as a group we are incredibly lazy

I'm not just talking Titan and yogg but over the years everybody who has ripped off everybody, nobody or at least nobody has reported, any physical violence done to these people.

As a group humans are not usually prone to being rational; and there is always that person that says screw it they'll never able to figure out who did it and take a bat to the perpetrators...

I implore people to stop thinking they just simply cut their losses and move on. By not taking action you’re teaching the scammers who watch these threads, and we all know there’s always scammers creeping in the background trying to plan their next scam. Not one physical coin maker who’s rug pulled has been brought to justice. If we continue to do nothing, and people continue to buy funded items, this is 100% going to happen again and again. I’d say it’s likely at least one of the current coin makers will rug pull.

Fully agree with your statement, ChiBitCTy. Luckily I never owned any 2fa Titans. However I do understand that if you are only slightly affected (let's say by losing one 0.1 2fa value) and you have a busy life with family and work etc eating most of your time already, you think twice before entering probably expensive and very time consuming legal action. That said, given the value of some of these coins and also the fact that some folks bought a bunch of them, it really makes you wonder.
Just bringing one of these scums to justice would defintely set a nice precedent for any physical maker out there.

Eh...I've found it to be rather difficult. I know quite a few and have yet to find a lawyer that wants to take something like this on...it's a lot of work with very little chance for it to actually pay off. From what multiple (lawyers) have told me...the only reason anyone would want to take this would be for the potential publicity it could bring...that being said, I haven't given up, I'm kind of biding my time on a few other ideas seeing if they might pay off. I've waited 10 years for redemption, what's another year or two?

I hear you, it's certainly not something that is going to be easy, but at this point I just don't see another way around this. 

"the only reason anyone would want to take this would be for the potential publicity it could bring"- I highly doubt that this would bring much publicity to anyone.  You can absolutely find a lawyer to take this on.  There are also now lawyers who work specifically on cryptocurrency crimes/cases..so that would be the best place to start, talking to a lawyer who specializes in this are.  I know that they are out there, I've come across a few when just trying to look in to it.

We can't give up on this.  This guy stole god knows how much money, and I've pretty much T'd everything up here with absolute proof now that he scammed everyone.
