He's doing a lot of things and he can't just do all of those at the same time. As said, I thought that he'll be having another match after the election that he's part of.

But, I'm not expecting him to be the same with his past matches, yes he aged but there's still the power and speed that he's got.

Still, not that the same anymore where most of us were amazed back then.

He can always have any exhibition fight after his pro boxing career is over and this guy is a truly charitable person who always wanted to help. One of his ways is becoming to get into politics to further help others in need. Anyway, his era is over and we are now living in a different era where names like Inoue, Canelo and Haney, and others are the talks in the boxing industry. next Saturday will be a huge fight that will be one of the historical fights this year can't really wait for that. Canelo vs GGG III will finally happen.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

It's good that after Pacquiao loses the fight, he realized what thing he needs to focus on and he did that, which is focusing on his election campaign.
He's doing a lot of things and he can't just do all of those at the same time. As said, I thought that he'll be having another match after the election that he's part of.

Manny is no longer in his prime, what we have is just memories of those run when he was in top of the game for many years. No one can escape Father time not even the great and elite fighters. At least when he lost to Ugas, he knows when to stop and focus on other matters like the PH Presidential election in which he lost badly. And then the news of his return thru exhibition match against a South korean if I'm not mistaken.

Sad to say but both Canelo Alvarez 32 years old and Gennadiy Golovkin GGG 40 years old are near Manny Pacquiao's age, especially GGG, so I think for a couple of years and they will eventually need to retire at some point because their age is catching up to their speed, power, and durability, but surely it is their own choice if they still want to fight then they can,

Well, all of those boxers will eventually fall, victims to that, getting older and past their prime, kind of thing, and next in line could be GGG or Canelo, but certainly, fans want to see more of them inside the ring but eventually, they can not escape faith,

Well, you are saying DK Yoo, the South Korean, Martial Artist, Youtuber, Bruce Lee Wannabe, and amateur Boxer Wannabe fighter that is about to take on an 8 division champion boxer Manny Pacquiao this guy is totally screwed but at least there is a ton of money involved here when the fight is finished,

He tried to do what he had to do at the same time and he won at some point in time but later on Pacman realized that he is not getting any younger and should only pick one fight at a time that's why he retired after he lost to Ugas and focused on politics as he is also busy at that time for the presidential election.

Now, that he almost got all the time in the world, and just like what we've speculated, Pacman is not coming back but on an exhibition fight.

Yes, we should just accept the fact that Manny Pacquiao was already done doing professional fights in boxing industry and those heart racing fights he did when he still at the top of his prime will be just in our memories. That is the reality because there will always be a new boxers that will replace the elites.

About his upcoming fight, I'm confused whom he will be facing because there's a news surfacing on the internet.

With the experience he have in the industry and the talent he possess, I can say that Donaire will be deadly in the lower division but the catch is that we must accept that he isn't the Filipino Flash that we used to know anymore as he's already aging but the power is still there, I don't doubt it. But yes, you are right these are just mere speculations and we should watch him first before saying that he should already retire.
If he still wants to get into fights and wants to dominate then he'll do the stepping down. But if not, he'll do whatever he takes before he retires.

Aging really matters in terms of an athletic career, especially in this type of sport that needs physical contact.

But, as of now, we don't hear a lot from him and we still need to wait for the announcement on what his next step.

It is very difficult to determine how Donaire's behavior will be for now, many are saying that he is already very old and that he cannot do things like before, that he is not at the level of a young boxer, but I think that this should not be trusted , I think it is time to also have to fear or be careful of all the experience he has, in my personal opinion, if I had to fight someone like that, I would be much more careful, because this type of boxer knows his abilities very well and They know when they can give everything, just as they know how to measure the capabilities of a boxer who is an opponent.

If Donaire really goes down to a lower weight limit , I think he will be one of the forces to be reckoned with.  A lighter boxer tends to have less powerful punches, except of course for some exceptions.  I believe Donaire can handle punches really well in the lighter category, plus his punch will be devastating.  If he is what he is saying then I can see Donaire reigning in the 115-weight division.

If it is in the category of a lower weight as you say of 115, it seems to me that it is much easier for Donaire, it does not matter if he loses more weight, what I do not think will lose weight will be his punches, what happens is that the boxers seek to have more fame according to their weight, and the more weight you fight with more intensity and especially with more coins. Yes, Donaire is a great boxer, but I think he has to keep raising his level and by pure inspection it is known that the heaviest boxers are the most exciting fights, they are the most battle-hardened of all, and they also attract more people, I think That's what it's all about, and the business model, which is what sponsors are interested in, increases interest.

He's doing a lot of things and he can't just do all of those at the same time. As said, I thought that he'll be having another match after the election that he's part of.

Canelo vs GGG III will finally happen.

After so many things, the fight between Canelo and GGG will take place, I think this is a fight that takes place at the request of the fans, each one of them is looking for a growth option, both CANELO who wants to stand out after being defeated by Bivol and everyone wants to have an opportunity to be the best, the best I see so far with a good performance is undoubtedly Inoue, he is one of the most complete boxers and has great acceptance, the Russian has very good options, after Canelo, if Canelo wins out of insurance, he will ask Bivol for revenge, then this will become interesting, because Canelo would no longer enter with the same strategy that he showed against Bivol, which looked very bad.

Manny Pacquiao eyes boxing return with Saudi exhibition fight
https://sports.inquirer.net/476130/manny-pacquiao-eyes-boxing-return-with-saudi-exhibition-fight

That is great news, for me Pacquiao has not yet burned his last cartridges, I think he is a boxer who can give much more, both for himself and for the fans, I know he has had some painful episodes but he can get ahead, Honestly, I don't think that age has much of an impact on boxing, that is, it's not analogous to a footballer who, when he is over 37 years old, is already considered a veteran that nobody wants despite being very good, an older boxer has enough experience and can show a lot of dominance and teach novice boxers, this is something that can be seen today, some do not bet on older boxers because of this problem, but many times they are surprised.

Well, they cannot do anything about that but accept their reality as it is really inevitable and they don't have to worry anything about retirement because they have spent their boxing years very well and have been successful in making their legacy, especially Canelo who became an undisputed boxer and a pound for pound king.

Though Golovkin already said that he won't retire yet regardless of the result in their trilogy but I'm thinking that 2 years will be already long before he retires while Canelo still has almost a decade left in his career before he starts considering to retire.

Let's look at the perspective on the impact financially of the Marshall vs Shields fight. As per their promoter:

Quote
“We’ve lost more than anyone on this show,” Shalom said on BBC 5 Live Boxing. “From a financial perspective it’s a disaster."

https://www.boxingscene.com/shields-marshall-promoter-from-financial-perspective-its-disaster--169047

He admitted that they have lost so much money because of the unforeseen event (death of the Queen). From fans traveling to watch the fight live, to hotel bookings. I think it's more on the fans as well, imagine you go their with your friends and families to watch the fight in weekends and then suddenly the fight moved to another date so he have to get another bookings next month if you wanted to catch it.

Many think that heavyweight is the most exciting, I won't argue with that, but I find lighter, agile, and technical fighters to be more interesting.  I hate boxing matches that have more clinches than punches, and that often times the issue with the heavier boxer matches.  A heavier boxer is exciting due to the KO often happening but the same thing also happens in lighter weight matches.   I think the popularity depends on the exposure and promotional hype injected into the fight.  And Heavyweight category have lots of this.

If you are talking about Manny Pacquiao, his last match he really became a slug out there.  He even stated his legs are tight, meaning he has difficulty in moving.  I don't know if that is the sign of old-age where your minds are able but your body is not.  Manny may be slowed down and it was shown in his last fight.

Yes, we should just accept the fact that Manny Pacquiao was already done doing professional fights in boxing industry and those heart racing fights he did when he still at the top of his prime will be just in our memories. It looks like the fight against the martial art YouTuber DK Yoo would be disadvantageous for Manny in terms of body mass since there is no weight limit in this exhibition match.

There is no doubt that he's got a good heart but he's already past his prime and I agree that he can do exhibition matches for charity purposes if he wants to but, he can always get a cut from it.

Yeah, that's the news but it seems that there's no more update that I've seen about that match. But maybe within the next month, we'll see.

With the losses that he's made, that also made him realize that he's aged although he can still really box well. But age does really play a factor for athletes like in boxing.

And that's why, professional fights could be a no to him for now and he just have to accept the matches that there's not that match of stake for his professional record.

Yordenis Ugas Eyes Ring Return Next Year, Targets Keith Thurman, Jaron Ennis, and Vergil Ortiz

Yordenis Ugas might not have that big hype named until he beats Manny Pacquiao and got his best ever title in his entire boxing career, the WBA SuperWelterWeight title that becomes his ticket to fight in an unification match against Errol Spence Jr. who prior to their fight, holding the IBF and WBC welterweight titles. Unfortunately, he failed to win in that match and the direction of his career becomes unclear.

However, he is looking forward returning to the ring next year and some of his targets are Keith Thurman (who didn't fight have an official fight for 31 months but still managed to win unanimously against Mario Barrios on February this year), Vergil Ortiz and Jarron Enis.

Not expecting much from him but good for him to make some money before retiring.

Ugas does not deserve to fight Boots Ennis or Keith Thurman, I reckon. Boots Ennis will be the next king of welterweight boxing and Keith Thurman has recently won versus Mario Barrios. It might be more deserving for Ennis and Thurman to fight each other and the winner challenges Spence or Crawford for the their championships.

Ugas was braved enough to fight Spence for a unification fight, so I think he deserves a chance to be a top contender again. Not a superstar in boxing but he can give a good challenge to either Thurman or Ennis, but personally, I like Thurman to be a champion again.

Now, that he almost got all the time in the world, and just like what we've speculated, Pacman is not coming back but on an exhibition fight.

I think Pacman also saw the potential in exhibition matches and how much he can be paid, for me even though he is already rich, he can not afford to go back to that same old lifestyle he used to be, and he doesn't want his child to experience that same lifestyle he has back when he is not a boxer yet, and surely he can not perform any charity work if he himself is low on expenses, for me, it is still a good thing that he can warp a good fight that is only for entertainment and money as well,

Good point, they will still continue, and because they haven't reached the peak of Manny Pacquiao's age yet so it is highly that we can still see them fight inside the ring, while Naoya Inoue has a very bright future ahead of him, and just a 29 years old boxer means he still got the potential to build and a high ceiling to improve, I wish that Naoya Inoue and Ryan Garcia to clash to really see who does have the strong killer punch, but because of their weight class this isn't possible but maybe in the future or some future exhibition,

Yep, I've said this in another thread where Pacquiao might coming back in exhibition fight against DK Yoo a Korean youtuber at the end on this year. He even said he could taking a professional fight if there's a boxer want to fight with him, there will be a good cash flow for Pacquiao since many people already waiting him to comeback regardless which boxer he will fight. I think the cost of presidential election are really high and that's why he want to recover it from boxing.

And that's why boxing is really a business because with the likes of Manny, one of the most charismatic boxer, he can still command fans to watch his fight even if this is just an exhibition match and then he can make money again, simply as that.

Well if he want to come back professionally, then he can do that as well. But obviously, he is no longer in his prime and maybe he will get knockout by somebody that his younger and stronger than him in 147 lbs. Might be better if he stays with just pure exhibition matches.

He deserve to make money because he worked hard to be a legend. Exhibition fights are not prohibited, and it's a way to entertain the fans, so that is still something to be proud of him, let's see if his first exhibition fight will be successful.

Do we still have a betting odds for such exhibition fight?

If I'm not mistaken, Manny's exhibition match will be in December so there might not be odds listed for this time. Maybe we will see it when we are about to approach that fight.

Of course, he can do whatever he wants, and he is best at boxing so maybe even if he is retired or other things to do like politics, he can still make money around with this exhibition. And I don't think it will hurt his legacy. There could be hard core fans of Manny who doesn't want him to do this, but no one can stop him if he wanted to do this to earn, just like the other retired boxers.

Yes, that is just how the life works and it is inevitable because they cannot stay on the top spot forever and eventually, they will be replaced by the younger boxers who will become new elites in their own phase and time.

DK Yoo cannot reject this kind of fight as he will be getting paid big time while getting the honor in fighting a legendary boxer, Manny Pacquaio. Also, I'm sensing that Pacquiao has chose DK Yoo as a tune-up fight before he sets a bigger fight soon, still he has to test the water first to be safe even if it's just exhibition fight.

If a fighter getting older then his speed and power getting lower too and we all know that. And for manny pacman if he had a fight then a lot of money he earn because we all know that thousand of dollars or even millions of dollars the amount of prices and if we converted it on PHP money then that's a lot and that is enough to fulfill his empty wallet. About this tuneup game this upcoming December if that will happen then for manny will still have a chance to win.

Manny Pacquiao eyes boxing return with Saudi exhibition fight

I have no doubt as well that Pacquiao can still dance gracefully in the ring against any other veteran boxer out there, I mean, if your passion is boxing then I believe that no one can stop you from getting into fights especially if there's huge money in line just waiting to be unlocked.

It looks like the fight against the martial art YouTuber DK Yoo would be disadvantageous for Manny in terms of body mass since there is no weight limit in this exhibition match.

Also, fighting DK Yoo might not give them their projected revenue that's why there's another opponent surfacing now that Pacman will fight in Saudi Arabia.
