Jesse Bam Rodriguez has already surpassed Tank Davis at only 24 years old. It is very impressive what he has accomplished in his young career. Canelo still being in the top 5 is a bit generous. Canelo peaked when he became undisputed champion against Plant in 2021. Since then, it’s been a loss to Bivol and cherry picked opponents like Ryder, Charlo and a very old GGG. He gets credit for his accomplishments in the past, but he cannot live off that forever. I consider Bivol and Beterbiev to be better fighters at this moment but due to inactivity we have not seen their full potential.

I guess they still given preferential treatment to Canelo as this point in time. He had decline already and as you have said, cherry picking his fight after his lost to Bivol.  I like Bam Rodriguez and it seems to be that his could be the one to break the monopoly of Japanese fighters in the lower rank right now.

As for Haney, yes, he could not be in the top 10. But it seems that we have the weakest of the champions right now, they don't even include 140 lbs like Teo Lopez or even Pitbull Cruz to represent that weight class.

What being talked about about Imane Khelif?
She was indeed accused of being transgender but that was only proven because the basic testosterone hormone she had was so high like man, there was nothing else that could state about this accusation and even called woman who was born with high testosterone levels.
It is difficult to be able to confirm everything more clearly and last year Imane Khelif when she participated in the 2023 World Boxing Championship was banned from fighting in the final and that was all because of the provisions and regulations of the International Boxing Association (IBA).
But for the 2024 Olympics she became one of the legitimate boxers and could continue her struggle to win the gold medal, maybe for some championships in the international boxing association she will get ban like last year.
I don't know what really happened but if it is proven, the certainty of whether she is real woman or transgender will definitely be known sooner or later in the future.

Yes, it's all for the money for Canelo now, he had a fight with Berlanga and if he gets pass him for sure he will be looking for Crawford. Crawford is a brand ambassador for HE His Turki Alalshikh. And so Canelo is banking that they are going to make that fight happen and give him what he is asking for.

Crawford will have a fight with Madrimov at 154 lbs, so this is a great start for him. If he shows and knockout Madrimov here, then there will be hype on Canelo and him fighting as he might call out Canelo post fight interview.

And another girl in question has won her match as Taiwan's Lin Yu-ting beat Sitora Turdibekova. And I think you are referring to Algerian boxer Imane Khelif who beat Angela Carin. And according to Angela, she quit because she can't take it anymore as Khelif, quitting in just 46 seconds.

So this is really controversial decision from IOC to let both boxers to compete because of some gender issues or testing. And it's more from that, I mean they are ban by IBA, however IOC stripped of responsibility from this year's Olympics that's why the two female boxers are allowed to compete now.

Yes, that is very clear since he lost to Bivol, he should have lost to GGG though. But now since Canelo is getting old, for sure his adviser is telling him to carefully select an opponent that will not be a treat or very easy fight. Now fighting Berlanga next this September and most like he will be getting the bigger purse split again.

No denying though that even if Canelo is declining, still other boxer sees him as the cash cow and so they are willing to fight even if the purse split favors Canelo. After all if they upset him, it will be a good stepping stone for them just like what Bivol is right now.

I reckon that the most important lesson to get from this occurrence is King Ry did not cheat and he was telling the truth when he shared in social media that he did not use steroids. There were also many accusations from Devin Haney and his team, however, who was telling the truth and who was lying? This is very important to know despite if the judge has sentenced Ryan already.

Yeah, that's might be something if Ryan's camp knew it that they are taking illegal supplement that's another side but it's been handle and I don't any changes after, they just need to move forward and continue their careers, if they got that chance to fight again then better to clear everything first to make sure incident like this won't happen again.

A good rematch with clean from anything will settle the real winner, I like the chance of this drama converted to another million dollar money making for both camps.

Exactly, there could be boxing fans that might hate Ryan Garcia because he has caught with PEDS in his system. And the way he really beat Haney, we all know that Devin can't get over with that first lost of his career.

And again, he weight more than 140 lbs and for sure he can make the weight at 147 lbs or even 154 lbs. And I also think that Crawford can go down to welterweight if ever he is willing to face Ryan. And as Crawford is not getting any younger, last couple of fights for him should be money fight. I am presently watching Luis Alberto Lopez vs. Angelo Leo for the world IBF featherweight division championship. The champion is Lopez from Mexico and anyone who is watching this can be quite certain that if Inoue can increase his weight for this division, he can certainly win against Lopez hehehe.

I predict that next year, Inoue will leave super bantamweight and begin unifying the championships of featherweight with the last fight of the unification against Brandon Figueroa in Las Vegas heheheheheh.

Same thoughts, Venado Lopez is good and he could give Inoue a great fight, however, that potential clash might be shelve as he was upset by Angelo Leo who I think is a great boxer as well but since this division is pretty much stacked up, he is just rated number 10 by the IBF and so he was given this fight and Lopez thought that it's going to be very easy for him.

We will give Inoue his props even if he gets 2 belt in this weight class. Rey Vargas, Brandon Figueroa is going to be a nightmare fight for him as this two is very tall. And then others like Lopez, Leo and not that tall, but physically they are bigger than Inoue as this could be their natural weight class and they are very much comfortable at 126 lbs. And that's why what Pacquiao did, going up in weight won 8 divisions, skipping 2 divisions, (so there is a possibility than the can be 10 division champ) is hard to dupicate.

This could be KOTY and then the Ortiz vs Bohachuk FOTY in one card, that's crazy.

I have no problem with creating a thread like this, but for me, I want a dedicated discussion on a particular boxing match so we can dwell on the strength and weaknesses of each fighter and give hints or tips for those who like to bet on that particular fight, the flow of discussion will always be on-topic about one particular match.

You are absolutely right, I would like to start betting on boxing matches perhaps I might get lucky in it.. getting some tips and predictions here would be really helpful.. there are a lot of people who aren't really familiar with the strength of the fighters,  we would love a well detailed analytical prediction so we can start betting on it..I think boxing is quite better to bet on because they don't go on long breaks like  soccer games, waiting for a season to resume is very exhausting
