^^ This news has been in months now, and obviously as you have said, Munguia is no longer with Golden Boy so I guess this has to be scrapped by Oscar himself as this is the fight that fans are likely going to watch. Shakur is injured if I'm not mistaken. Duarte vs Haney doesn't make sense, but perhaps Oscar doesn't have any options at 140 lbs for now.

It could be good though if we will have another 5x5 just like what we've seen in Saudi between Matchroom and Queensberry. But it sould be like pretty much stack up fight not like what Oscar wanted to set up here.

Nakatani is the best in the 118-pound division and now he has moved up to 122-pound with Inoue even though they are both under Bob Arum but I think it will be hard for Rodriguez to meet Inoue unless he can beat Nakatani and really take over the 118-pound division.

So let's see how it goes for Bam next year, there are a lot of potential fights in the horizon for this kid. And I would say that he is for real and not overrated, unless he faces a Filipino who has nothing to lose and give him a close fight,  . That's a good opinion, though I do have a different view but yes why not if he and his camp is willing to take that step for his career, it's always an open opportunity that might happen if either Inoue or Nakatani accept that challenge, like what you said he might be young but it's true that the eagerness inside him can be fuel up when one of these two champs gives him that fight.

Though most of the handlers are not into this kind of risk as they value the money more than anything, if they see big risk they might not take that path and will just continue where they are getting decent opportunity.
