I hope AFCON turns out good this year, there are too many good players there for it to be so

I know the fans are going to be passionate and Twitter will erupt each match-day after the group stages, but then I really can’t say it wouldn’t be just as boring as the last few editions. I’m quite optimistic but to be honest I’m expecting an even more boring one this time around, 85-90% of the games with 0-1 goal as usual after a VAR awarded penalty.

@igebotz, we have one of the shittiest telecommunication and internet services as well, and crude oil services too (since you were driving just a while ago) yet they are all very expensive, should we boycott all these services and immediate needs too because they aren’t being provided as they ought too ? I can’t even pay for Apple Music subscription without being charged at the unofficial price equivalent to USD from Nigerian bank and other supposedly official sources, should I rather deprive myself of the most basic amenities and source of genuine information because the government doesn’t want us to see beyond the 4 corners of the country ?

Many of the users here will develop an interest if the offer is available, I doubt they can help themselves

I just got mine and they are going to be broadcasting the AFCON and it is 200 times less cheaper than what you pay to DSTV/month and for the record if you must make any transactions in Dollar outside the country you can find a trusted source on the forum to pay it for you and refund them in BTC (this is what I've been doing since the ban on our Naira cards).

I expect this edition of the CAF African Cup Of Nations to be more entertaining, intriguing, dramatic and enjoyable than most of the former editions and that's because of the quality of players that'll grace the big football event this time around. Most of the stars of each of the 24 teams that'll be playing in the tournament are star players of their respective European clubs and will want to bring their quality to play which I think will make the tournament even more interesting for both African football fans as well as fans from other continents.

One big challenge most of the locals in may country will face will be where to watch the games as the commonest sitelite tv that was supposed to air the games have already notified their customers that they won't be showing any of the games. But because of how passionate the football fans in my country are, I know they'll still device means to watch the games when the tournament kicks off

Tried using a transaction accelerator? ViaBTC is only accelerating 20 free transactions now, but if you are fast, your transaction can be squeezed in.
A fee of 40 sats/vbyte is optimum now, it is all down to how many vbytes your transaction has.

Ok! I just made a transaction with a little more than $3 commission (no time to search for other options) when it is confirmed I will write a PM.
I don’t use accelerators, I usually have simple transactions, so simple options are enough for me.
Damn, it seems like there is one output, two inputs and a commission of more than 3 dollars, but for some reason the fee is lower than the recommended 40 satoshi per byte.

My money will be on Morocco to get to the final four. This is not just because of their World Cup performance, but their form since the end of the World Cup. They have been very impressive in the World Cup and African Nations Cup qualifiers.
When we get to the last 4 it is anyones game from there. It no longer becomes about having a star studded team or good game management.

Egypt, Senegal, Ivory Coast and Nigeria would all have a shout at the trophy too.

Nigeria can be the spark with their forwards. It is a shame Ndidi will not be part of the team. Nicolas Jackson will also want to take some of his goal scoring form to Senegal and push them. We will also find out how fit Pape Sarr would be.

What you said about Senegal looking good on paper...is the same thing about Morroco and the fact that this competition has a tendency of forcing results of draws... disadvantages these favourites to win the competition as one bad result could mean an early exit.... For this reason I would be looking for teams in mid table to win it...

Nigeria lost to Guinea after winning Dubai based club 12-0 in friendly game few days ago. Boniface to miss the AFCON after suffering from injury just 6 days to AFCON, he also missed the U20 AFCON 7 days to the competition in the last edition. My man is cursed.

The Nigeria coach is mid and that's our biggest weakness.

I’m not sure that Onana’s problems do not lie in himself - I looked at the clips of goals that he missed throughout the entire last season (and part of this season) and I can say that in 25-30 percent of cases this is definitely his mistake. Moreover, often this is not just a mistake, but a mistake due to the fact that he wants to play beautifully and not reliably. That’s why you can find video clips of him making beautiful saves. But on average, it seems to me that he does not play at the level of top goalkeepers.
