You are finally getting the picture. Russia let Ukraine use their Black Sea Corridor (BSC) lands for quite a while. It would probably have lasted a lot longer if the Ukraine government had not started killing Russians on their own BSC land.

So, now Ukrainians are being shot on these Russian lands. But generally, unlike Ukraine, Russia isn't shooting them again if they survive the first volley.

The reasons the West is attacking Russia are twofold.
1. They want to steal the Russian resources from them, and they are using Ukraine to do it;

It's been already 4 years when people of Donbas and not only is geetting killed, thanks to Putin. And it's only about active phase of war, while whole thing continues from 2014.
