This year's World Cup in Qatar will be a huge success.

Many people are not happy with the timing of the world cup, and the venue too, i am not happy either but we have to take it as it is, i am also sure many people would not be travelling to Qatar to watch the world cup live because of they do not like the fact that Qatar is the one hosting it, but football fans would still hope for a successful tournament, if you ask for my opinion i don't care much about this year's world cup and i just hope the world stars that would be going to the world cup do not get injured because club competition resumes immediately after the world cup.

Somewhere I read that although Argentina has won 35 matches on the trot, they never had an opponent from the UEFA. I don't know whether this is right. But they should not worry about the UEFA teams. None of the European teams are looking good at this point. Given the latest heatwaves all around Europe I would say that it will be colder than expected for the UEFA teams in Qatar.

The weather is basically going to be in the mid to high twenties, which is quite pleasant compared to the 40+ degrees happening in Europe recently...

Also I wouldn't say weather in South America is necessarily hot for all the countries involved, for example, the southern parts of Argentina are basically next to Antarctica!

I believed FIFA is also aware on the strictness on Qatar before taken the world cup to that place. So they would have put things in order. Therefore, feel free to go and have fun.

My bet is also between Brazil and Argentina.
I believe that Brazil has a better chance of winning the world cup, because even without a team of great stars (let's face it, Neymar is not doing so well), it's a young team that has actually played very well (undefeated). in all the qualifiers and friendlies in which he participated.

1994 edition was the first World Cup that I watched, and was in US, I remember Brazil played against US on Round of 16
It was a great team but unfortunately a game against the champion Brazil messed with their plans, maybe you guys could reach easily a semi final.
I remember some good players of 1994 like Alexi Lalas, Marcelo Balboa, Cobi Jones and Tony Meola.

After Brazil, my second favorite squad is US, and I hope one day they will be the champion and soccer will be more popular on US.

I agreed here about the USA they are not best team even still they are in top 20 but here it's not easy for them to qualify for next round because they are going to face England and Wales both are very strong teams and having quality players those can give good results at the end of the day for their teams even they can beat Iran and stay at third in their group, but currently they are in development process so not easy time for them in this world cup, but surely we can expect good from them at home in next world Cup which is good for them.

Yes, I can't say if this is a problem that is being experienced by European countries or they are just still saving their real strength for the World Cup so that they are not easy to read the game.
