As we know that tomorrow is the first match of the world cup will take place, and the match will bring together Qatar as the host of the world cup this time with Ecuador. The question is, what are your predictions for this first game? Will Qatar win, or will Ecuador win instead? I intend to place a $200 bet, please give your POV on this.

But I think Qatar will have some advantage in the match between Qatar and Ecuador. They will play with great enthusiasm in their hearts. Qatar has a lot of players in the team, but Ecuador's performance is ahead of Qatar's. Still I think Qatar will win.

I don't see anything special for the Qatar team. Qatar could have been slightly ahead as the host country for this year's World Cup but I don't think that will affect the quality of the game. Because Ecuador is ranked 46th with 1452.63 points while Qatar is ranked 51st with 1441.41 points. Since the World Cup in Qatar, they will have more spectators for supporting. But Ecuador has more chances to win this match. As this is the opening match it is very difficult to predict. But the match also has the possibility of a draw.

Why am I more inclined to see this match, it will be a draw without any goals, because the two countries both want to win which makes this match going to be tough, even though there is someone who scores goals first, but there will be someone who will equalize the goals, which  resulting in a match in the final 90 minutes will run with a score between 1-1/0-0..

Aren't you afraid of placing such an amount of money only on the advice of other bettors? On paper Ecuador is better than Qatar and the rumors that are going on at the moment shouldn't affect it because for me they are still rumours. Even though Ecuador is the favorite, all possibilities are still possible and I don't want to give any advice because you should choose based on your own decision.

I'm not promising that Qatar will win or Ecuador it's just that most of what we see in this thread a lot of people predict the match will be a draw, but I prefer not to bet on this match because it's still early in the opening and it's the first match of the hosts, so it's best avoided

Although there are other young players in the team that can carry the team along players like Troosard and Tielemans

I don't have good feeling about France and Belgium but in Germany I have it. Belgium will have their last chance (likely) to win a big title with this generation but I guess it is a little bit late for them already. Hazard nowadays even should not appear in their squad. A few seasons in Bernabeu destroys a best of Hazard and it is a myth story if we look back at the past, how amazing he played in Chelsea.
Will we have a final match between Argentina vs Germany or Brazil vs Germany?

In my opinion, Belgium, Germany, and Argentina will have difficulty in this competition, let alone making it to the finals. Belgium is not one of the top ten favorites for the championship . No African countries were taken into consideration in the 16-round projection, as biased as they will be. However, I think the African nations will do well in this world cup because of Qatar's favorable weather conditions for African prayers, which will hurt European prayers due to Qatar's weather. Portugal is my favorite World Cup squad because I believe they have a complete team.

A few days ago, Croatia played a friendly match against Saudi Arabia and barely won 1:0, with a very bad game and a lot of mistakes in defense.
After the match, all Croatian players and coaches complained about the high heat and difficult playing conditions.

I am a person who believes that the match will end in a draw, but as you said, it may be more logical to stay away than to bet on this match. In the last 5 matches of Ecuador, 1 goal was scored, and he defeated the Cape Verde Islands 1-0 in the friendly match, and the other 4 matches ended as they started. There is a high probability that the match will end with few goals.

I hope to see a decent World Cup in this country. We are about to watch a World Cup in November for the first time and we shouldn't be regretful about this later on. Besides I hope that we don't see another World Cup being organized in a time except the summer. It is always better for supporters and players both to have this tournament in the summer. It is good for players too because they don't have to deal with an extra tightness in their schedule with their teams in a season.

I just want to hear POV from others, I will only make your response as one of the references from the various references that I get. Maybe it is true that Qatar as the host will make a surprise in this first match. Besides that, I have also seen the match history of these two teams. I want to keep Qatar team ahead in this match. I also know that Qatar is not a strong team. But I don't think the Ecuador team is strong either. However, Ecuador will try to draw the match. They have drawn in the last three matches. They also managed to draw against a big team like Japan. However, Ecuador lost 4-3 in their last match against Qatar. But the match was held in 2018. My prediction for the upcoming match is either a draw or a win for Qatar.

I like this!!! I plan to enjoy every moment of the world cup, I even started following the build up to the kick off ceremony. The united states will be in the world cup with one of the youngest teams, I don't sincerely think the united states can win it, but it will be interesting to see how far the team can get. I will be watching the games with friends and we will be watching most games, with some turkey wins We all should try to enjoy ourselves, it is a competition that is not played everyday.

We are enjoying each World  Cup match begin tomorrow and first opening match Qatar vs Ecuador, expected to know how the enthusiasm of the home fans in the first game. It would be a shame if that really happened because it made the tournament unhealthy again due to bribery and or match-fixing practices, but hopefully it's just a rumor because I'm sure there is an investigation team that has good accuracy to prevent or uncover practices like this.
But regarding the Qatar and Ecuador teams, for me these two teams are not strong teams but indeed, Ecuador has a better chance because they have strong gameplay too.
But that doesn't mean Qatar has completely lost its chance to get points, because at least Qatar can still hold Ecuador to a draw in this match.

So, with predictions like that I think Qatar doesn't need to cheat because that is also a form of their lack of confidence in this tournament.

If there is a cheat in the match, it will be obvious and will come to light. Even if Qatar did come out, I think they showed that they are capable of doing it by hiring Pakistani audiences. If the match is played on equal terms, Ecuador will easily dominate. The worst match ends in a draw. Let's see, although I am not very excited for the opening match, I am curious about the result.

If he is still better than the guy behind him why would Ronaldo retire or Portugal not play him because he has already had a good career.  Once he stops being effective then yeah but as of now he isn't going anywhere.  Wondering how Portugal will do this go around.  Lots of good story lines in this cup, shoukd be a good one.

Well, I guess opinion and point of views differs indeed, and this is what makes us human, I camped with Ecuador, I personally think they would win the match, this is because I think Ecuador has a stronger and more vibrant players than Qatar, but one can never be so sure I guess, lets indeed see how the match goes.

Ronaldo will try to prove many people wrong in this world Cup edition. He needs to showcase his talent to land him a big club. But my fear is if he has a bad game it will affect the entire team because he hardly gets benched even when he performs bad. There are exciting players like Andre Silva that the selecao can introduce in case Ronaldo takes his poor season to the world Cup.

I prefer Ecuador in the opening match, Even though Ecuador failed to qualify at the 2018 World Cup in Russia, La Tri has a pretty good young force at the moment, such as Piero Hincapie, Plata, and Moises Caicedo, although they do not look mature in the Ecuador Senior squad , with the player material owned by Gustavo Alfaro's team, the chances of victory for Ecuador will be much greater when compared to Qatar.

We think it will look easy for England to secure full points against Iran, Iran's material is not comparable to English players, because generally England squad play in European leagues and are quite used to facing difficult matches. Risking England's victory, with a big score is more convincing, because the England striker has a chance to score more goals in that match.
