One of Argentina's two best players of all time.  The best in my opinion.  He is still the best in the world.  He is 35 years old and still performing at a high level.  After seeing his play in this world cup, I wonder if he can be in the next world cup as well.  He will be 39 years old and he is a star who can play at that level.

Lionel Messi is doing everything he can to become the best in the history of football. He showed it to everyone with a great game last night as well. He plays football almost like he's playing a computer game. If he continues like this, he will be on the match at the World Cup in 4 years, even though he is 39 years old.

The young striker of Manchester City showed a great performance. he scored 2 goals and also won a penalty for his team. Messi was the player of the match, but if it had been Alvarez, no one would have looked at it negatively.

We can predict, but of course we can't determine who will be the champion. If France reach the final again, then it's clear that Argentina will really have to fight extra to beat them. Honestly I didn't expect France to reach consecutive finals in two different World Cup between 2018 and 2022. But really I don't think it's easy to stop France especially Morocco is just a dark horse team. Morocco could roar again, but the chances are very low.

So irrespective of who committed more fouls, it was Croatia which got negatively impacted in the end. Anyway, the statistic that matters is shots on target. Argentina had 7 to their name (out of that they converted 2 to goals) and Croatia had just 2.

Actually Croatia did look very good in the early minutes until the 30th minute in the first round. However, after a violation occurred in the penalty box, Croatia had to be willing to go behind by 1 goal through Messi's penalty kick. made the Croatian players panic and after that the Croatian game really went bad. mentally croatia players had lost to argentina at that time. plus the great game that Argentina did, of course, made Argentina even more superior in that match. In the second half, Croatia had more of the ball too. But Croatia has indeed lost its composure in the game. they made a lot of mistakes like inaccurate passes. due to haste. and Croatia's appearance in that match was not as good as usual. where in previous matches croatia always played calmly and rarely made mistakes in passes. The penalty truely ruined the whole game, we were having a very strong contented game that both sides were looking determined to win with Croatia having a little more momentum but everything changed after that early penalty that was givens to Argentina, and frankly speaking that wasn't a penalty. What do you expect the keeper to do at that point when he came out to block the ball. He didn't make any attempt to foul the player instead the player saw him and went towards his direction then they both collided.

The cordination between Messi and Alvarez was simply incredible. Croatian defence got destroyed completely because of these two. Argentina success in qualifying for the final could not be separated from the great contribution of Messi, this match looked so easy for Argentina by beating Croatia 3-0. Well, I was actually a little surprised when it was considered a violation. and about it even now become controversial news. maybe this is a fortune for Argentina. because in the early minutes Croatia did appear to put more pressure on Argentina. But after the penalty, everything changed drastically for Croatia. and Argentina also became playing with more confidence. but Argentina did great in the game. However, what is unfortunate is that in this World Cup there have been many controversial things related to violations and the like. in fact an incident like this also happened in the Portugal vs Morocco match in the Moroccan penalty box when Bruno fernandes (if I don't forget) was fouled by one of the Moroccan players. However, it was declared not a violation.
