100% I am so fucking sick of people gambling on animals of any kind whether it’s dog racing or horse racing but especially even more sickening and cruel types such a cock fighting and dog fighting. What in the world is wrong with your government?! Some sort of savages, Jesus Christ. The whole world has a major issue when it comes to gambling on animal sports but especially the eastern world , and in particular Asia. That concerns a lot to the President I'd say since this is just the incident that happen where lot of missing person was gone in just a day then just found dead with lots of gunshots on their bodies. I think it was a good call from the President to do his duty for his people and besides if the virus is contained a lot of people will enjoy the traditional cockfighting they always love to attend if the government prioritize the containment. It depends on who is going to lobby to get it back, if the people that are going to lobby are the same people who helped him fund his presidential campaign I doubt if he will say no, remember operators and their partners are making billions of pesos here and the government hundreds of millions every month, it's tempting for both parties, the missing piece is strict regulation if they can regulate the operation where only serious gamblers who can gamble and lose without any issue then it's a go for the government to let it continue.

I can’t see any countries that also have online cockfighting but I see other countries that also legalize cockfighting which is still the same in concept, the chance of losing life of the Rooster are fast here but still in the Philippines it is still legal. Online cockfighting organizers are already advised to stop their operation, I’m not sure if there’s already a paper about this one but it looks like it is already implemented and you can only see illegal site right now that still operate, better not to bet with them again because of the risk and yeah, upon seeing the actual cockfighting, I believe it should be stopped as soon as possible. My worst experience with the live cockfighting is that, bettors are also fighting with each other, which put many lives into a bigger risk, this is also my reason why I’m afraid to watch the live fight, you can’t trust anyone there.

I believe the online cockfighting started because they are finding a way to still continue doing operations in the midst of the pandemic. And I am still in doubt that this would be stopped successfully. I have heard that the current administration is not so clean with regards to its intentions, and that many government officials are also involved or behind such cockpit hubs. At the end of the day, it would depend on the citizens if they will still continue to support such activity.
