Diaz didn't get any minutes; Gakpo was enough to see the game through, especially after that moment of magic in the first goal.

Salah captaincy paid off again with a goal; an assist would have made it juicier, although almost everyone in the pool had him as captain.

Saka against Ipswich would have been the better captain option this week; just very unlucky that he is not going to feature.

I am expecting Arsenal players to get good points tomorrow. I hope there is another Gabriel goal and a clean sheet.

Is incredible how when i tried to avoid a clearly bad performance of Pickford because of the matches they had ahead it ended up being his best ever consecutive rounds.

9 points against City

What a mistake it ended up  made him sit in the bench. (clearly it was the correct option anyways nobody was expecting this).

Who could have expected that he would do so good against the 3 big teams currently in the league. Whoever had him on goal was incredible lucky. I think everyone avoided to put him because its just not logical to put him on goal against the big teams. I had Fabianski on goal and he got injured in 35th minute and didnt get a clean sheet and this was crazy just. Now got an injured goalkeeper and a benched goalkeeper for next round so need to act fast to get a good goalkeeper. Wont get Pickford because i dont think he can keep this form going.

Are you so confident in your ability that you decided to play the game without using WC? You know if you don't use it in this GW you are loosing it? After GW 19 we get new one but WC don't stack. Double check exactly when is the deadline for first WC actually, I know it is mid season, but not sure if it is before or after GW19.

If the defense can continue to remain compact, he should be able to help Everton maintain clean sheets. The reason Everton are not in the top half of the table is more about their poor ability to convert goal-scoring opportunities that they create, not really a defensive problem.

The second wildcard gets active after the deadline of game week 19 has passed, i.e. to begin the game week 20, so he has until the end of game week 18 to play the wildcard.

Arsenal will be in Ipswich's half, and that will be for more than half of the game, knowing how important a win will be to get back into second place. Our defensive line is really solid, and I doubt that they will be caught out in this game. The home advantage will also help to achieve that.

I could only imagine just how strange that would be, getting Haaland in on your squad in this time that Manchester City asset is a no to have. If Pep was really going to make something happen, I don’t see why he would have to wait this long. At least there game yesterday should have been that game where they turn things around but, Haaland goes ahead to miss a penalty and gets negative points.

Mbueomo couldn’t give me just what I wanted to see him do so badly, getting a goal or an assist but, they settle for a draw. Brighton was clearly the better side in this fixture no doubt about that. Just shows how I made yet another wrong decision in having to bench Cunha with 12points.

I know I already said I wasn't going to transfer Bruno Fernandes out, so I was looking for long term offensive option elsewhere and thought tripling up on Cunha Jackson Isak would be a bad move, however, after I checked Cunha's fixture, I think I'm just going to stick with Pedro for the sake of my budget and hope Brighton find their out of their slumber real quick..

I don't know if the FA actually do take this long to issue out match ban, perhaps the holiday indeed is having its own effect on the speed of things, but if he's not officially suspended yet, could he avoid it and maybe get monetary sanctions only ?
