I'm not going to lie, I'm thinking about it for real, he's probably going to be my biggest shot at my triple captain chip if Man City are to have themselves a double game week, I believe they should while already having of the easiest next round of fixture in the FA Cup.

The only problem I'd have is the amount of transfer I'd need to bringing him if I'm not using my wildcard, you know Haaland command a huge fee, except one is doing Salah to a cheap midfielder and Haaland upfront, that's the only way to use just 2 transfers, at least for me.

I am thinking about it too, but it depends on a few factors for me:

1) his fitness (he could still be injured from last gameweek).
2) when Saka is back.
3) if they get knocked out of the UCL, it would be a huge plus for bringing Haaland back since there would be fewer competitions.

In my opinion, it's better to use chips only in double gameweeks.

For me Wood is the main option because he is in top form and doing everything for Nottingham Forest. Isak is in a bad form and last 2-3 rounds not doing anything for me just wasting my points. Haaland for now no, Marmoush for sure once this 3 matches finish before that not bringing him. Cunha and Mateta i honestly dont know if i should risk with them.

The plan isn't to bringing him back immediately, it's likely going to be after those matches or even further down the line. In terms of attack, I might even be going 3-5-2 for the time being, because the midfielders are actually producing more returns that the forwards, including the premium forwards, their performances have all dropped drastically. It's time for a shift in attention.

For me Wood is the main option because he is in top form and doing everything for Nottingham Forest. Isak is in a bad form and last 2-3 rounds not doing anything for me just wasting my points. Haaland for now no, Marmoush for sure once this 3 matches finish before that not bringing him. Cunha and Mateta i honestly dont know if i should risk with them.

Wood is currently overperforming when you compare his xG of 10.3, xA of 0.4, and xGI (goal involvements) of 10.7 with his actual numbers: 18 goals and 2 assists. Soon, the fixtures will become more difficult.

I have Isak in my team, and I have a lot of value tied up in his price. I purchased him at 8.6 million and can sell him now for 9 million, with his current price at 9.5 million. So, for me, he’s staying. In the near future, he has decent fixtures and a possible double gameweek.

Haaland is the type of striker you don’t need to worry about in terms of fixtures at all. For me, his fitness and price matter, and I think you can afford him, as you can find a few cheap, good midfielders.

In my opinion, if Haaland is out, the next penalty taker in line is Omar Marmoush, as he took penalties for Eintracht. That’s why I’m considering bringing him into my squad. I also watched two of City’s games, and Marmoush added a lot of dynamism to their attack. I was impressed by Nico González, too, as I think he makes City’s center more consistent than before, which is an argument in favor of both Haaland and Marmoush in the bandwagon train.

Mateta has really good fixtures, except for the blank in GW29, and Cunha is the most important player for Wolves and their penalty taker.

Maybe when I find Haaland to have become more confident in himself, I could consider bringing him back into my team and that’ll also depends on how Manchester City would be playing at the time. Though they might have won Newcastle United to my surprise, I don’t see them to be there yet, especially for Haaland. Maybe he benefits from my 2nd WC or not.

I’m still okay with what Woods, Isak though haven’t done much lately and Gakpo (absent to injury) have being doing with my attack. Haven’t seen any better on the market so, it’s going to stay that way in the mean time.

Aston Villa should have won the game. I know Liverpool came to win and get all 3 points but they should be satisfied with this one point. The final minutes of this game could have easily won by Aston Villa. Rogers had one golden opportunity and missed, his exclamation after the miss tells the tale and the next was from Malen, once he broke into that 18yard box, the ball had everything to do with the net but, slightly tilted to the left and yet another miss. That was the last action of game.

Liverpool dropping points is not bad news, but also good news in addition to Salah's goal and assist. 

Arsenal has played a game less, and with the next two tough fixtures for Liverpool, they may likely drop more points and open up more the opportunity for Arsenal to catch up. I hope so at least.

The manager chip really is a weird one, with free transfers perhaps it's better to chase the managers with chances of getting bonus points for position when there are no clearcut easy fixtures to target for the big guns, I was thinking Oliver Glasner with Palace visiting Fulham, I really can't decide just If I'd have a transfer to spare for that or stick with my chances on Liverpool.

Having Slot to complete my 3 Liverpool players quota was the only reason why I was able to avoid the Gakpo bandwagon, and I'm glad about how it all turned out in the end, my Watkins move was rather too early and I would have been far better off If I had brought him in on a free transfer last game week or the one before, however, having him for the concluded GW was the real deference maker for me, and alongside Verbruggen's haul earned me the manager of the round.
