I took yet another big step with not retuning my captaincy from Wood to Haaland but rather, took my chances with Palmer and it was yet another disappointment. After the Chelsea match, my eyes was all fixed on Manchester City if they would do any better but no, Manchester City and Haaland couldn’t make me reject my actions the more.
@Cryptofrka, I might be kicking Haaland off my team temporarily after all, seems Salah, is the man now, his been relatively consistent and comes through good with the team at the top of the table.

Yep, I'm fucking it up royally with my captains. Decided on Palmer as well, I already know who I'll captain in the next round and it will be bad again.
I decided not to go with Salah for a few more games but will bring him in my team soon. LFC is playing it more safely than under Klopp so I didn't expect him to be so heavily involved. A big mistake I need to correct soon.

Cunha is a better option, and Wolves have very good games coming. He can score in all those games. At the next opportunity, I will bring him in.

Man your team is so average, what are you doing with double Fulham, double Brentford and double Leicester City players without Liverpool assets by this time of the season? You urgently need a wildcard to save your season.

You have a good team. I would probably make only a few changes:
1) Haaland to Pedro
2) ESR to Salah
3) Romero to Konate

As for Wissa, it might be too early to draw conclusions, but with Thiago back, Wissa could see reduced minutes. I think he'll now play around 70 minutes per game. You may need to consider replacing him in the future as well.

But main advice trust your own guts every time.

I really want to sell Haaland, since i brought him he give me nothings, but i cant made that move i cant risk a wake up from him and scoring again a poker, i dont think that is gonna happen in thsi week because they play against Liverpool, but after that.....

He played almost all minutes for Arsenal so staying on the bench was weird to see.
If he gets the minutes again he will get decent returns, but if he sits out the next game as well I will have to make an unplanned transfer.

First question: I was sure my sub would be made now but I guess it just waits for all the games to be played? My Porro will save me from a bad week but I still see his points not counted in my total.

Second question: if you use captain or triple captain and the player gets a negative, will that total also double/triple? Curious, and I know I should look it up but since this pool is full of experts...

Auto subs are made at the end of the game week. Meaning, Porro will come in for you sometime after Newcastle finishes tonight. You will have his points before league updates for sure.

Captain points are same as if you multiply with 2. So if the player you captained gets -2 points it will be -4 for you.

I think he was resting, he played in Germany national team 120 mins(total) and last Germany's game was 19.11.

My week couldn’t have been more disastrous, I would have said Salah saved the day but given that he’s owned by everyone and captained by everyone as well (except cryptofrka of course) so he doesn’t really count. The week ahead doesn’t look even brighter from far ahead to be honest because Salah and Haaland face each other canceling any potential captaincy from them and I don’t think I want to trust Palmer with that responsibility just yet.

West Ham chose this game to fix the defensive issues that they have been having all season. The international break favored them. Isak started all hot; it looked like it was just a matter of time before he scored; he didn't. West Ham scored two and defeated Newcaste at home.

The fourth win in this league for Julen Lopetegui with West Ham. I hope they don't play this way in their next game against Arsenal.

Mediocre round for me, captains are my Achilles heel. I was choosing between Palmer and Isak - both ended with 2 points.
I'm captaining Bruno next, to hell with it. I know I'm a dumbass but it seems like a decent gamble.

Perfect showing of how strange this season has been so far  I was happy with my week, -8 in transfers and still didn't fall down the ranks. Should have taken -16 since my next 2 targets were Joa Pedro and Saka

Absolutely the same for me. In the past 4 gameweeks I missed making changes twice! Have to really admit that I got saved by pure luck, Gabriel in my defence has popped up, Porro was my saviour last week with 14 points, and he was actually subbed in because Konsa was injured -- to be fair, I would have made the sub myself had I remembered, but might have sold Konsa. Now I have the opportunity to see if he recovers.

Still, I would have brought Pedro and Saka in, so I might have had 15-20 extra points had I not been so careless.

Salah captaincy keeping me in the wings as usual.

As to what the hell the rest of you are doing, beats me haha. I think I had a really good squad right from the beginning. Bit my lips and took in both Haaland and Salah, and then only switched people out as they got injured or suspended. If I recall, the only person I let go because I didn't like him was Nkunku. DCL is going to be my next sacking. I love the guy and he's actually getting a lot of chances but FPL doesn't really reward industry on/off the ball if there's no end product.

Bruno was a distant consideration for me. But after seeing the shit he did with ETH -- pretending to be sorry and calling up the guy after he got sacked means nothing when you could clearly see him playing with much less than 100% -- I wonder if his best days are behind him. I would keep Palmer as captain if I had him and not Salah...

I don’t know if the Palmer bubble is also bursting as well but I’m sure we’ll see in due time, with how Man City have been conceding goals home and abroad, would it be crazy to actually consider keeping Mo’ Salah as captain for the next round ?

I don't think the defensive problems will go away. City have struggled to maintain clean sheets all season, and I don't think they will start against Liverpool. If Salah doesn't get a goal, he will have an assist. He is still a good choice to captain.

I think Arsenal will have an easier game against West Ham than Chelsea against Aston Villa and Liverpool certainly.
