Haaland is a ghost in this game, kinda saw it coming - wrote about it in the Challenge thread.
Still, had to captain him, I'm playing defense in the remaining few rounds.

My vice was DCL so Haaland can top it with 1 goal - would be nice if he does it considering that would keep me at a safe(r) distance from Trofo.

I knew this was going to be a difficult game for Manchester City, my best prediction was that it ends with Everton 0:1 Manchester City, maintaining the first half scoreline but no, Everton had other plans and they came blazing in the second half. They held off Haaland real good until he did manage to find that opening and get City a goal closer to an equalizer.

All thanks to the genius of J. Doku on the flanks, he wasn’t letting the defense keep him from having shots on target and took one right out the box.

Haaland rack it in as must of you would have expected and my gamble on Calvert-Lewin for captaincy did measure up after all. Gordon blanked but, I’m more than happy to have Senesi come off the bench and fill in for him with 14 points.

I guess Semenyo to Cherki/Doku is a sideways move I'll be strongly considering. I have the transfers, I need the funds and Cherki does look better overall.
The bad thing about it? I made fun of Trofo telling him 'hey man Cherki is killing you, I bet you make a sideways move' and then considering it 5 days later myself.

Yesterday, I was watching the Everton vs. City match after a hobby football game we played. A friend of mine started to question who this Semenyo is (he is more of a La Liga fan than an EPL fan). He said that while watching the last few games of City and Arsenal, he couldn't believe a player like him plays in the starting 11 for City. He called him slow, immobile, and stuff like that.

I can't say that he is wrong, but what has happened to him in a span of 10 games is truly awful. He was like a star player when he came from Bournemouth, scoring and assisting, and now all the magic has disappeared. How can that be? Is Guardiola perhaps to blame here?

GW 35 winner is NavidArt, and he got away with a big one, double the usual amount as announced previous GW. BB chip came in handy for him with 10 extra points but his main drawing force were Okafor and Senesi.

Semenyo stopped scoring and City started dropping points; all these happened from the moment I got him - unlucky guy. 

City midfielders are seasonal - early in the season was Reijnders then Foden to Semenyo and now Cherki; all of these train, I entered at their exit phase  Cherki is doing the Lord's work until I get in.

Semenyo is really my biggest regret.    He has been a disappointment for many weeks. I wish I had Cherki instead. Maybe he isn't also the most consistent player in the whole season.

But he is giving more hope with his game and definitely better than Semenyo lately. Anyway I'll wait for the end of the CL game tonight to decide on which Arsenal players are more sensible to be bought.

None of them were answered tonight - so still unsure what I'm about to do.

Not just you, Arsenal are the most tempting assets to have for the remainder of the season, but some moves just feel like a huge gamble, I've been thinking about Saka for a while, and eyeing him since he returned but how many 90 minutes would he gets in the remaining 3 matches, if none is it worth a -4 points ? I'm not going to over chase for the coming game week, I think and if necessary I'm just take a -4 only for another player with double games.

I have always viewed Cherki more as a play maker rather than an actual goal scorer, he’s really good at getting the ball into the box and making the necessary pass to create an assist than scoring the goals himself. He’s still worthy of consideration though.

I had hopes that my Senesi auto sub for Gordon will be a good boost, adding 14points to what I’ve got but the fact that I’m still at 16th on the league table, that’s just how bad the DGW affected me.

Palmer to Saka is very popular and it makes me sick because there are not too many differentials at the moment; Wilson is dead, Stach just returned from injury ( I mised him) and Rogers is back to his crappy level.

It's very difficult when your opponents are very consistent and there's no chips in sight.

Saka will be template - and I assume he'll play 70 or so per game at least - they will want to build his match fitness up before the CL final.
There are 2 other players that carry way more risk - and I'm almost certain I'll go for one of them and not play it super safe.

If I do these 2 transfers, then I have to keep Semenyo though - and I fear Cherki will outscore him. So a million things to consider.

No matter how credit is rightly given to Everton for the way they played to take a 3-1 lead (after being a goal down), I think it is fair to acknowledge the way Manchester City were playing even though they were two goals down. Somehow, thanks to Doku scoring twice they took a point and still have a chance to win the Premier League.

The points accumulated by Senesi helped a lot but I had Semenyo in my team instead of Doku and that was a mistake. I will make changes to the team before the next deadline and hope for a bigger score.

Spent all four transfers and maybe risked it a little with Saka replacing Palmer, and what I think is a wise swap between Cherki and Semenyo—who is playing more and more unrecognizable in my view. Triple Captain is a must this week as it will be the last double gameweek for anyone, I simply didn't know when to play it before, as I wasn't determined to use it, but now I must. I still have a dilemma: will it be O'Riley or Haaland. Surely City can have a clean sheet or maybe even 2.

Trofo on BSFL chat said 3x Arsenal 3x CP and 3x... something, I couldn't afford it. I've burned up my squad so fast and tranfer shit out so slow my budget keeps restricting my choices so I went 2x Arsenal and then kept my FTs. I'll save up for final matchday and see what the dice roll brings.

I'm wondering whom those 3x CP players would be I mean theses are players you'd get rid of after GW35 anyway - CP fixtures after GW35 are not good enough to trust 3x CP players in your team; it's Okay to gamble with 1 at most.

I wanted Gyökeres but Kai Havertz is going to eat into most of his minutes - not ideal
I wanted Saka too but he's getting 60mins max at most to get him energetic for CL final.

I want everyone this round; too many choices

I have still got my FT and somehow, I feel I ought to have used it over the previous GW because, I had my TC reserved for this week but, I haven’t got Haaland which would have remained my best choice. I am having a little difficulty in having to make my pick right now on what chip to use if I should use it at all. I have 3 City players already and 2FT which wouldn’t be enough to get someone out, get Haaland in and some Crystal Palace asset and balance off with my bankroll. Still considering options but, I suppose I have to swing it way before deadline.

No value in CP players at all, unless you have transfers to burn and are having a laugh.

Cherki probably won't play 90 per game - they have FA Cup final after the Palace game. Wasting a transfer to ditch Semenyo seems silly - class is permanent after all.

Calafiori - I am sure he starts but not sure whether he plays 57 or 70 min. Therefore a huge risk, especially because he might be rested in GW38.

A lot to think about - and the deadline is getting closer and closer.

Of course I am not taking 3xCP, that quote is taken out of context. I was answering the question about who is best for this week only, and answer was 3xCity, 3xBrighton, 3xArsenal, 3xCP. I was also talking whole chat how I don't think any of the first CP players will play more than 120mins in this GW. And if I would take one (so me who is chasing, not defending) it would have been Johnson. At this point of the season it is all about your goals.
