This is my biggest problem in Fantasy, I just can't.
I was patient and took it slow almost all season, was steady in top 5. I just knew something will go wrong the moment I switch captains and naturally, when I did Haaland scored 15 points.

Then again, cls63 did it twice with Foden and jumped like 20 places because of it. Maybe I just need to keep doing the risky (but smart) calls and my luck with these will turn eventually.

Last year I had a terrible season because I kept switching captaincy from Salah, looks like the history is repeating itself again.

Oh, I wish I knew for sure which choices are considered smart and correct  . My strategy is mostly retrospective. I look at who performed the best in the previous week and try to pick someone from those players. I understand that this is not the optimal approach, but it is my first time playing fantasy and I do not fully understand everything yet.

I think you are right about Mbeumo, he is simply not playing to the expected standard. The same applies to Fernandes, he also is suffering from a shocking loss of form. I think these are some of the players that need to be replaced in anybody has them in their teams.

I wouldn't even say would have deserve all 3 points tonight, the goal they scored came from almost nothing and fell kindly for Dalot who was able to wrongfoot Areola, but even then they couldn't manage the game properly and paid the price.

I'm not waiting another gameweek for Mbeumo, he's out of my team, I need to stop this rot before it goes deeper, I really can't wait for those 5 free transfers too, my team does need a surgical intervention.

It literally paid off in the biggest fashion probably the biggest leap in our league over just a period of 2 game weeks, he would have outscored me by close to 100 points over both weeks, If I'm not exaggerating.

It worked out fine for him, but while he won against the entire pool if it had bounced back on him, recovering against the entire pool would have been much more difficult, but it's a good risk to be honest, one which I don't think he'd have taken if he were in the top 3 position at that point, desperate times to the rescue, I guess.

I’ve missed out on doing any sort of transfer or arrangements with my team and while the GW13 wasn’t any favorable with me, GW14 on the other hand compensated for the previous. Had such terrible midfield, all of them amounted to nothing in points but, it was Crystal Palace’s defense to the rescue, with Munoz and Guehi bagging 14 points. Had Watkins on the bench and was a good substitute for Caicedo’s red card.

Could have added Foden to my squad if I only had the consciousness to look into my team during the midweek games.

I dont know who takes Foden over Haaland as captain but that was just pure luck and some insane points and i wish i did the same but never expected Foden to play now always,usually he is on the bench and now he is their main player. Cunha as triple captain is just insane,someone wanted to surprise and destroy everyone and that just didnt happen at all. But still over 50% of our pool got destroyed in last GW with tripling Haaland as a captain and it backfired really hard so i dont think that guy who captain Cunha is mad a lot.

Those are the punts that make or brake your season. And of course they are more viable if they are done when you are down the ranks. It is also the way you should play the game. Foden has had excellent minutes after GW4 and played well without returns, cls got him on time to cash on those returns while most of the players are always chasing past returns. Perfect example was buying Thiago before Arsenal. Yes, he is still a good option since most of Brentford attacks end op on him but most of his points came from penalties. That part will dry up for sure.

Aston Villa beat Arsenal today and Manchester City are currently winning against Sunderland. If Chelsea beat Bournemouth the top of the table will become very interesting.

I was so close to captaining Foden over Haaland this gameweek, but i stuck with the Norwegian. Wrong choice in hindsight. Both players have been substituted. Foden comes off with a goal and an assist. Erling Haaland comes off with nothing, lol.

I like to believe Foden is back to his form from two seasons ago. Goals and assists aplenty. So he is a must have right now, that is for sure. The only dilemma is when to captain him over Haaland, i guess that will ultimately come down to how lucky one can get.

Good thing you have 5 free transfers to do so. I am spending most of them immediately. Pope has ruined my rank a lot, he was poor and then he gets injured and Newcastle enters super easy games. Now I have to change him and have no idea who to take. Don't like a single GK this season but still want one that will get me some points.

He's fired blank in the last 6 six straight games he's played but he might be a necessary still when a huge amount of players leave for AFCON next week, there aren't too many options that get into the kind of position he gets, I might sell him too, but it won't be before the Man United, Burnley and Brentford matches.

I had my eyes setout for KDH this week as a budget friendly midfield option, but I didn't go for it instead, I chose to be more aggressive going for Gakpo instead, that's looking like huge blow back already, although, Gakpo could have had an assist and/or perhaps a goal too inside that first half but it didn't happen.

Foden is life man.    I'm so happy to have him for 2 weeks. First 17 points and today 12 points. I'm glad to have captained him to get 24 points from him. I wasn't expecting Haaland not to score though.

It looks like I did a good thing by not choosing him instead for captaincy. Finally made the right choice between Chalobah and Timber this time. I was really sick of regretting to choose Timber for the lineup for some time.

Although Erling Haaland is currently struggling to score, he remains the top scorer in the Premier League this season. However, Pep Guardiola's squad is remarkable. While his goal-scoring machine is struggling to get on the scoresheet, Manchester City still has other players who are also quite capable of scoring goals. Phil Foden's resurgence this season has made City's attack as sharp as we saw in 2023.

And at this time, Manchester City's position in the standings continues to loom over Arsenal, who are currently at the top of the table. Arsenal's defeat to Aston Villa last week has clearly made Arsenal's position at the top of the table precarious, with the gap now only two points to Man City. Will Arsenal be able to maintain their position at the top of the table, or will it only temporarily be held and handed over to Man City as in previous seasons?

Gakpo could have had an assist and/or perhaps a goal too inside that first half but it didn't happen.

Neither did it happen in the second half, before he was substituted. Hard to go with a Liverpool asset right now, Ekitike got two goals today, but who can be sure he would start the next game ahead of Isak, that is the problem. Their defenders are also bad options at this point, i have Virgil and i might take him out now that i have five free transfers to make.

Hard to tell now, there are still so many games to be played. The thing here is, City are yet to hit their A game yet, i think they are still somewhere around c or b. If they do hit their A game this season, then i have no doubt they will go on a famous run and win the title.

Chelsea, as expected, didn’t make an impact in the match against Bournemouth and didn’t make any effort to catch Arsenal like Villa and City did. But how did Everton end up in this position? They’re one point from a UCL spot — that would be something, seeing Everton play against PSG, Bayern, or Barcelona next year .

Arsenal have disappointed me in the last few games. I know they have some problems in defense, but still…
