I did not, I saved a transfer. I have a tricky feeling Arsenal does not win tomorrow - and then I want to be able to bring in Gyokeres for the Burnley game in case they need to hunt for goal difference.
Happy with my choices so far, even if Calafiori does score - he's a differential. Hinshelwood already did his part, I have Lacroix with 2 games to play as another one in my pursuit of 3rd place. I feel confident I'll be top 3 after the end of the round.

Then I'll have a decent squad and 2 extra transfers to carefully select my 3rd Arsenal player.

Another poor game from Semenyo, played the full 90 minutes, but didn't really do anything. No goals, no assist, and maybe Pep could drop him for the game against Palace. Cherki was also very poor today, one touch too many on most occasions, until Pep has enough. Too bad for managers that have the both of them.

Haaland saved the day for me today, with that goal and assist. I'm glad i made him captain again for this week, after a long time of rotating the armband.

I decided not to go for any Crystal Palace asset, I did just Palmer to Saka and Senesi to Gabriel, the later which I'm kind of hating right now with 8 points from Senesi, now I do feel like Arsenal might not keep a cleansheet tomorrow and I should have just saved that extra transfer then I would have been able to make proper decision on which Arsenal players I want for the final matches.

Cherki was a pandemic today, and I guess not having excess free transfers did save me on that one, and maybe Guardiola would make the job a complete one by leaving on the bench to against Crystal Palace.

I've always had my second triple captain in the bag, I didn't use it in back then in GW26 or which GW was it, I was already feeling terrible that's it was going to waste when Man City and Haaland just wouldn't get on the scoreboard, but in the end he got a goal and assist, while saving the hattrick for the Crystal Palace game.

This might just be my last chance at getting ahead and possibly something out of this season of the FPL. Haven’t missed on the previous DGW, I had to decide on what’s best on the chips to use this time and I settled on TC. Who better to give it to than Haaland.

It did cost me a -4 points though, just to get about enough for my bankroll and get Haaland in while making the needed transfers. Got Palmer out and didn’t regret it. Haaland with a goal and an assist paid off real good. Too bad I had Gravenberch on the bench even while I contemplated getting Fernandes on the bench, those 10 points would have being real useful.

I have always wanted to win a GW this season, but so far I have not been successful. I came close a few times (and lost out on a tiebreaker once). But now I really hope this will be my week. To my surprise, I have somehow ended up on 1.4m OR after being at 4m for a really long time. It is too bad that Szoboszlai could not get anything against this crappy Chelsea team (not that ours is much better), so it's going to come down to Gabriel and Bowen giving me a great gameweek, plus another Pep masterclass against Palace.

Who knows. If Haaland also gets a few more GA in that game, I might even clinch the most points in a season.

I was not tempted by Cherki but I already had Semenyo in the team and decided to keep him rather than pay a penalty with a points deduction by bringing in Doku as a replacement. Ever since I added Semenyo, he has not been performing well enough to accumulate a lot of points yet he was doing very well before I added him to my team. It is just another disappointment in a long line of errors on my part.

Bournemouth defenders are killing me. 2 clean sheets in a row - Senesi 22 points and Hill 16.
I feel that helped a lot of people keep their rankings and wasn't something we expected would happen.

Now I just hope Calafiori doesn't do something crazy today - and all of my decisions will be spot on. Glad I avoided the sideways move to Cherki but also not sure keeping Semenyo is the right call.

That something is obviously City, but don't listen to Trofo. No way he goes with 3 CP, he's playing you all.
No value in CP players at all, unless you have transfers to burn and are having a laugh.

1 is ok, we'll all probably have the same one. 2 is overkill but can work, 3 is insanity.

I actually would have gone all in if I had a lot of money but I'm shockingly bad at doing things right, selling injured and suspended players at deadline means I take a hit every price drop haha.

Of course I am not taking 3xCP, that quote is taken out of context. I was answering the question about who is best for this week only, and answer was 3xCity, 3xBrighton, 3xArsenal, 3xCP. I was also talking whole chat how I don't think any of the first CP players will play more than 120mins in this GW. And if I would take one (so me who is chasing, not defending) it would have been Johnson. At this point of the season it is all about your goals.

Ended up keeping all my City assets, and getting only Gyokores and Saka in (Saka anyway my auto pick whenever he is not injured). Risked playing my 2 Bournemouth guys, should have gone all three as they hauled.

Hill on my bench last game, I swapped him in and yeah, definitely did better than I should have. My poor Mitoma though, out on 59th minute and took a yellow, should have kept all my Bournemouth guys in for him (but I coughed up for him when he recovered from injury so thought why waste value on bench).

If there was Crystal Palace player that I was sure wouldn't start today, it was Ismaila Sarr, and he would have been my first guy, and I would have even easily gotten rid of Tavernier for him, now he started the game and is on the score sheet already, that one sting a bit, even a -4 for him right now would have been justified...  Every other option from Palace especially would have been a mess with cleensheet not an option against Everton, so I don't expect it to happen vs Man City either.

Very possible - my only target now is to make sure I finish ahead of the teams I made sidebets with and you're one of them. I've had series of bad luck in all the pools since last month; I always have this "near success syndrome" every season. I made too many mistakes and not getting a single Brighton assets on my WC was one.

Keeping Wilson and Anderson beyond the expected time was another mistake.

But it was really a foul though... Anyway I'm happy with my situation in the standings now. I might just regret buying Lacroix just because he is playing 2 games on the GW... Even against Everton he got only 1 point.

After accounting for the triple captain, I think he played one and was rested (or picked up a knock) for the second one…

This time around I just had to bring him in, the next match against Burnley was supposed to be the main target, but there are no other better options to go with for this round that’s why I decided to bring him in one match earlier.

In some seasons before, that goal would never have been cancelled. Things never went our way. We would have conceded in the final minutes, and that will be it. We have just been lucky this season; that is what just reassures me that this season is ours.

I performed really poorly in the FPL this season; I will take the compensation that my club wins the league
