Maybe we'll now see an interesting factor of players who have gained already 50+ points in 2 rounds and that will open up interesting strategies for them.
In addition, it's quite possible to see players gaining massively places even very late in Champions League (semi-final / final), when making 50 points in a single round is possible.
Looks like it, that pool B is much more volatile compared to Superbru.

Wow, that is a nice bet @slaman29! Really brave call, but a good one! It's the same again and again that it's so hard to pick one of the favorites we think could be beaten, but in hindsight it is often the same teams that screw it up. Good analysis and well deserved big time points!

Well, last time Leipzig and Man City met, Man City won 7-0, last season.  
And I believe Leipzig has good odds but beating Man City? Very difficult...

It is not that I am convinced this one works out, but I give it a shot because at home Leipzig is a different team and played the last game 1-1 against Manchester City with chances to win the game. They have also beaten Manchester City at home 2-1 in another Champions League meeting. And I was surprised to read that Manchester City hasn't won any of their last 7 games away from home I think.

Why is my points showing 18 which I got the first matchday with Porto,I just add Inter and put all the stakes to them yesterday morning for matchday 2 and it shows as 18 points when I should have 36 points.Is there any mistakes or not updated completely the table,I did my fill in of the google form yesterday morning so and it said success.

Nevertheless this shows that maybe some better options should be added to the way of how we enter our scores as I don't think I have made an error.

I did not bet on Inter I only staked all the points from the google form to Inter,you can see some several posts above of mine where I clearly say that I will stake everything on Inter this time before the game started.

If I made a mistake and forgot I don't want to be given the points in charity,just point out my mistake,I have forgotten and let's move on,I will recover I am pretty sure about it in the long run.

This is more of an 'against PSG' bet. They are horrible and struggling, Mbappe looks like he doesn't want to play at all and Newcastle is a really good and dangerous team used to high tempo games, playing their first home CL game in 20 years.
St James Park is a proper stadium, Newcastle's got a loud fanbase, it's gonna be a fantastic atmosphere. I feel Howe will know how to use it to make the best out of his team.

@slaman29 : damn whats with the odd 8 point stake, normally most people would probably go for around 2-5 stake on a game with 6.6 odds for sure. Well done on getting all those points and claiming the #1 spot for now mate

Honestly it's totally not my style at all but actually since beginning of this year I took different style bets inspired by guys like Slissy on Clubtalk and buwa on here, always posting crazy odds that as @mv1986 say in hindsight actually makes sense to pick teams always losing, but with amazing odds.

And I made great success in this way. My winning percentage maybe was 60-70%% in the past but I lost money because low odds. Now I win only like 15%? But the big odds pay off big time, I made more this year than ever before mainly because Real Madrid, PSG losing at high odds

For Galata I asked yesterday in fact about odds update because it was 7.2 when I checked but on PotB form it was 6.6!

However I became very surprised when I saw slaman29's 8-stake bet. I haven't still forgotten that you supported me in the BSFL. I'm also supporting you in this pool. I hope that you become the champion. By the way I said it before but will say it again. buwaytress, thank you very much for this format. I'm enjoying it incredibly much.

I really think it is. Slow and steady probably needs as much luck to get you there. If slaman29 didn't have a first bad round, it would already be tough to catch him in just 6 rounds in total unless some people adjust their strategy and also go for a Manchester United - Galatasaray like bet. I thought I would be brave with my 10 points on 4.9 Leipzig against Manchester City, but there you go, slaman29 got me covered!

I think Benfica - Salzburg in the first round must have been similar, but that game went in favor of Salzburg because Benfica had a an early red card 13' or so. But the game between ManU and Gala was on eye-level, which is pretty bad for ManU.

Maybe Icardi can now finally win the Champions League after leaving PSG!

I had my main pick as Arsenal, so would probably try to catch better odds in following rounds
Superbru is as bad this round, that I don't want even to look at it, almost all got different from my perspective (it was really hard to miss Bayern, so that is probably my only good pick)

Yup, no idea that he's playing at Real Madrid now.  I was hoping to see come back in the EPL someday.  But it looks like he went straight to one of the most likely destinations for the eatablished greats.  Kinda young to be given all that pressure tho.  So let's see how he develops.

And I'm looking at how much BVB snagged him for from Birmingham.  It's 30m EUR.  I guess if BVB pays that high for an 18 year old, unproven player, you know the guy has raw talent.  BVB has always had a knack for finding talent.

Manchester United still disappointing, a very bad start to a competition that they longed to play in, and they have lost their first two games. Ten Hag will not be fired because that is not the solution, Manchester United have a very poor defense that needs to improved on, and Onana the goalkeeper is not helping too, he needs to sit out a few games and the second choice Manchester United goalkeeper Tom Heaton who was very good in the preseason be used. Onana's loss of confidence is doing harm to the team.

I only had one exact score from the games yesterday and that was the PSV and Sevilla game, will possibly get more today.

Bayern and Real Madrid are the teams currently with six points in their groups, PSG, Manchester City and Barcelona will be aiming for the same results.

That’s some tough luck man! I mean Arsenal having the lead, and Man United having the as well, not just once, but twice and both teams lost the game, I had the intention of going all in on Arsenal prior but having watched Arteta gave Saka no rest against Bournemouth made me change my decision totally and would rather lose it all on upsets than a ~1.6 Odds favorite that I can’t vouch for.

I was wrong this time because of Arsenal's performance in the league. Lens is not in form in the league this year and that's why I expected Arsenal to win decisively away from home, even if it was difficult. They have a good squad under Arteta and they made a good start in the league. Lens, on the other hand, are having a bad season compared to last year and I didn't think they would be able to focus too much on the Champions League matches. That was the point that surprised me and Lens beat Arsenal 2-1 at home. Manchester United also needed to win this game to get out of the group, but Galatasaray surprised them.

Happy to read! And much of the quick sharing of results is also made possible by joker_josue's format, so I'm quite pleased MD2 was quick. I think leaderboard was ready 5 mins after end of games. Response submission sharing was a little slower as had to manually fix some entries.

Glad more people enjoying this! And precisely the objective. In Superbru, you could go for Galatasaray and at most be 3 points ahead of the pack. Unlucky and you earn 1 point (who picks 3-2 at Old Trafford?). That really discourages risk. In this format, the reward is a lot more akin to the risk, at least, I hope it reflects that!

The Leaderboard & Responses link opens an Excel sheet, with tabs below to navigate Leaderboard and Matchday results (refer screenshot below). First tab shows current leaderboard, updated automatically after I enter MD results. First column on each of those subsequent tabs is your MD totals.

The form isn't a questionnaire. It's simply a record of your picks. When you open up the submission form, there are instructions, please read them before answering so you're clear, but good to clarify.

1. Select the "Stake" checkbox if you want to pick that match to stake points on. As it says in the instructions, leave it unchecked if you want to skip the match.
2. Make your 1x2 pick.
3. Enter the points you want to stake.

You don't have to enter anything for matches you don't want to stake on, but we've not penalised anyone for this, so don't worry but next time, save yourself some time =)

You did make an error in your submission. But no problem. MD1, many users made this error.

That's how we know that it was the players who made Ten Hag popular as a manager. When he was at Ajax he had really star players and they were all so talented that maybe Ten Hag didn't need to say what he said. At Manchester United, I can say that this is exactly what happened. Especially after the transfer of Fred they started conceding more goals, that's a fact. Maybe the fans didn't even want Fred to be transferred but Ten Hag wanted to send him away. If Ten Hag continues to play a little bit worse, I don't think the management will last much longer.

For me it looks a bit strange that Antwerp is so clearly favoured against Shakhtar, I don't see their advantage. Especially considering their recent performance - 3 0:0 games in a row in Belgian league and getting completely destroyed by Barca few weeks ago.
Going with Barca, City and Atletico ML's. Borussia - Milan and Newcastle - PSG looks so difficultto predict, s, maybe it's worth to look for markets like BTTS or goals over there. Celtic - Lazio, usually I don't trust Scottish teams in Europe, but Lazio doesn't looks goodso far, so, I don't really know what to think about this game, probably I will skip it.

Thanks a lot mate.I was very sad to see today morning that I did not get the points,of course as I said I would have accepted whatever the outcome bu thanks a lot for making it valid.

Strange enough I am doing well in the pool too this year as last year I was in the last place during such early stage of the pool so things are changing for the better and I hope to continue this way for the whole season.

No worries next time I will put my submission following the complete instructions.

I'm glad to have had my stake on Shakhtar Donetsk but not all, I have the rest on PSG, however 6 points almost 4 Odds is enough for right now, especially with how the win came about, Shakhtar being 2 goals down at halftime and 3-2 up, but still conceded a penalty with what would have been the last kick of the game, thankfully Toby Alderweireld couldn't convert the chance.
