Hahah, pot B was extra fun to do this time. I'm 36th overall, sitting on 3.60 points, literally got nothing to lose. It was only a matter of 'let's find 5+ odds that don't seem entirely crazy'.

There is one club I'm eyeing for a 0-0 draw, let's see how close I'll get with it. Everything in Pot B is a bonus for me now.

Maybe you and Trofo's BSFL experience agrees... I'm spending a lot more consideration picking the markets out and trying to find a mix between "crazy" and "not so entirely crazy" odds.

Then I spend all of 10 seconds making my own picks based on a feeling.

Maybe I will stop moaning about the new league stage format if LFC are lifting the trophy at The Allianz Arena on 31/5/25.

I'll definitely stop moaning at some point, look forward to that point on 31st May as you say! Man, 7 whole months away if we make it there. Slot would be short of legendary if he pulls that off haha.

By the way: where do you get odds for all outcomes? All from bookies? For example, total over 6.5 in the Barcelona - Bayern game with odds of 9.5 seems to me to be a completely unattractive choice. It seems to me that in order for this outcome to be considered as suitable for selection, it must be no less than 15.

I'm currently regretting going for Arsenal Under 3.5, I made my picks last week and I really can't remember might thought process to have arrived at that decision.

Damn Monaco game missed by one goal as I had over 6.5 goals for them in Pot B, I thought Red Star Belgrade would do better than that, they were totally ashamed there from the French team which honestly is not top notch and has not a huge quality difference against the team they smashed tonight. I had also Milan like that as I am going for over a big amount of goals in Pot B, it is either first or last for me this season, most probably last as I see only 0 points in the MD2 and most likely this MD3 is gonna end up like that as the other games I don't trust much despite me going for over a big amount of goals.

At least they are coming good for bets, for people who bet on money lines or over 1.5-2.5 goals so far the games of tonight, I hope the big teams continue the trend and I see some bet wins as in the pool I already most likely screwed up.

Considering the current situation (1 shot each in 20 minutes)  Arsenal under 3.5 might not be bad bet at all.

Don't let performances in first round fool you, as while Monaco is not top notch team, they are still noticeably stronger than Red Star, which they showed tonight.

It looks exactly like a dejavu compared to the game of Stuttgart yet I find it very difficult for Real to turn things around like they did on last game against Stuttgart. They, Real are never a reliable team if you are to bet on them and I find it strange the odd of 1.55 for them to win at home against Dortmund which is also not in top form in their domestic league, it is a much different team compared to the final of 2024 Champions League. Let's see what happens in the second half yet I am not optimistic at all and I got and choose a 4.30 as a draw and bet on this odd.

Real is a great team to bet on, you just have to choose the timing. By the way, their win in the Champions League last year brought me 600 dollars, I can't complain.
The most deceiving team is Dortmund, so now is the time to bet on Real Madrid to win. Although the odds of 5.1 are not that good, Dortmund win is estimated at 1.59 (lol no one believes in them).

Obviously, odds shift in the week following, but I don't change anything. Up to the player to use this to their advantage =)

Bloody Hell... you're right, I didn't have any picks at all! But I swear I remember doing them as soon as I put the questions up, alongside Superbru. I could have sworn I dumped all my points in for a BVB upset, and generous Overs... But you're right, I, the master of deception, finally deceived myself. It turns you’re right after all, and I made the right call, Lol! If given the opportunity I might have changed that pick, most likely not for the Over though, but for another option.

I already tired to repeat it every season, but Real is just made for Champions league. Another huge comeback against big team and amazing win.
PSG - PSV,  not surprised about such outcome, result reflects game, even tough PSV played to defend positive result most of time. But that decision not to award penalty for PSG in very end looks questionable.
Didn't watched Juventus - Stuttgart, but from stats it looked that Stuttgart dominated playing away. And seems that red killed Juve - missed Stuttgart penalty and then Toure goal and Stuutgart takes 3 points in Italy
Expected a bit more confident Arsenal win vs Shakhtar, they missed penalty what didn't let to answer all questions a bit earlier. But who cares, 1:0 win is still 3 points and that's most important. Though, on last minutes only great Raya saved didn't let to make score 1:1

Today I was very close to striking a jack pot in Monaco match, I picked over 6.5 goals in the match and final result was 5:1.
I wanted to take a lot of goals on Real vs Dortmund but I opted for another match
Big surprise for me today in CL was Juventus losing from Stuttgart

Somebody tell me that sport isn't rigged, you can't simply because it is rigged to the core. The PSG team is living proof of this, how can they with the names they have in the team playing at their home stadium in front of their fans not beat PSV Eindhoven which is a good team yeah but nowhere near the level of PSG. This says enough about nowadays mechanisms that make you lose money even with odds like 1.13 to 1.29 in sport betting which are considered relatively easy to catch especially in football. No offence but have you seen Juventus results lately? 1-0 and 0-0 in most of their games and they hardly score. By half time, Stuttgart had over 8 shots on target and Juventus had 0. I don't know how they managed to be at 3rd position in Seria A because they only score 1 goal in most pf their games and defend like their life depends on it.

Lost all my bets today thanks to PSG, Arsenal and of course  Juventus!
