Not bad result for me after all, and I got more points than I hoped to get after wasting some stakes for nothing.
22.05 points was not enough to get me on higher position but with 212.90 points I am not far from the top or from cryptofrka Mafia.
Next week we have another round of Champions League, and this is when I attack with full force.

I guess I am worse of the worse in the pool right now with 3 consecutive almost 0 points and now there is a -72 points in brackets which I assume will hit me hard if I don't get any points again from the staked 6 points available to all of us. Yeah you can wait till Monday so glad that we have another match day this very next week so let's have fun now trying to get that yellow cap as the only thing available to play for. I know now that people who are doing good are placing their stake at relatively low odds so they are not getting any penalty at all, I got for the biggest odds and the result was this catastrophic 3 almost 0 points consecutive match days.

Arsenal were rated at 5.0 heading into this round. By the way, does anyone think that City being in 3rd place is some kind of nonsense? It's clear that the group stage is a warm-up game, but City also look unconvincing in the Premier League. If City are so high, then why aren't Chelsea, Newcastle, Tottenham close or at least at the same level as Liverpool?

They maybe consider that Manchester City has more experience in UEFA Champions League than some other clubs and with Pep Guardiola, he will be able to lead Manchester City to top 8 even with not too good conditions now.

Only one more match day, the last day in league phase, we will know which clubs finish in top 8 and whether bookmakers are right with their given odds to Manchester City.

We might never know everything behind bookmakers and their operations as well as decisions, while we can not control what will be done by head coaches and players on the pitch. Pep Guardiola is a coach with habit of making weird changes and choices in important matches so we can not exclude any weird decisions he will do for Manchester City in the last match.

Short answer yes. The points you earn are after penalty deduction. I believe in your case the "0" is actually a negative number. You earned fewer points in MD6 than the penalty applied. I'll message joker_josue to show the negative score here. Guess we didn't foresee this scenario. The total score shows the cumulative points you lost from penalties. The MD score shows your nett points for that particular MD.

It will get even better in the next upgrade so you'll understand better.

I learn it the hard way but penalty is a bitch here and its reducted from your TOTAL score and applied to the all upcoming rounds. Since its applied to every upcoming rounds even if you dont have penalty on that round, its basically stripping your ability to win the free bets especially when the numbers get bigger

In the end, the total number of points reduction will still be the same by the end of the competition e.g if you have 10% penalty then the whole number of points reducted throughout the entire competition will be still 10% based on your total score in the end

edit : did a rough calculation I guess its way more, not sure and Im having headache crunching this numbers lol but atleast I got it right on the 1st part of my explanation

They performed strongly in the group stage but as a team they don't really impress me like they do the others this season.

They play boring but they have rock solid defense and they can score goals and win, that is what counts.
 I dont think they are winning Champions League this season, my favorite is Bayern.

Haaland forgot to tell them what it was like there? IIRC Norway also didn't like VAR and stopped using it, maybe without VAR Manchester City and other teams who feel the favor of video have less edge.

Just one little question, maybe im missunderstanding the rules or is an error, but aside of my shit round i "collect" 8 points from normal outcome, why is displayed 0? Im not against the penalty since i miss everysingle one shot from my 6 points allocated, but i dont have to be that 8 points added?

Or if i dont get any maverick or bonus points i dont get that points?

Don't worry, you can ask again. It has been explained, but I understand that it doesn't make immediate sense when looking at the tables, especially if you don't collect enough points to overcome penalties. It is just the way the table can't display a negative score for the particular MD, which can happen if the points you collect for that round are fewer than the penalty incurred.


So in your case, you ended MD6 with 144 points. In MD7, you collected 8 points from score predictions, and 0 points from stakes. This brought your total to 152. However, a previous penalty and MD7 penalty (for 0 points from stake) means you have 2x 5% penalties.

This took you down to the 136 points you see as your total.

Without complicating things, there are a couple of display errors... including the "0" which should be a negative, but the final points total is correct.

joker_josue is aware but since the total is correct, we'll implement the display changes for the next edition.
- MD totals will show precise gross points
- penalties will display precise points lost
- Nett totals will show gross minus penalties
