I submitted my predictions without much thinking but I think I made some mistakes with corners 
I didnt expect such easy win for Sporting, and my favorite underdog team Bodo/Glimt has finally finished their Champions League dream.

Now we know Real Madrid is playing against Bayern, and Sporting is playing against Arsenal in quarter-finals.
Maybe tomorrow we are going to see one big surprise, and I am not talking about Bayern or Atletico Madrid

Totally unacceptable round of football- this is not the champions league we used to know; these are the scorelines we see in the Europa league. Can't wait to unwatch this round, it's total eyesores.

My thoughts about Sporting - Bod/Glimt didn't aged badly. I saw it as only pair where comeback is possible and Sporting made it. 5:0 on second leg, 5:3 on aggregate and damn, I haven't seen such dominance for a while, Bodo had no chance to survive, it didn't even looked that they can send game to extra time. Strange feeling, we saw one of biggest comebacks in recent seasons what is amazing, but there is sad feeling to see end of incredible underdog journey.
Arsenal did wha they were supposed to do, while there is nothing to tell about remaining 2 games - everything was decided week ago.

Anyway back to business, Barca just need to win, simple as that. And if we don't, then we don't deserve to be in, simple as that.

Real Madrid started at 4.5 and now over 5.4x to win, what is going on guys?

Barcelona should go through, I don’t see Newcastle being able to withstand the atmosphere at Camp Nou.

That is weird on the Real game though, those odds seem way too generous. I’m not sure if they’ll win on the night but they will definitely go to the 1/4 finals.

Dammit I knew I should have threw all my money at Real lol Such generous odds and apparently some places were 6.4x just as the game started (I actually woke up and was considering until my wisdom took over and went back to sleep).

I'm not worried about Liverpool and Barca. They should win by the will of their fans and their players, home crowd backing!

Strange tho that both home English favourites could not score multiple goals.

So... once again City were big favourites and were playing the game of the season... but for Real it was just another Tuesday and they won again 
What will be the script for the next season? Some flu will deprive Real of their entire squad before the game against City, and they'll have to play with players from the Fabrica. The odds for Real to win will be 100+... but Real will still win  Pep will say again that games with Real are not a problem, the problem was Klopp and "we will be back next season." I'm already tired of this series.

I underestimated Sporting last night, what a performance by them. Feel sad for Bodo but it is what it is, they couldn’t have asked for a better situation to be in after to 1st leg so only themselves to blame. No surprises elsewhere last night, all as expected in my opinion.

Its another pithole for me. I knew it taking the corners would be a very bad idea.

Bodo/Glimt got dominated and yeah I was kinda expecting that so its just dumb of me to expect they will have higher number of corners against Sporting but Real Madrid should have gotten more corners especially against 10 players . There it is, another penalty to close up the rounds for me and to kiss goodbye to the top spot

For me away goals rule was one of biggest nonsense in football and I was so happy when it was removed.

I guess we are on different sides but I think it is about the attitude,,, they made the away goal because teams who played away were always cautious and defending but today it is a modern era the away goal would not make sense who knows

Fuck i went big on the Manchester City Real Madrid game and i comeback with empty hadns sadly for me, when  i saw the red card for the Manchester City i knew the over 5.5 goals was cooked unless a miracle happened.

Now im on the risk of a penalty i hope Liverpool scores a few goals to not make me have an even worst round.

Looking at the lineup, I'm actually scared for Barcelona in the midfield and defense, if Newcastle were to repeat the same level of performance they had a week ago and Barcelona doesn't turn up their performance too, it could definitely be the end of the road for Barcelona.

Just that Newcastle also have a huge variance between when they are at their best and when they're not, and it's all going to depend on which version of them we see today.

The injury list keeps getting bigger for Barcelona and I don't know where the team goes from here, even after they've qualified for the quarter finals, and still in the lead in La liga, it's not going to be easy to keep playing tough matches with a depleted squad. I hope they guys will return before the CL quarterfinals, if not, I fear for them.

I don't remember the details between Barcelona and Bayern Munich regarding Lewandowski, but I don't think that's the reason he's being subbed off, lol. The second half was completely different. Newcastle seemed powerless against the hosts, hoping for a comeback from when behind to Barcelona, ​​but it didn't happen, instead, Barcelona easily added another goal.

I'm with my padi Igebotz... the aggregate scorelines are a reminder of how broken UEFA is.

That's 8, 4, 10, 6, 11, 12, 5, 12 goals each tie. Liverpool even got robbed a couple of goals from very pointless disallows. I looked at shots on target stats too and it was silly.

This is an abberation that, while pleasing to the spectator, should be a warning sign.

Getting massacred and honestly felt like top 2 is safe when we reached the knockouts, it all went to shit in games in which you don't expect it to.

I put a lot of Over 2.5s in the last 2 rounds and thought I would be stressed. Everything passed relatively easily. This is not the way knockout games are typically approached... there was not a single team that played cautiously.

When you watch Sporting’s game yesterday, you would wonder what happened on the first leg, just how come they allowed Bodo to dominate them that much and they couldn’t get a goal out of it. In this second leg, they were certainly out to settle the scores and Bodo couldn’t get a single goal, not even a good chance to pose an attacking threat. Sporting completely dominated the match and at the end, they got to advance.

Barcelona 7:2 Newcastle today was one hell of a game. I was surprised how much fight Newcastle was putting up in the first half although, I remained confident that Barcelona would win but, an over 8.5 in that fixture, Barcelona scoring over 7 goals, that was a knockout punch.

Damn, if I'm not mistaken it's biggeest ever Newcastle loss in Europe. At halftime when score was 3:2 nobody didn't saw such scenario coming. I wasn't even confident that we will progress to the next round and wow how things ended
Liverpool today showed completely different face than we saw week ago. Even despite wasted Salah penalty they didn't had much trouble today. Galatasaray disappointed me. I guess Osimhen injury played big role tonight that affected them.
Respect to Spurs for attempt to make comeback. Yes, they didn't managed, but at least it wasn't shame like on 1st leg.
How to summarize this round for me? Not great, not terrible. From now there isn't many games remaining, so, changing positions is getting more difficult.
