I underestimated Sporting last night, what a performance by them. Feel sad for Bodo but it is what it is, they couldn’t have asked for a better situation to be in after to 1st leg so only themselves to blame. No surprises elsewhere last night, all as expected in my opinion.

When you watch Sporting’s game yesterday, you would wonder what happened on the first leg, just how come they allowed Bodo to dominate them that much and they couldn’t get a goal out of it. In this second leg, they were certainly out to settle the scores and Bodo couldn’t get a single goal, not even a good chance to pose an attacking threat. Sporting completely dominated the match and at the end, they got to advance.

Barcelona 7:2 Newcastle today was one hell of a game. I was surprised how much fight Newcastle was putting up in the first half although, I remained confident that Barcelona would win but, an over 8.5 in that fixture, Barcelona scoring over 7 goals, that was a knockout punch.

Watching all the highlights later this weekend, and saving the Barca game for a replay but I'm so totally in love with my team, this game is one of those examples where I have to rethink my considerations about falling out of love of football lol

I was always confident of a win but if I was watching and we were 2-2, I would be having some doubts. But you know our gameplan... we will just keep trying to score no matter what.

About Bodo, what a big shame. Were they just blunt? I'm surprised a team like that didn't even get good chances as Sporting must have been very open.

Another bad round for me, and I am not moving up the table even after making risky predictions.
It was close in winning a more points than just 7.7 but I needed one more goal in Bayern vs Atalanta match.
I was honestly surprised how easy Barcelona and Liverpool won their matches.

Damn, if I'm not mistaken it's biggeest ever Newcastle loss in Europe. At halftime when score was 3:2 nobody didn't saw such scenario coming. I wasn't even confident that we will progress to the next round and wow how things ended
Liverpool today showed completely different face than we saw week ago. Even despite wasted Salah penalty they didn't had much trouble today. Galatasaray disappointed me. I guess Osimhen injury played big role tonight that affected them.
Respect to Spurs for attempt to make comeback. Yes, they didn't managed, but at least it wasn't shame like on 1st leg.
How to summarize this round for me? Not great, not terrible. From now there isn't many games remaining, so, changing positions is getting more difficult.

Galatasaray are a complete disaster away, although they play very decently at home.
Tottenham's performance may have been good (I didn't watch the game or check the stats) but after the first game it was more of a friendly than a serious game.

By the way, Italy lost its 5th ticket to the Champions League and now the favorites in the fight for the top 2 (England will definitely remain in 1st place) are Spain:

Germany is close, but it's one club against three... (in the Europa League and Conference League it seems to be equal, but they weigh less), so it's unlikely that anything will change.

I cannot complain about last night,,, congrats to Atletico Madrid, everyone and myself knew we were not going to continue our adventure in Champions League but we won our game

First win under this manager and a much needed 3 goals scored and I think this time nobody walked out of the stadium because we showed a proper fight.

You know something's not as it should be when picks like 4-2, 5-2 and 4-1 are winning you bonus points in the CL knockout games.
Still, should have been more careful - I had a feeling there's no chance that none out of 7 risky picks would hit.

This penalty will hurt me a lot and I dropped from 2nd to 6th, I already counted on this money and now I'll have to fight for it

I avoided the penalty for the round but.... at what cost? I mean i get a very low ammount of points and that is a total shit for my goals of climbing positions, the only ""good"" thing in the round is to see mafia boy who was bragging in the past rounds getting a penalty but that doesnt change anything for me. 

Other thing i want to point out is how good HH does in this competition seems like the risk factor suits well for him.

I had my sights on Atletico Madrid to give me a draw and most corners but, they chose to commit a penalty at the last minute and also conceived a corner and I lost both ways on it. Those could have being some boost into the top 10 for me.

I kind of chanced on that under 11.5 corners for Bayern Munich vs Atalanta. I thought they really did not need to be so intense in the second leg as they had it wrapped up in the first leg.

The penalty part can be annoying but it's honestly the most interesting rules to keep the game more competitive - I've taken that more anyone else I could remember. 

I don't know how buwaytress manages to get the right questions for every round. Nobody knows what to expect in the next round, but we only know it's going to be tougher than the previous - it's a " get it right" or wait for next season for me.

As someone who has been playing and taking risk all my time in this pool, all I can say is, it doesn't work 98% of the time  best time getting anything from this pool is from the group phase.

The penalty part can be annoying but it's honestly the most interesting rules to keep the game more competitive - I've taken that more anyone else I could remember.  

It might work, but only for those at the top. Once you've received a penalty or two, you can't get back on track. So, it's safe to say that penalties work against most competitors.
That's why I'd like to see something wilder next season, where everyone can truly compete to the very end and determine their risk levels. I think there shouldn't be any penalties, and players should be able to bet not only the points they get each round, but also the ones they've accumulated.

P.S. I checked the leaderboard and was surprised to see that the participants in 2nd and 3rd places had penalties, but nevertheless, my opinion remains.
