In fact, what we saw yesterday makes it clear that it seems that Milan is clearly not ready for the finals, that is, if they somehow make it to the finals (which I highly doubt), they will definitely lose it. Having said that, it is going to be a pretty difficult mountain for AC Milan to climb, to come back from two goals down means they have to be impeccable (and that's something i've not seen from them this season), i think it is Inter that would go through, chances are pretty high that they'd even win the second leg as well.

Truthfully it could have ended differently in the Milan - Inter match. I mean Milan also found some important chances to score. But their main problem was with shots on target. Because they had only 2 shots on target in the whole 90 minutes. Inter had 3 more than them though but they were at least very effective in making use of those chances. They just looked for finishing the job early as they got 2-0 ahead in the first 10 minutes.

If Milan didn't get that much of a shocking start maybe things would have been different. One of the chances Milan got was really a critical one. Tonali took a great shot but the ball returned from the goal post. Leao was absent maybe but this was still not the Milan I was expecting to see. Their job is going to be pretty hard in the rematch.

The first 20 minutes that made everything look messy for Ac milan, because two goals came from 8 and 11 minutes making ac milan not in a good enough situation especially they were very fragile in terms of defense, even the goal from dzeko didn't get a good guard from the line  the ac milan defense which made the game even more chaotic after inter milan took the lead quickly.

This defeat made it even more difficult for AC Milan to compete in the second leg later because it would make it difficult for them to chase 2 goals. but the chance is still there but I'm pessimistic they can do it if their game is like the first leg. Dzeko became an important actor for Inter Milan in this match, he was able to ignite the enthusiasm of his players to play more aggressively.

I think it was basically just not getting warmed up to the game at first, players were just getting their game going and then got scored twice in a row, that is definitely a terrible situation for them. But then they couldn't get any better neither, many positions Inter just missed their chances as well, this game could have ended 4 or 5 goals to none as well and Milan just got lucky in some cases, so we should definitely consider them lucky in this situation as well.

I know that they are doing their best and that's a good thing but that doesn't mean that they are going to end up with a win. Inter could end up getting the finals this way if they keep it going, or more basically if Milan keeps being like this than Inter will go up.

For the second leg everything should be a more fierce match. Because Ac Milan should be more able to measure Inter Milan's strength after they lost in the first leg.

In the first leg, especially in the first half, we clearly saw how Ac Milan's players seemed mentally unprepared in the early minutes. so their defense became completely weak. and this allowed Inter Milan to freely build attacks and score 2 goals. but in the second half we saw Ac Milan getting better and adapting to Inter Milan's pattern of play.

Milan did not show the game with high standard games they were very chaotic so Inter immediately punished at the beginning of the first half. For the second leg no longer hope for Milan, Simone Inzaghi will lock the results of today's match and will not provide room for his rivals. I made sure Inter was able to set foot in Istanbul.

You can consider all you know but it doesn't stop the fact that both teams are not equal in strerngth and strategy, there is no way you will look into two teams and you will come with a conclusion that the two of them are equal, one will either lack strength, be weak at defending, may lack accurate ball passing and may have zero off target or no attempt at all but that is not the end for AC Milan, we have seen teams almost give up in the first leg in a tournament but biunce back strongly in the second half who knows, if they put there self together and were avle to work on their last weakness, the second leg may be in their favour.

That doesn't count towards not getting properly warmed up. They had the rest of the game to be more prepared or warned up hut they couldn't do nothing until the final whistle. There have been teams that faced similar scenario in the EPL and they came back to equalize the game and not from a 2 goals down like we had in AC Milan 0:2 Inter Milan. This was a lofty 3 goals difference for Tottenham and Liverpool but, they were unlucky as the Richarlison equalizer wasn't left to last way goo ling. Arsenal and West Ham United had there own episode with a 2 goals but, West Ham United was able to end the game in a draw as well.

AC Milan not being able to get a goal out of the game just shows how poorly prepared they were and I didn't 3xpect them to beat Inter any ways. Still, I expected a good game from teams that have history that goes way back.

Leg 2 Man city is indeed a favorite because they are playing at home, Real Madrid has the burden of maintaining the UCL title. But Man city is still on fire for the new champion. From the history of the last 4 meetings between Manchester City vs Real Madrid at the Etihad Stadium:

The chances of the two teams are still 50:50. Anything can still happen in the second leg later.

I am sure that in leg 2 Simone Inzaghi will definitely play reactive by playing waiting for a counter attack because he is already 2-0 up. Simone Inzaghi will play with a standard formation when in possession of the ball 3-5-1-1 (5-4-1 when losing the ball or when defending) the same way when he brought Lazio to the supercoppa and supercoppa championships with Inter as sober players. Because it must be admitted that Simone Inzaghi is one of the specialist coaches in competition championships.

We have seen the fact that Ac Milan was not very strong in the first leg and the final result proved that Inter Milan was better than them. Indeed the second half Ac Milan played better than the first half but their efforts were fruitless and had to give up at home with a score of 0-2. AC Milan hope in the second leg will be quite small considering that Inter Milan will play quite carefully in the second leg later.

Maignan was quite difficult to secure the goal in the first leg, I admit he is a pretty good goalkeeper owned by Ac Milan, but the poor defense of Ac Milan made Maignan unable to do much in the early minutes.  For Inter Milan, this victory was quite profitable for them because they were able to maintain their winning trend against AC Milan.

That is the impression many had for that game but it didn't turned out to be so. Milan still have enough chances to qualify to the final if they can do a come back when playing their second leg game against Inter Milan. What I expected in the first leg could as well be what will be played in the second leg. The league of champions is full of uncertainty and great hopes. I hope this match plays out well and interesting as the first leg match between Manchester City and Real Madrid. If they played out so, it will be an interesting semifinal to watch.

Yes, they really experienced depression and very high pressure at the start of the match, because they were already behind 0 - 2 from Inter. And even their focus was really disturbed. I was expecting an entertaining and intense game between these two clubs, but Inter's early two goals have made the game appear one-sided, with great pressure on Milan despite conceding two early goals. Milan had 0 shots on target, whereas Inter had 11 shots, three of which were on target. Milan must seize control of this game before it is too late; if the two-goal lead lasts until the end of the first half, I expect them to come prepared for a better second half to balance the game.

And now the first half will end and the score is still 0-2 in favor of Inter Milan.

I also hope that in the second half at least Ac Milan can play better. At the moment, another problem for Ac Milan is that they are too weak in possession and too many missed passes or poor passing accuracy are also another additional problem. They are always too quick to lose the ball. Maybe they need a new strategy for the second half later.

I don't even know what motivation that owned by intermilan but simeone inzaghi has been successfully bringing intermilan to the semi final of UCL. It's only one step closer to the final of UCL this season. that's a very amazing result for simeone inzaghi. It will be far better if intermilan will also able to get trophy this season. that's gonna be a great achievement by lukaku and his team.

I think it is difficult to draw a conclusion here yet. Inter hasn't faced one of the big teams during the knockout stage. I believe that we would have seen different results if they had to play against a team like Real Madrid or Manchester City. Now against Milan it looked easy, but Milan was also missing their most important player Leao. I new that if he is not going to play, the whole Milan game will lose so many facets in terms of speed, surprise moments, many options that the Milan game usually needs to keep the opponent busy. In this game Inter could almost do whatever they wanted because Milan didn't have the means to really threaten them inside their box.

Yesterday's match was a showcase of Inter's outstanding performance, which should have resulted in more than just 2 goals scored. Despite Milan's superior ball possession, Inter managed to create more chances. In the second leg, Milan will face a daunting challenge and their chances of overcoming the aggregate deficit are slim. I'm looking forward to the second leg because it's bound to be an emotional match, with AC Milan playing all-out.

With this in mind, there's a strong chance that Inter and Man City will meet in the final.

The 2 quick goals scored by Inter Milan, at least it has shaken the mentality of the AC Milan players. It even took quite a long for Milan to find their rhythm. AC Milan played better in the second half and they actually had some good chances but it's a shame they couldn't take advantage of all of these opportunities. Milan still has a chance because there is still the Second Leg and it is very likely that Rafael Leao will be able to return to playing.
