So many big teams have been performing so bad during the last season. that's why the are all placed in the europa league and the only best team from last season that would be able to enter in the champion league. In my opinion there was no a big change in the europa league, the only thing that has become the main concern must be about more big team from champion league was coming to the europa league as they were not able to go to the last 16 caused by they got eliminated by having the worst performance.
There's no need to call the level of europa league become even better caused by it's always the same in any season.

Europe League is not excited level depend with Barcelona as bigger team and last window transfer spent much money for signing many star player label, I don't think fans excited to watch with Europe League games because last season when Barcelona playing home on second leg against with Frankfurt all their fans sell ticket to Frankfurt fans. This is true only if we are talking about top clubs. For everyone else, any title is important. Even the Conference League - remember how Roma fans and Mourinho himself were happy to win last season? That is why, year after year, we see that the "big" clubs mostly lose to the smaller ones, as these small clubs have the maximum motivation, and the top clubs are more likely to think about the national championship and the Champions League next year.
