After watching how Barcelona played today, I have to say that Barcelona is a regular thing right now that we have too much expectations from due to their past glory. This present Barcelona team are very unlike the Barcelona thing we used to know that plays tic-tac football. There is nothing really special about their play and they are just lucky that the competition in the Spanish league is not so much else If it was like the EPL, they will not be in top four. I am very disappointed with how Barcelona played, Brentford from the EPL on a good day will defeat this Barcelona team with the way they are presently.

Barcelona has been on a regular team grade by me for some time now and indeed yes,  i think Brentford can actually defeat them on a good day.  My shock tonight was even the Manchester United side that has evolve so well into playing with one team spirit. The first half of the game was kinda poor for united but erik ten hang had his homework done in the second half. Defensively splendid and attackling poor from Barcelona but as faith would have it, Manchester United came victorious and they really deserved their victory.

Manchester United success in defeating Barcelona cannot be separated from Erik ten Hag intelligence in strategizing. UCL must become even more difficult for barcelona compared with the match against MU. Glad to see that MU was sending back barcelona again to the domestic level.

Even though the start under Ten Hag was not good, MU was then able to get up and raise the level in every competition. The rise of this german team union Berlin is something to look out for. Union Berlin has so surprised me this season, with their recent upgrade into the football scene. They have been a really strong team this season, they actually top the German bundesliga for some days before Bayern Munich took over and now they have been causing shock waves in the their own league by defeating the top teams like Leipzig and now they conquer the famous dutch champions Ajax tonight, they are currently looking very hungry and their next opponent in the Europa League should just watch out for this union Berlin team.

Berlin may be potentially to win europa league. It was able defeating ajax with decent scores. I would not be surprised that if this club was also underrated club in europa league. Seeing how consistent berlin in bundesliga makes me believe if berlin is one of strongest candidate to win europa league right now. Ajax was showing disappointed result against berlin. Some clubs that gone down from UCL must be losing against clubs that were participating in the europa league.

That proves that if clubs in europa league are also very strong at this moment. It's pretty much the same like manchester united was defeating barcelona even though mu defeat it with small score but that's enough to prove that if the club europa league has capability to be even better from the club that has ever participated in the group qualified of UCl.

Juventus defeats Nantes 3-0 (4-1 on aggregate) and advances to the round of 16 of the Europa League thanks to a hat-trick from Angel Di Maria. The Bianconeri got off to the perfect start, and Di Maria's magic feet brought good for the old lady. Nantes was unable to make a danger with only 10 men.

Franck Kessie made a very simple mistake in Manchester United's first goal. I think Barcelona could have set the pace of the match better if it hadn't been for that mistake and goal. Franck Kessie's mistake affected the fate of the match. Also, Bruno Fernandes may have committed a clear foul in the position in Manchester United's second goal. For me the match was not boring because the two teams took turns to attack each other in the first half, but for the second half to be honest the second half of the match could be controlled and or mastered well by Manchester United.

This match was still exciting because both teams kept looking for opportunities but yes, in the end Manchester United deserved to advance to the next round because Erik ten Hag managed to come up with a good strategy for Manchester United. Also, at least this victory also proves that Erik ten Hag can break up bad results when Manchester United play against Barcelona.

As for joining the group of hell in the UEFA Champions League and having to play Manchester United after the draw in the UEFA European League, for us it was just a coincidence. Getting back to the glory days is certainly not easy and takes a lot of time.
The two teams that played last night are a good example. Barcelona are in a slump in European competition and will have a chance to rediscover themselves next season as their attempt with Xavi in the UEFA European League also stalled in the round of 32 after drawing at Camp Nou and losing at Old Trafford.

The performance from barcelona can be categorized as good enough but it's not even enough to win europa league. Glad to see that MU was making barcelona out from europa league. What people said about barcelona would win europa league easily was not true
