I personally believe that Sevilla will not have the ambition to be able to score goals in the second leg later. After all, in the previous match when Sevilla played against PSV, in fact, in the second leg, Sevilla did not make a big effort to score a goal. Every other match that Manchester United will play in the Europa League. They are going to win all their matches to the final. This is because some of the good players will have enough time to play in the Europa League.

The first leg of the Juventus vs Freiburg matchup was pretty interesting. I mean there was a balance when it comes to ball possession. But when it comes to the number of goal attempts there was a huge difference. Juventus just didn't even let Freiburg have a couple of opportunities against themselves. Freiburg had only 1 goal attempt which was against 20 by Juventus.

But despite this domination the final score was still only 1-0. It isn't over for Freiburg as a result. But they will need to make a huge improvement in the rematch. If they can't play their own game home then it wouldn't be difficult for Juventus to eliminate them. I'm sticking with Arsenal as the favorite for now. By far the most stable team of all remaining teams in this league. Yes, they had a hard time against Sporting, but they could have won that match. And Juventus is certainly not there yet either, they achieved a 1-0 victory in the home game at Rennes, but that is of course not convincing at all. Juventus could well be eliminated I think. And then we have United. they have of course taken a big step towards the quarter-finals with the 4-1 victory, I don't see Real Betis winning 3 or 4-0 against United at home. And then let's see what the draw will bring us next week.

With Pogba picking another injury today , I'm a bit afraid for Juve too but this club is so big that it might be carry by the name and fans into the next round of Europe League. Freiburg is having a great run in Bundesliga but like you said , Juve scored an away goal and that will count a lot. Anyway , still some days until game and some changes might happen into Juve squad once again... .

Juventus has a stronger chance to qualify for the next round compared to Freiburg.  a 1-0 advantage is indeed not too safe for Juventus considering that the second leg will be played at home to Freiburg. Indeed, Sticker Juventus is having trouble scoring goals as happened to Vlahovic where he failed to score in several matches. Apart from that, you have to look at the quantity of teams and their experience in prestigious leagues. Juventus is a big team full of achievements, even for this season they deserve to be counted as the strongest team in the Europa league.

Di Maria became a savior in the first leg because one goal was able to lead Juventus to victory in the first leg.  the second leg match will take place this week i think juventus will save their energy for the match against freiburg.

Juventus actually still has a very strong team. It may be called a miracle that they have actually performed so poorly. You should be able to beat Rennes much more easily at home. 1-0 is a minimal lead and the strangest things can happen in an away game. I haven't looked at the odds for the bookmaker's eventual winner, but it could well fall in Arsenal's direction if they go through. And a lot will depend on the draw of the quarterfinals, there are also significantly less good teams, I think it is an open draw, which means that everyone can be drawn against each other. Then you could also have United - Juventus. I don't think they've played against each other in a long time.

Yes that is what they have clearly demonstrated in today's away game as well. Manchester City is creating pressure for them, but they are playing their game as if there was no pressure for them. Odegaard also has come a long way and knows how to take control over the game and then even score himself. He wasn't a scorer for quite some time, but that has changed and now he has a high number of assists and even scored 10 times this season so far.

If they continue like this then we are going to see a very successful Arsenal this season and it is actually not conceivable how Arsenal can be beaten at home by Sporting Lissabon. They are just too stable at the moment.

Arteta is doing a great job although his start wasn't quite the best. Now they are a team that belongs to the top favorites in both competitions.

Their attacking style of play and how clinical they are in front of goal since the start of the season is magical and I think it is the reason why some people are rooting for them to win the Europa League this season. However, I don't see Arsenal as the favourite team that should be winning the Europa League at the end of the season. Arsenal are more concerned in the domestic league than the European second tier cup and that's why I think either of Juventus or Manchester United will win the Europa League.

In my opinion, the two teams that have the greatest chance of winning the Europa League are Juventus and Sevilla. I would put them even above United, simply because neither of those teams will achieve a CL qualifying place in Serie A/LaLiga, so they have to win the UEL if they are to play in the CL next season. Their motivation to win this tournament is much higher than for example United.

Even though Juventus and Sevilla are unlikely to qualify for the Champions League in their respective leagues next season, they must demonstrate in the Europa League that they can compete for the league title this season. The fact that they did will not qualify for the Champions League does not guarantee that they will show the same expertise and zeal in the field of play to win the Europa league title

Right, right now Arteta's priority is more focused on the Premier League. like it or not, Arsenal must remain consistent and get full points in every game. fortunately, Arsenal succeeded in overthrowing Fulham with a landslide score. which in the end, Arsenal was able to widen the distance from City by a difference of 5 points. the good news, G.Jesus has recovered from his injury and he has been played again by Arteta even though he is still the second line-up player. at least, Arsenal have many options for the front line. 

So, Arteta can share his focus when his team hosts Sporting in the second leg later.  I'm sure Arsenal will perform optimally when they host Sporting in the second leg later. after all, the Gunners were playing as the home team. on paper, the Gunners have a high probability of winning the fight versus Sporting Lisbon.
In the next match, Arsenal can maintain consistency when hosting Crystal Palace in the domestic league. after that, the Gunners had the opportunity to get some rest to re-fit their stamina.

Well I would agree that Arsenal's focus is still on the Premier League because that is the title you are thriving for as a team that hasn't won anything for so long and it is also their daily business with the highest relevance.

But the closer they now get to the Europa League final, the more they will also focus on the Europa League as well. It is just such a fierce competition in the Premier League that they know they can't afford to lose focus there even for a second. Nobody had them on their list before the season and now they are winning and winning game after game. Not because they are lucky, but because they play amazing soccer.

But as I said the excitement in the Europa League will only be growing from here and a final in the Europa League is probably as amazing for them as would be a final game day in the Premier League were it is all about the title. It is good though that they still have those two competitions because it keeps you focused. If the breaks are too long between games that might not even be helpful to stay at their maximum level.

Any clubs that participated in the europa league have the same chances until they will have meed one each other. The main concern is if some clubs like MU and arsenal were the most favorites club in EPL. MU has more than enough to be able to get a spot in the last 8. Another team like arsenal still needs to make sure if it can be qualified for the next round.

Remember that we have some strong clubs that can't be underestimated like juventus, as roma and some bundesliga clubs as well. These clubs potentially to be very hard competitors for candidate from EPL.
I think that all of candidates from al liga will be eliminated during the next leg.

From four teams that you predict as favorite team, in my opinion only Man United already holds a ticket to the next round, the other teams are still uncertain, like Juventus who have to play away with only 1 goal advantage as well as Roma who will play away but they better with 2 goals ahead but Arsenal are a little different even though they will play at the Emirates Stadium they still have to fight hard for tickets to the next round, but surprises are always possible even teams that are not counted as favourites to advanced to the next round.

That's true of course but there is no guarantee that Manchester City won't lose any points. Recently it wasn't like they are winning everyone of their games by a big margin. Sometimes yes, and now it was a penalty that decided about the win.

Manchester City is as hard under pressure as is Arsenal right now, but you are right that they should not lose easy points along the way now. There isn't much room for error, but that's the same situation for Manchester City. But Man City has one joker and that is the game at home against Arsenal by the end of April. Until then Arsenal has to try and keep going.
