The most comfortable matchup seems to be for Leverkusen in this stage. However it is still not an easy one on one hand.

Because Union Berlin were the team being eliminated by Royale Union SG in the previous stage. I was expecting the opposite to happen honestly. Now Royale Union SG will face another German team and they should be fully ready for this challenge. Besides Leverkusen's position in the Bundesliga isn't even better than Union Berlin. Well many players are heading towards their National team to give them their all. One player that still surprises me is Cristiano Ronaldo. Seeing him in the Portuguese squad give me goose bumps.

You're seeing how football can give you a surprise anytime. People have expected some clubs like barcelona to be among the favorites to win the competition but they just go back to the camp nou even early compared with other clubs as well as arsenal.

In total, Sampaoli was in charge for 31 games; 13 wins, 6 draws and 12 losses. In the Copa del Rey they were beaten by Osasuna, but Sampaoli did negotiate their way past PSV Eindhoven and Fenerbahce in the Europa League, where they now face Manchester United. At least those head-to-head results show that Sporting Lisbon are not weak and they are fully able to make another surprise against another Premier League club.

After seeing Sevilla defeat PSV by 4 goals in the Europa league, my confidence in Sevilla was raised so the sack was unexpected, probably he was sacked for not doing so well in the La Liga. I hope the new manager will be able to improve the team especially to defeat Manchester United in the Europa league match up.

Sevilla's management was seeing the result in europa league as not as important in la liga. Sevilla may possibly go back again to the relegation zone. That was making the management feel worried about that. going to the relegation zone is much scarier for the management compared with playing in the europa league. In my opinion, the current prediction for the European league champions is quite difficult to predict after the elimination of Barcelona and Arsenal in the competition. From the start, many predicted that there would be several strong candidates to become champions, such as Barcelona, Arsenal, Manchester United. But now it will be even more difficult considering that all teams have the quality to compete with other strong teams. If you look at these odds, I'm pretty sure that Manchester United is the only candidate to win the European league this season, for Juventus I think they have a slight chance but it's very small and for Roma I don't think they deserve to be the top candidate for the championship, I think they still better Sporting or Leverkusen.
