Sporting proved something great against Arsenal but I think they were just lucky at the penalty stage. Meanwhile against Juventus, I think Sporting just won't be the favourites.

You can say it was a luck factor only, but they can't win the penalty shootout if they have bad shooters (bad players).
So, it simply showed that Sporting has a good squad and they used a good tactic. That's a logical reason why they can eliminate Arsenal in the previous round. If Sporting has bad players, there will be no penalty shootout, Arsenal may win the match in normal time. 

I may have underestimated Sporting at this stage as I tend to believe Juventus are the better team.

It is debatable to claim which team is better. Juventus isn't in its best form anymore, the current good form in Serie A can't guarantee they will play well in Europa League as well. Sporting simply showed that they play well in Europa League, they proved it by eliminating Arsenal (the favorite team). If we compare Juventus and Arsenal, Arsenal is indeed better in league matches. So, since Sporting was able to defeat Arsenal, in theory they should be easier to beat Juventus.

But, we can't guess the title by calculate like that, MU maybe is very strong because was able to defeat a solid club like Barcelona, but in fact a club like Sporting was able to beat a strong premier club like Arsenal. And, Of course with this fact, sporting also have a chance because Arsenal ever beat MU 3-2.

But we can ignore all that calculation because when we look the odds below, MU is very favorite behind Juventus and Roma.

I don't think Arsenal are the favorite team in the Europa League, and Arsenal's elimination from the Europa League in my opinion is not something strange. Maybe they consider Arsenal to be at the top of the English Premier League, so they favor Arsenal but for me, that really isn't used as a benchmark.

If you are trying to go back in the previous pages and there are bunch of people in here said that arsenal was among the most favorite clubs to win europa league but it's not even meet what is already expected to be a tough team in the europa league. Arsenal must accept the truth if sporting is far better compared with it. The gunners can't accept the lose but yeah that's the truth that already happened. You can't deny that as a team that was leading EPL and almost all of people said arsenal would be winning europa league easily.
It can also be seen from the winner's odd if arsenal has become a club with the small odds in europa league to be a candidate as a winner for this season.

Also on several occasions I have thought about Manchester United and also Juventus, and even though Manchester United this season lost heavily 7-0 by Liverpool in the Premier League. But still, for me it won't have a bad impact on Manchester United in the Europa League. Because basically Erik ten Hag has succeeded in restoring Manchester United's performance for the better, so that Manchester United's chance of advancing to the European League final is still possible.

MU was placed in second place and juventus is even lower than it. 7-0 didn't matter a lot for MU to play better in europa league compared with another team. Ten hag was able to make the performance from MU quite stable when it was playing in different competition other than EPL.
That's why tenhag got so much appreciation from the MU fans regarding what he has done for MU. Losing liverpool with huge scores like that was actually unacceptable but what can we do? It's only past story.

Hm the odds are interesting but when you think about it, what would you actually criticize? Should Juventus be less, perhaps something around 4.5? I think that Manchester United is the favorite, although the gap between them and Juventus is too big. Roma is probably put at the same as Juventus because they have the "easier" way to go when they win against Feyenoord.

Generally I think the draw is a bit unlucky because in a worst case scenario the final does not sound as spectacular as I would wish for. It's fine if the best teams win, but when the draws pre-determine that big teams must get kicked out because they face each other, I am not sure I like that a lot.

But in other ways, this could also be a surprise again, especially for the Europa League, there are always some surprises that often occur if you look at the previous season.
Juventus' current condition is the same as Arsenal's previous condition which was the favorite, but that is not a real guarantee either for them to win easily.

I think Juventus will be one of the teams that will make the Europa league competition even more interesting because of the uniqueness they are facing right now. Judging from the quality of the two teams, of course Juventus has a squad filled with several well-known players who have the best quality on the field. Juventus have Di Maria, Vlahovic and Pobga on the front line but this trio has not been able to show their aggressiveness this season because among the three of them Pogba has had to be absent for a long time due to an injury that has come to him.

Di Maria performed well in the Europa League because in the 3 matches he played, Di Maria was able to contribute 4 goals which made Juventus advance to the quarter-finals. For the first leg, Juventus will allegedly win because they are playing at home. allegri must be able to bring a trophy for juventus this season maybe the europa league is the target.

My favorite team to win the Europa league this season is Juventus, i know that manchester united are very strong but i don't feel they will win it. Juventus started playing really well after 15 points was deducted from them in the seria A, their good form has taken them a little bit up in the table, but i don't think it would be enough for them to qualify for the champions league. So this Europa league is like their only chance to qualify for the champions league next season, so i think Juventus are going give this tournament everything they have, and i feel they are going to win it.

The recent performance of Juventus is raising serious concern about the favorite team to lift the Europa league trophy but looking at the teams left in the competition, Juventus is one of the good teams there that are in good form and yes a lot of people see them as the favorite to win the trophy because that may be the only way for them to the Champions league next season. Wirh eight teams left in the tournament, Juventus and Manchester United are the favorite teams to win the Europa but regardless of the performance of both Manchester United a d Juventus other teams can shock them with good performance and they won't win again .

Mu will be focusing to beat what people called that as king of UCL which was having poor performances in la liga while MU is starting to climb up even higher in english premier league. Juventus is also doing the same thing with MU but im amaze about how the sanction didn't even make juventus's player to give up. Juventus was just performing even better than before.

Can we take it slow, one step at a time please, as much as i want to see Manchester United winning the Europa League, I still have some doubts not until they finally defeat Sevilla from the Competition.
They've currently had three meetings and yet, Manchester United haven't been able to win against Sevilla,  I'm a bit positive with the experience and tactics of Erik Ten Hag, but I'd wait to see if it'll be so. Off course Yes! But I'll keep anticipating for the triumph of Manchester United.

Juventus has had a bad season even with the point deducted from them, they've held on so tight, they have to win something to save dramatic season they've already had.

I don't see Sevilla as a huge threat to Manchester United now. Because there is no reason for me to believe that while Sevilla are having a terrible season. I understand they have made progress in the Europa League but I can't say they even deserved to be in this stage. If Fenerbahce were a little more capable Sevilla would have been out of the tournament already by now. But Manchester United must be preparing for doing the thing Fenerbahce couldn't against Sevilla.

I just expect Manchester United to destroy them by a nice goal gap in Old Trafford and finish the job already just as they did the same against Betis there.

Against Arsenal I would say Sporting got lucky in both legs. In the second leg once they grabbed the equalizer Arsenal weren’t that experienced to get back into the game. But a similar pattern might not work against Juventus because they are more experienced. This is the only competition left for Juventus to fight for and winning it will grant them automatic qualification to next years champions league. But juventus have a problem also and it is the recent pattern of playing around Dimaria. Without him they get lost. If he should get injured or Sporting finds a way to mark him out of the game it will create problem for Juventus and sporting could easily dump them out

The match in Portugal is very important.  If Sporting Lisbon gets an advantageous score there, the rematch will be tough for Juventus.  We know that Sporting played successful matches in defense.  They eliminated Arsenal, they can also knock out Juventus.  That's why Juventus have to be very careful.

Juventus and Manchester United will not be able to meet in the final. It is possible that if they pass from the quarter-finals, they will immediately meet in the semifinals, this is based on the chart that Uefa has set in yesterday's draw for the quarter-finals.

I predict that Juventus and United will win the UEL this season. In terms of players and experience, these two teams are better prepared to go to the championship ladder. The Red Devils have proven their capacity from the group phase to the knockout stages. Manchester United did revert their season very great from early bad to middle super good parts of the season. Now the season is coming to its ending and they are fighting in some cups with hope that they will win some titles and end in top four of Premier League. They are stronger than Sevilla and have better form but they will not have break time in mid of weeks with their fixture.

They will have to pay attention on Bruno Fernandez who is their source of creativeness and key passes. He usually get exhausted when a season comes to its final phase. Ten Hag must consider to give him 10 to 15 minutes resting time when the club has good results.
