I have enjoyed watching every World Cup in football for the last 30 years or so.
After the 1986 World Cup and Maradona, I thought no one would be able to top it, but then other great football stars came along like Ronaldo and Ronaldinho and later Messi and Ronaldo. It is the natural course of life, some leave, others come. I am sure that at the next World Cup we will see new football stars and enjoy great football again  
Mbappe will surely be a big star at the next few world cups, and I'm sure that Neymar has not yet said his last word in the Brazilian national team.

But if you are a true football fan then you will really miss Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. The next World Cup will bring new stars but the living football wizards like Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo will be nowhere to be found. And you can never equate Neymar and Mbappe with Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo

Yes it is true that we are going to miss Messi and Ronaldo for there great achievement and we hope to see new players that is going to dominate that position soon. The world cup is one of the bigger football competition in the world and seeing that we are going to miss these two players is a big absence in the history of football so far. There are players that are coming up and is going to replace them when the time comes. They have really occupied many of the big position and therefore there tenure is elapsing for a similar good athletes that can replace them.

As far as I know, only Cristiano Ronaldo who have expressed that Euro 2024 might be his last dance but now that he's with Al Nassr, we're not sure what will be his plans in the future as Al Nassr expressed that they might extend Ronaldo's contract if he still wanted to play but I think it's already unlikely since he will be over 40 years old by the time his present contract ends. But for Messi, latest speculation is that he will be with the team in the upcoming World Cup because they are the defending champion and that will be likely his last dance.

But I am still not sure whether Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi will play the next World Cup or not? However I personally see no chance of Cristiano Ronaldo playing, but Lionel Messi as the reigning World Cup champion captain may have some chance of playing if he is able to perform exceptionally well at the clubs. In fact, for me, the World Cup would not be complete without living legends like Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

As for Messi, I think I read his statement somewhere that he still wants to play for the Argentinian national team, so it is not impossible that we will see both Ronaldo and Messi again at the next World Cup.

You are right, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are the two most likely to play the next World Cup so far. However, fans are very skeptical about how Cristiano Ronaldo will perform in the next World Cup. On the other hand, Lionel Messi is not able to match himself in PSG. However, whether these two players perform or not, everything will be fine if they are on the World Cup field, the World Cup will be worthwhile.

I understand that some countries may have some different rules than others, but one thing that is surely the case for every single nation in the entire world is the simple fact that when you get maybe millions, if not at least tens of or hundreds of thousands of people into a nation to just have fun, there is bound to be some trouble.

It's not even just about drinking, although that does make it harder of course because of what it does, but even if there are zero drinking, if you bring in 100k+ people together to just have fun, there will be some case of chaos, and you have to control that very carefully. So each nation that hosts, should spend the most money on security without a doubt.

They will always come and go.

Indonesia supports Palestine and they don't even have diplomatic relations with Israel. They didn't want Israel to come to this competition (idiots lol) and of course in the end they were denied the championship. It would be very strange if FIFA banned Israel because of the inadequate requirements of another country. The most moronic situation - what were they thinking in Indonesia when they wanted to host this competition? They thought that they themselves would distribute permits to participate in it?

I read some of the information circulating and it is very regrettable that this problem occurred and FIFA's decision was taken due to the refusal actions of several Indonesian government officials and incidents like this should not have happened because Indonesia's chances of participating in the U20 world cup failed due to political and diplomatic issues.
I don't know what their purpose is to reject Israel, what is clear is that this is a big loss for Indonesia in the development of football.

I don't see that much of an issue with standard stuff like minor crimes, a bit of drug dealing and so on. That's something that is going to happen, but isn't a serious danger. When you have a World Cup taking place in three different countries, the spending on security is going to be intense. The last thing you want is terrorists pulling off a successful attack and a World Cup can always be a target.

You can end up heavily intoxicated by only drinking beer.

You are probably thinking of 0.5% instead of 5%. Even bread or soy sauce, etc, can have up to 0.5% or so of alcohol, but that's not enough to make you drunk.

I mean sometimes someone who drinks beer finishes a few bottles without feeling drunk, but especially women who drink 1 bottle of beer already feel dizzy and drunk.

It's good to know that the Qatar world cup was peaceful and there were no issues related to alcohol consumption. Maybe other countries can learn from Qatar's rules and implement similar ones to control alcohol consumption and prevent any issues during the events.

I don't know for sure whether they are still playing in the World Cup or not, because we all know that previously many speculated that the Qatar World Cup would be the last World Cup for Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. I think there is a difference between people and their sizes as well. For example many people think that it is sexist to say that women can get drunk quicker, well obviously if you compare a guy who rarely drinks vs a girl who constantly drinks, the girl will last longer.

But if you take a girl who never drinks and a guy who never drinks, the guy has a size advantage most of the time, when you imagine a girl and a guy, you imagine a guy being bigger most of the time ,that's the average size comparison. So if you are a tall heavy bodybuilder guy, drinking a few beers will do nothing to you, like drinking water, but if you a tiny person, like 4'11 or something with 100lbs weight, then I am sorry but even 2 beers could get you drunk.

I was in charge of the world cup, I would allow foreigners to have the beverages they like, honestly. It is okey muslin people have their culture and traditions, but we also have and it would be good if we could respect each other's decisions, and the commerce of beer could actually bring more people towards events held in countries where there majority are muslin.

I agree with you, Silberman. Ronaldo and Messi may have been perfect players and they did shine as stars, but as they age, their performance may decline.

Messi chances of participating are probably higher since he was the captain of the winning side in 2022.
