I don't think continent matters that much. Brazilian football team is filled with star players, even their bench can be another team that can hit World Cups. But they have general issues with Latin Americans. Lack of motivation or dedication. Football is fun game for Brazil not like its competition. Consider Argentina, they started so bad in this year's world cup but that motivated them to fix their issues in later matches. Brazil will be part of this World cup and gonna pass to next round(s) for sure but they need some push to warn them so they can compete better.

I don't quite share your analysis when you say that soccer is not like a competition for them but more about fun. One doesn't rule out the other and frankly speaking, international soccer tournaments mean the world to Latin American teams and fans. I agree that Brazil seems to have some issues with their dedication and motivation, but Argentina is the perfect example for a team that played as if it was about their lives. They really gave it all and so did Morocco and the Morocco fans.

What's true is that continents don't matter as much anymore because soccer has become very globalized. It matters less where you are born because scouting has increased so much and you can always make it to the strongest leagues in the world. But if you want to compete on the highest level, the continent to go to is still Europe because they have the best coaching infrastructures and the most money that is spent on the sport.

Majority of brazil players are playing for big clubs, I get surprised sometimes why majority of players in Brazil team have good quality.  Their pattern of football is quite different from other teams, but it was so unfortunate that the Brazil team didn't show much effort in the concluded world cup competition.

Good players alone cannot guarantee good performance. There are other factors that affects players or a team's performance. The technical crew is extremely important because these quality players have to coordinated to achieve success. The football organizing body of the country also contribute to the success of the team. The have to ensure that the club start preparing early and have access to both material and financial resources. We have had issues in my country where players have to protest before they are paid their match allowances. Qualified medical and conflict management experts should also be part of the team.

It's really an incredible team, almost every player is at top level, they just were a bit unlucky this time. The champions, Argentina, also lost a match, against Saudi Arabia, but they were lucky it happened at the stage level.

Their population is 5 times larger when compared to other countries such as Argentina and Colombia. If we look on a per capita basis, then I would say that Argentina is more talented than Brazil. But as a result of their huge population, in the end it is Brazil which dominates.

Messi stated that if they won the world cup of 2022, a thing they did, then he will do all what he can to play the world cup of 2026, I consider Messi a man of his word so I really think he will do what he can to preserve his level of skill and his physical capabilities as much as possible so he can fulfill his promise, now it is true that no matter how well he takes care of himself it will not be the same but he could still be a difference maker even then.

And that's what I'm holding to, he is indeed a man of his words and surely he won't do any unnecessary move that will disappoint his mother land after the statement he did. We can refer to Arsenal, Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Manchester City. and the most prominent is Arsenal and United, how their system is run in accordance with the instructions that have been implemented. even though they only have players who don't have big stars, the fact is that they can compete with big clubs who have star-studded teams.

The system does play a major role and it doesn't necessarily mean that you are either defensive or offensive, it can also mean both for as long as all players understand what to in which situation.

When Maradona became the coach in 2008 for Argentina, I thought it is not a good idea because even when he was such a good player, I never a team on the pitch that seemed to have a plan, an idea of what to do and how to play.

But many of the systems are not so distinct from each other. The first time when I saw something that was brand new was the tiki taka by Fc Barcelona. And guess what, when Guardiola took on the manager role at Fc Barcelona in 2008, the Spanish national team also won the EURO in 2008, the World Cup in 2010 and the EURO in 2012. For all those years nobody knew how to crack the tiki taka system. It was so impressive, until it wasn't anymore. Opponents study the system and then counter it.

That is why coaches with a strong understanding for strategy and positioning are so important.

I think when you have a team like Brazil, there is no doubt that they have many strong individual players, but they do have trouble recently to build a strong formation that knows what to do. I think that also has to do with the coaches they had.

That is why I think France will still be a favorite in 2026 as their team has many young talented players who already play on the highest level and Dechamps will still be the coach in 2026. Yesterday, there was a statement made by Lionel Scaloni on the possibility of Lionel Messi playing for Argentina in the 2026 World Cup. According to Scaloni, it is up to Messi to take that decision. If he wants to play in FIFA 2026, then he will be allowed to do so. Scaloni also made a comment regarding one of the most promising Argentine players right now, Giovanni Simeone. The last time he played for Argentina was back in 2018, but had a very good season with Napoli recently (after a short stint with Hellas Verona).
