In fact, I really don't think any other country can host the FIFA World Cup with as much money as Qatar. I think Qatar World Cup will be remembered forever in the history pages. But it can be hoped that we will see something new in the next World Cup.

My hope is also like that where there will be other countries that can be like Qatar at the next world cup to make the world cup very luxurious and spectacular because in the history of the world cup Qatar is the only country capable of being the best host in the history of the world cup.

I bet the hosts of the upcoming World Cup is now busy for the preparations as well as the FIFA council to make the most grandeur and best World Cup the world has ever seen. And yes, lots of time and they don't have to be hasty so that they can avoid some errors that they will regret in the future and the fact that the Qatar has made some good examples and errors, that will be the basis of the next world cup so that it will not happen again.

Most of all, it will be the most comfortable world cup because USA is known to be a free country and the audience can fully enjoy the games without any prohibitions like soda/alcoholic drinks or some foods because that was the downside of the recent World Cup but we can't blame that if they prohibit it as they have different culture in that specific country.

Qatar has taken some very great decisions which never happened before.

Well, in paper, the recent World Cup that happened in Qatar was indeed really extravagant but that's just expected because the country is so rich that they are almost got problems how to waste their money but how about what happened behind the scenes? The ones that are not shown in television or any media outlet because I highly doubt that it's still that great knowing that a lot of workers that worked so hard for that event has been violated especially the migrant workers.

Yes, they succeeded in making the World Cup held in Qatar leave a good impression. They are very serious about being a good home year, after they were appointed as the country to be the host. The preparations they did were not playing games and they even spent very, very fantastic costs from the start of preparation until the World Cup ended. Indeed, there were some pros and cons regarding the policy there, but I saw that it was a very natural thing when the biggest football party in the world was held. In the end they managed to become a successful host of the World Cup yesterday.

When you consider just the football aspect of it, that becomes something that is true that Qatar did as well as hoped for. However, what they have emposed to people as "respect our culture" was the way people are, not how they live, not their hobby, not their fans, not their spare times, it was WHO they are.

Remember, there were gay fans of these nations that felt threatened by the fact that Qatar bans being gay, imagine saying something like this in the west, you can't ban anyone from being who they are, you can even ban them from drinking booze, I mean just don't drink for a while and they even let that, but normally banned, but this is who they are, journalists, maybe a few players, fans, how could they feel safe? I don't know what you are talking about. Qatar 2022 was marred by many controversies and scandals. Tickets were overpriced, LGBT and unmarried couples were discriminated against, and alcoholic beverages were banned at the last minute without prior warning. Qatar just wanted to showoff their petro-wealth, and I guess they managed to do that. I found the 2018 FIFA World Cup much better organized, compared to the 2022 edition. And to be very frank, I would say that 2022 edition was one of the worst ever since I started watching football.

Well, I guess you already knew that Qatar is a Muslim country and things like alcohol, nudity or LGBT are not allowed in that country. The sporting events must follow the traditions of the country and people should not complain if they do have all the freedom which they would have had if this football event was held in any Western country.

However, on social media, I did see some nudity in the stadium which was very disturbing to watch being a Muslim. The police were very tolerant not to take action against them. As far as ticket pricing is concerned, I am not aware if it was overpriced but then if this tournament was held in the US, would the price would be less, I guess not.

Whenever you enter another country you must know about the rules of the country, in some countries it is allowed to use drugs and alcohol or they won't have hatred rules about nudity but in some other countries especially the Muslin countries like Qatar they won't allow people and these are all crimes and police can get arrested for it, I think FIFA made a bad decision to make a Muslim country hosting a world cup that's why people who visited this county were not happy about the rules.

But then two days before the kickoff, they changed the rule and told that alcohol will be strictly prohibited except for those who hold the most expensive tier tickets. Ah, that explains why I didn't see people drinking alcohol in the stadium yet read that it was allowed. Only the top tier tickets had access to it. I guess that's how they're used to making things over there, money talks.

It has nothing to do with Qatar being a Muslim country. If you have money, then you can do whatever you want in that country. Beer and other alcoholic drinks were permitted for some of the fans, who had top tier tickets, but two days before the kickoff it was announced that such drinks will be prohibited for the rest. I would rather blame FIFA for this fiasco. It was their responsibility to make sure that fans are being treated well. Well, it is known that the soccer World Cup has been held since 1930, this is a great tradition, it is something that must be maintained, no matter what is believed, the exciting thing about all this is that this great event is celebrated every 4 years, I If I want more countries that have never gone to a World Cup to do so in the next one, it's the first time that 3 countries will organize it,it seems perfect to me, it's something new, if Qatar is new, what these 3 countries are doing is something that I like it even more, you know more things and their culture.

If you care so much about tradition, then you may restrict the FIFA Football World Cup to just 13 participants and 3 confederations. Tradition can't be maintained everytime. Situation needs to change according to time. Back in 1930, there were only a few dozen independent nations. Most of the African continent was under the control of colonial powers, so was South and Southeast Asia. In order to maintain the tradition, you need to ask these countries to represent under the flag of their colonial master, which is illogical.

I don't know about others, but I am finding club football quite boring nowadays. On the other hand, World Cup is where you will find a lot of diversity and representation from all around the world. In simple terms, it is having the same quality as club football (or even better) without the greed for money. And further more, the team bonding and cohesion is much better when compared to league football, as the players are motivated by patriotism and not by money. Even the fans behave well in world cup, when compared to the leagues.

But I don't remember World Cup football that way. At least not since 2000, because from that date I started checking some statistics and looked at some information from all the final tournaments. America is a large country, logistically it is quite a job to arrange all this properly. As a player, it is also absolutely not nice to have to travel everywhere. As a player I would not like to stay in Mexico, you often hear stories from the criminal world there, you have to be able to feel safe as a player in an area where you play football.

That's the difference between leagues and world cups ,when  a team is involved in game via patriotism and are connected with fans of their countries that's a whole new feeling and vibe .
Similarly league football is totally about shallow things the players even are not connected and you can feel the distant behaviour of players even in the game .

That's the difference between leagues and world cups ,when  a team is involved in game via patriotism and are connected with fans of their countries that's a whole new feeling and vibe .

Very well said mate, in a team where players come and go, sold and bought, they are all paid salaries based on their supposed worth, it is very possible for them to be disconnected from each other, and some of the emotions that we might not be able to see on screen is the envy and jealousy that is displayed in-house(that is in the background), for where ever money is the sole purpose why people gather, you are sure to find this two emotions there(envy and jealousy)..
