So this next world cup will be held in the entirety of North America...
I have got nothing against people from Qatar or Islam, but I believe it is better this way at least people will be able to get some beer, the food their want and won't get arrested for showing support towards anything specific and most importantly, there will likely not be any controversy because the death of workers.

Even before the 2022 World Cup is over, the 2026 World Cup is being discussed, which suggests that the 2026 Football World Cup will be organized in a grand manner.

Well.. we need to define what "grand" means. Obviously the North American countries are not going to spend $290 billion similar to the way Qatar did. Also, Canada and United States are some of the top migrant destinations in the world and they don't need to showoff their wealth, and neither do they have hundreds of billions of USD worth funds coming in every year from LNG and crude oil sales. At this point, I am more concerned about the visa requirements. In the US, they have a very strange system where it is relatively easy to enter as an illegal immigrant, while legal migrants wait for many years to get a visa hearing.

They did not only pay for it, it seems the government for Qatar also tried (and allegedly succeeded) to influence European politicians, in order for them to sweet-talk about that country to other European authorities and the European population in general, there is an ongoing investigation about it, another scandal to close this world cup cycle. Honestly, I thought this increase from 32 to 48 teams was very good, but making groups with only three participants, and ranking two in order to take two thirds of all teams to a direct elimination duel is insane, in my opinion.

Obviously this is not defined yet, but I would prefer to see 12 groups with four teams each, so that fewer teams qualify for the second phase.

I agree with you.
Groups of only 3 teams could lead to a lot of manipulation and fixing of results, and the quality of the game and the uncertainty of the competition will decrease.
As for Argentina, it seems to me that Messi has stated that if Argentina becomes world champion, he will play in the next world cup as well.
Whether Messi and Ángel di María play in the next World Cup or not, Argentina is a very good team and will be competitive for the title again in the next World Cup.

I agree with 12 groups of 4 teams, I think Fifa will chose this format instead of others.
But I'll add something I haven't said yet, I prefer the World cup with 32 teams every 2 years hehehe, instead of 4 years. It's a lot of time to wait until the next one.

I don't think he will play until 39, but it's a possibility since Messi is not a player who gets injured a lot and it's in good shape.
I believe Argentina will have a big problem to make another team without Messi, obviously, but the coach and confederation will probably talk with Messi to make their plans to 2026, where they can plan to build the team with or without Messi.

The Qatari authorities have been able to organize this World Cup very well. They tried their best to finish this World Cup successfully and they managed to do it. Hope the next World Cup will be organized more grandly than this.

Because it is alleged they were not able to completely build the place where people were supposed to stay, also they had a deal with an important brand of beer and the government of Qatar cancelled the distribution of Beer in the last second, probably with a negative effect to that brand.

Keeping those things in mind I am almost certain the next world cup will be definitely better organized, more enjoyable and free.

The World Cup in Qatar was the most expensive tournament ever. As Qatar is an Islamic state, there are some religious customs that the visitors have to follow, but that was not a problem for the World Cup visitors. The steps taken by Qatar in hosting the Football World Cup were really great. People from all over the world now know Qatar well and have some idea about their culture. All in all, the World Cup in Qatar was definitely enjoyable.

I think during the construction period, there are usually a lot of workers who have accidents and can the USA and Mexico be safe places for construction workers? Moreover, Mexico is famous for its high crime rate

They don't need to have a player as good as Messi or Di Maria to win, they only need to play as a team, the same way they played in the Copa America and World cup. For now, Messi is still around and he'll still continue to help them but I doubt he'll be available for the world cup in 2026. I don't know if they have a good goalkeeper like Martinez though but they have less than four years to find one because Martinez won't be what he is today by 2026.

Everyone knows the role Messi and Di Maria played in the Argentina team. When a player like Messi is in the team, the confidence of the rest of the players increases. Messi never helped the team in the World Cup, he led the whole team. The young players in the Argentina team can surely do well without Messi but for that they need to train and develop the mentality from now on.

When any team belongs to remarkable player, different kind of motivation works within the team which can motivate even the weaker players to great deeds. Messi's role in the Argentine team is similar. When Messi is in the team, it is not impossible to expect good things from the other players because of the spiritual stimulation. It remains to be seen how the mentioned players play in the upcoming World Cup. The extent of Messi's contribution to the team will also be quantifiable.

2-3 countries for a World cup is absurd in my opinion.

Imagine a guy who wants to follow the dream and wants to watch the 7 games until the final... he needs to travel the half-world for it, and pay a lot of extra money for it.
