I checked with Asian zone have added about 8 countries or national team will get automatic ticket playing for FIFA World Cup, will have bigger chance because our national team success qualify to Asian Cup in this years and I hope can success at qualify for
FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States will begin for several months later.

If the official PSSI is still money-oriented and power-hungry, that look hard for Indonesia to go to the next world cup in 2026. Right now, the official is still busy preparing the Election chairman of PSSI. and they forget about world cup 2026 preparation, they forget also if the plan to qualification is not easy and needs much time to prepare to select the player, coach, and new talent.

So, I don't expect too much, that looks impossible if you hope to qualified. Indonesia's Team is the same as before, don't have motivation as a participant, because the loss is a habit, and the official is never thinking about how to receive achievement, next world cup 2026 I am still pessimistic that Indonesia is still a spectator.

It is true that the PSSI management from the past until now have only thought about their personal interests and have only been busy enriching themselves by becoming members of the PSSI management.

Why would a Minister put himself forward as a candidate for general chairman of PSSI even though he is the former owner of Inter Milan not to make it a guarantee that Indonesian football will be even better.
In my opinion, it is better if PSSI members are properly selected and only those who understand and are able to advance Indonesian football are selected who deserve to be members of the PSSI board.

I think what happened to India is somehow related to FIFA's ban to Pakistan because the reasons of the council is because they are causing some doubts to the Football Federation because of the influence of some 3rd party. It was actually true what Chile presented against Ecuador, because FIFA sanctioned Ecuador for this new World Cup. In a normal situation Ecuador would have had forfeited their points for the games where the player was on the field, and giving a win to the other team. Running the math you end up with Chile qualifying instead of Ecuador. That's what should have happened, per FIFA regulations.

I think the whole issue with Ecuador not being sanctioned for Qatar was that it was just too close to the start of the tournament.

At the end of the day there are practical considerations that need to be followed. No tournament is ever going to be perfect.

In any case, I think Ecuador got a really small penalty now (-3 points) compared to what they were supposed to have in Qatar.

The tournament's level of competitiveness is lessened even if it does provide more countries the chance to play. With so many countries competing, there is a higher likelihood that a lower-ranked team may advance to the latter rounds of the competition, which can lessen the thrill and prestige of the World Cup.

As you indicated, the race for the seventh berth won't be as tough as it once was with 6 teams qualifying straight from CONMEBOL. All candidate for PSSI chairman don't have any planning for Indonesian national team speak more in the FIFA World Cup 2026 and always said about mafia on every election of PSSI time. Still close dreaming to see Indonesian national team will play in World Cup not serious from football federation.

What you said is relevant. I don't know if it would be advantageous to have this huge amount of teams in the world cup, the world cup is one of the most important events in the world, and therefore, I believe that for a country to participate, the selection process would be different.
