Three goals to one is not bad at all!

I think someone had finally talked senses to those guys with the rubbish they performed in the first half. The second half is both apprehensive and intriguing, and by not spoiling tickets again, like Spain, many people would be relieved by now. Nice goals from Mbappe for opening the scoring for more luck and for returning back almost immediately the goal from Mbaye. This is what I'm talking about.

Just like I said in my earlier comment knowing fully well how tough this match was going to be from the very beginning, I predict that my betting line if I am to bet will be to both teams making goals scores,nthe first half was really competing for France and Senegal but in the last minute of the second half we saw how Mbappé delivered the first goal in the 66 minutes of the game and also scored the last goal that bring they total goals to 3:2 Mbappé was the man of the match for France tonight this is indeed a good win for the France team.

I was happy for them at this moment seriously, because I know how many fans are eager to see how the Mbappe will perform accurately in this tournament, but he has shown us that he's truly a great player that can deliver beyond our expectations especially this season.

Well, If care is not taking as the thing or the tournament is going, trust me Mbappe may breaks many goals scorer in this tournament,  so in Mbappe truly work harder at this moment, believe you me he will break the records of Cristiano Ronaldo and he will also going to break the records of Klose this season.  Indeed Mbappe is truly a beast.

If Senagal loses this match tonight, there is no one they have to blame other than Jackson. He has had 2 - 3 beautiful chances, and he wouldn't even shoot on target. There is one particular opportunity right before half-time where he just sent the ball over the bar.

We all know from his time in Chelsea that, Jackson is one person that finds it really difficult to get the ball into the net. Personally, I feel he did perform well today except for the missed chances. He was finding himself in good positions, having a good control of the ball and end up shooting off target. Naaah mbappe wasn't on fire until  the last minutes. But Senegal did well , they could have even snatched a point or win during the first half when they were so energetic. That Nikolas Jackson wood work could have changed the trajectory of the game. Senegal didn't show any sign of fear , they played normal. It was just unfortunate that they couldn't keep up with that pace in the second half like they had in the first half. During that second half was when France started waking up and playing well. Olise was brilliant today, he set up some good passes that mbappe couldn't convert but finally did in his first goal. I hope Senegal can come back stronger against Iraq and Norway in order to qualify. I have no nothing much to really say about mbappe except for his second goal which was awesome. I believe he will win the golden boot again with 7-8 goals.

I am still not going to look less on Senegal with that they played today, they are still a potential to qualify from the group stage amongst the other teams alongside France. This was the game I was expecting to be tough for them to win and it was as I predicted, but their subsequent matches against Norway and Iraq should not be a very hard game for them, they should be able to snatch a win in those games with the performance I saw from them today. The Norway vs Iraq match is just few minutes away from kickoff, and I expect that Haaland could score two or more goals in this game depending on how strong the defense of the Iraqi's are.

The result is extremely what all expected from that game at last. From onset all predicted the game to end in favour of France because they are one of  the best in the world now  but I will say that result was as result of Senegal's over confidence,  if not the game would have ended with not more than a goal difference.

I only watched one half of the France vs Senegal match. I thought the first half was evenly matched, with both teams playing well, Creating chances and Attacking each other. With the score at 0-0 at Halftime, I thought the second half would be even more intense, But unfortunately, I didn't get to watch it because I fell asleep.

I checked the final score online and was surprised to see France winning 3-1. However, from the Statistics I saw, france played more aggressively in the second half, Allowing them to pressure senegal and score.
Mbappe was France hero, scoring two goals in their opening world cup match. I think he'll score many goals in every Match because of his sharp finishing.

dude, you missed the best part. in the first half it seemed like France was asleep. the team didn't show even half of what they're capable of. but in the second half we saw why France is considered one of the favorites in this World Cup. and I'd like to point out not only Mbappé's excellent performance but good teamwork. Senegal also showed themselves as a solid team but they don't match the level of the French national team. although they still have a chance to finish second or third in the group but it will be a bit difficult.

The favorite will not guarantee anything for now as I feel that there will be a lack of goals again for this match just as it happened for the Ivory Coast match against Ecuador some time ago I will not even hesitate to be under 2.5 in this match as I feel this match will not be much of a goal and may even be a draw.

Sweden is the favorite but when looking at how weak the attack is even though they have some grade A players like Isak or Gyokeres but I am very doubtful about their teamwork.
Graham Potter's focus on defense in recent games has made the attack a little weaker and if the scheme stays the same at 5-4-1 or 5-3-2 I don't think this will be an easy win for Sweden despite being the favorites.

Sweden will certainly have to sweat out the victory, it is never an easy match, especially in the World Cup where the players and teams feel their desire to carry forward the flag of their nation, with classic sporting pride, coming from their hearts and chests.

They changed their scheme and didn't just rely on the back 5 and the result was so good that I'm going to take that back because in this match with their new formation it actually made them a pretty solid team in the first match.

I was quite surprised with Potter giving a different feel where he emphasized the midfield more than the defense but with their 3-4-3 formation it seems to be a significant difference. Their midfield was well controlled and their attack was really active in this match.

Today France did the same although the win seemed natural but the second half was very solid and I liked the French performance today.

Senegal had a lot of good changes, and until the end of the game it was a tied match with both sides playing with full power. In the other team you have Olise and Mbappe so you can not pretend like Senegal did anything wrong, they just don't have the star power that France has

For once I thought we were going to watch a match with a really less number of goals. But I'm thankful for the second half and especially France of course.

I was hoping for a win by them with a -1,5 handicap. I was really nervous in the last minutes. It was crazy that right after Senegal scored France answered in only a minute in the stoppage time.

Finally there was no surprising result in a favourite team's match.

In second half France woke up and after the first goal, Senegal opened up and conceded more. Surprised that Senegal played well and this isnt such bad result for them that much,i think still they will pass the group even with losing against France.

Everyone was thinking that Kylian Mbappe is in a bad form and that all the things that have been happening in the friendly matches or media will affect him but he scored two really good goals and is showing why he is one of the best players.

I was so surprised with Mbappe's performance in their first match of the competition, I am among the people that are saying that he will not perform very well but honestly he prove me wrong. Many people were accusing him of being in charge always an honestly with the look of things mbappé still remain the first of French football, France performance is absolutely good but I will not give them so much credit since the competition is just starting and again the kind of opponent they faced actually Matter too.

Dembele will understand that mbappé is still the face of France because he have proven that in this match, it is not easy for someone to be man of the match and he did it, I think it deserved more respect with the way he performed in this match.

Jackson is not really a good player compared to super tough players, France team was on another level and at some point Senegal played along. The match was tough for France during the early minutes, I was surprised how did Senegal managed to suppress France for very long though France also stayed in line so it seems both teams tried very hard to score but, couldn’t. I had same thought when Jackson couldn’t score despite the opportunity, he always finds it difficult making good use of any chance given, so many wasted opportunity. The moment Mbappe scored I knew Senegal will lose the match but, 1 goal is something to be proud of besides they actually gave France a tough time, what a performance from both countries.

I can't help it but to recognize the stellar performance of Kylian Mbappe and Michael Olise. These are the real GOATs for the France natuonal team. They've carried their team on their shoulders and having to make sure they're reaping their opposition apart on the pitch. Regardless, Senegal did come out to play football and they were also amazing on tbe pitch, alot of stalling display for goals but none in the first half but in the second half, both sides get more interesting and serious, they compete with full chest and keen on goal scoring.

France accountable for their first 3 points in the World Cup against Senegal and that's a good news for them, they will try their best to do well in their remaining matches and I'm pretty sure France might go unbeaten throughout their group stage games.

Honestly the first half was nothing to talk about but the second half was very interesting, both team played well but France was able to take most of their chances. Senegal created some good chances too but don’t make use of them. Kylian Mbappe at his best in every World Cup, 2 good goals and all 3 points for France. It really a good second half.

That's true. Senegal had many chances in the first half, but they didn't utilize them. Francie's national team is full of experienced players. Senegal should have made use of the opportunity and disorganized them, because if Senegal had score a goal in the first half, they would have gained more balance in the second half.

The first half was quite an incredible one, but immediately after France scored the penalty, Senegal were no nowhere to be found. What an awesome day for Mbappe. The last goal was absolutely massive.

It was a disappointment for the Senegalese, they had it under control and as soon as France scored they lost it completely without any way of coming back to their main formation, when they got a goal back they felt relaxed before Mbappe ended the game with the 3rd goal for France. This should have been a game to share point within themselves but right from the start Senegal have a defense that wasn't good with playing the ball with each other instead they make mistakes and clear the ball, honestly this set of defenders need someone better to stand and the leader not Koulibaly, he has lost that leadership in him.

In this game, the Senegal team was trying hard, there was no goal between the two teams until the 60th minute of the game. The Senegal defenders performed carefully in this game, but suddenly the French team applied so much pressure that the French team was able to score three goals in a row. Mbappe double goal made this match more attractive, but the Senegalese players performed well enough and tried to draw the game.
But because the French team was very strong, a 3-1 goal difference was created in this match, as a result, the French team collected full points.

New Zealand had the better squad in today's game. Although the dominance was short lived, you needed to see how they whole team stayed so coordinated to keep the ball in their possession. The problem, just like in every other team was too many defensive errors and Iran is not a team that would ignore the slightest opportunity to score a goal, so that made it easy for Ramin to equalize.

I love the way Iranians played their header more often, which is how they earned their second equalizer.
It would have been a clean win for Iran if the offside header had counted, but the level of disgrace would be too much for their opponent as they were the first to score each goal in both halves.
