Congratulations Spain, your performance was credible, so many people predicted that Argentina will win the world cup final, but it was surprised that Argentina couldn't perform the way they use fo be perform, that's why we don't need to rely on match, it can change at any time, from the beginning of the match Spain suppressed Argentina to the extent that Argentina could not record a nice shot against Spain, so the match was wonderful and nobody taught that Spain will suppressed Argentina to this form, once again congratulations to Spain player for working in harmony and achieve their obligations...

I thought Argentina performance would improve in the second half but it didn't. in fact they were in pressure throughout the match. For Argentina to play full 90 minutes game without a single shot on target that shows how tough the match was for them. I'm impressed by how strong Spanish team defense is, they played a very good game because they didn't allow Argentina to penetrate them.

The performance of Argentina against England and also Spain against France makes me think both Spain and Argentina had equal chance today, because they both really fought hard to reach this stage. But Spain proved today why they deserve be the champion. Congratulations to Spain.

Congratulations to Spain, I enjoyed watching the match despite how much time it took before reaching the last minutes so many tension. Actually every country deserved a chance like this but, Spain outdid themselves just imagine how we never saw this coming not until the last minutes although personally I had the believe Spain will defeat Argentina and lift the World Cup trophy, winning the World Cup trophy twice within the space of a long time is actually brilliant, Spain is now the present World Cup champions.

Despite the thuggery from Argentina towards Spain,  they still found a way to win this tournament. Indeed, football won.

Spain managed to dominate the entire game, really impressive

Naaahhhh, they were not on that pitch today. Not even the hydration and halftime break was able to get them kicking.
You keep watching and be wondering if anytime now they would be up for a good start but, nope, none of that happened tonight. Spain humiliated them from start to finish, the entire 120minutes was played by Spain and in Argentina’s half, that’s the worst of it. It’s a case of the better team won and they ensured to suffer Argentina for the many narrow escapes.

Argentina wanted to defend the championship, they don’t have the intention of playing free flowing football, they wanted to stay back and use any opportunity they had to score and wait if they couldn’t score they will play penalties since they have one of the best keepers in the world, but it wasn’t possible tonight, they were defeated by Spain because Spain played better tonight and the best team won.

It was a great tactical game, and the Argentine goalkeeper, Martínez, was the star of the show. Spain has always been known as a good defensive team, and they did not allow any open spaces for Lionel Messi. Throughout the entire match, it was impossible to see him handling the ball, simply because of the great teamwork and defensive game of the Spanish players.

Messi and Ronaldo can now retire in peace, they have tried, let others take off the challenge beater Lamine Yamal has already started and has already won his first World Cup title.

Ferran Torres, who came on as a substitute, scored the lone goal of the match for Spain. Neither Mikel Oyarzabal nor Lamine Yamal could score in the final. Messi had already won a World Cup to cement his legacy, so if he had won this one, it would have been a bonus.

All of the awards were deserved even though I still do not agree with golden ball and the golden glove award. For the golden glove was actually handed over to Unai Simon is because of the clean sheet that the entire team had, I think this thing should be reviewed to actually other stats like shots faced and also other things like saves too amd not just goals conceded alone or clean sheets.

Another one is actually Rodri winning the golden ball I feel Messi deserves a shout at this due to how he carries the team all throughout the tournament breaking almost all available records at his current age he was actually going to win this had Argentina won the trophy and this means that the award isn’t even base on right metrics other than a team winning it.

It's over. Well played and deserved title for Spain, congratulations. I was expecting a more competitive and thrilling final game, but Argentina made things easier for Spain. I don't know if they were tired or just aware about the Spanish superiority, so they prefered to not risk too much along the match. It didn't pay off in the end, anyway.

It was an intense month and I will miss watching the national teams playing every day.

What i saw at the end of today's game was what I expected before the start of the game. From the beginning of this world cup tournament it appeared very clear that Argentina where favoured in most games if not they won't have made it to the final as they did today.  
On this game I will say the Spanish team deserved the victory they got because the Argentina i know is no match for them as they where way much better than them in all rectification but all where only hoping and praying on the unpredictable nature of football.  
Apart from the absence of goals in the game,  I see no equality the same way it used to in other finals or even that of France and England yesterday.

The referee was very correct giving Enzo the second yellow card but honestly I don't think he should have given him the first yellow card.
The game has now been shifted towards Spain and that is in addition to the fact that Spain were already heads and shoulders above Argentina.
Honestly I fear for Argentina after Messi retires, you can't depend on an individual like this, the first half and second half was all Spain now it is up to Argentina to defend for another thirty minutes if they are to win this one.

To be honest Argentina did not play any impressive football in this final  for anything to have warrant them to win the Cup again, being defending champions I expected more but for what they gave tonight it would have being painful to me if Spain hadn't won eventually.
Argentina were just too physical in the game with many fouls that worth cards which the referee out of his discretion pardoned but for sure Enzo two yellows were deserving. Besides Enzo, Nicolás Tagliafico was another player I thought was going to earn himself a red card but he was just lucky to have escaped it because the dude was too physical with his tackles on Yamine Lamal all of the time that the guy had to get passed him still.

Congratulations to Spain, they really deserved this victory. Messi really tried but I think it was God’s will for Spain to win. I really enjoyed the match. I was expecting a more serious game from both countries but I feel Argentina wasn’t prepared enough or they were looking down on Spain.

Lionel Messi regretted it a lot and cried a lot on the field, but the Argentine team's game was not clear and they could not perform well. The opponent of the Argentine team, Spain, was the most aggressive, in this match they performed very well and won the World Cup. Argentina could not take any target kicks for a long time, and in the last minute they kicked 2 goalposts. But the Spanish team kicked 20 goalposts, and the Argentine team could not reach the ball to the Spanish team's goalkeeper in this match.
But the Spanish team's players saved a total of 11 balls from the Argentine team's goalkeeper, which were 100% sure of scoring goals. However, the game ended in a tough competition, and the Spanish team is the two-time World Cup winner.

basically there has been conspiracy that Yamal winning today 19th which is his play number and summarizing everything around today’s game it’s going to make him the next goat after Messi but most people doubt because he is a kid. But it’s now a true story that Messi will lose to the kid he bathed and for that he would be the next Messi in the pitch. What a coincidence. • The final looks boring to me, Argentina made it so. England vs France 3rd place was a better match
• Argentina playing 90 mins without goal attempt isn't something I expected
• I learnt that FIFA ranking really matters. Those are not mere figures, they were carefully analyzed. Imagine that FIFA number one rating actually played the finals with number two
• Congratulations to Rodri, a deserved award. If it were before, it would be Messi or Mbappe. Football has started to recognize players beyond scoring ability
• A last dance for Ronaldo, Neymar and Messi

The sad part is that this was Messi's last tournament. Spain have a young roster, they'll likely be favorites in future tournaments as well and their chances of winning will be high. But this was the last chance for Messi and Argentina. They could've won one more time, but even though they made it to the final, it didn't happen this time. I don't think we'll see Argentina in the later rounds from now on. If you take Messi out of the team, they become a pretty ordinary squad.

Fortunately, Messi had the chance to play in 3 finals. Many great players only make it to the final once. Messi won once and was on the losing side twice. But without him, Argentina would never have made it to this final. I think everyone will agree on this.

I won't even blame Argentina for playing a defensive football which made the final turned into a training session for Spain because had they go toe-to-toe with Spain, Spain would have scored three or four goals against them and the match would have ended at full time. Argentina game plan was to hold Spain to a draw match for the winner of the final to be decided in a penalty shootout, they almost accomplish it, but Torres breaking the deadlock and gave Spain a one goal lead spoiled everything for them. The one thing Messi have shown tonight during the final match and the losing of the world cup is that messi composure we extremely relaxing and balance even in the face of tactical threats he never react angrily like others, may be that is because the Spain players are mostly his Barcelona team mates who he is already used to, but sincerely Messi did well tonight just that the chances for him to make a difference wasn't available.

I wish we'd seen a better final match. Argentina played very timidly, they couldn't create anything on offense. Spain also squandered the chances they had. The shots on goal went straight at the goalkeeper. Martinez had a good game. But once you concede a goal, it's all over if you can't score.

Argentina held on until extra time but ran out of steam in the final 15 minutes. Playing with 10 men was hard enough as it was. Spain have won another title. This generation will win more titles in the future I believe. They have very talented players.

Match was really boring like we were expecting that both side will try a tussling a football like match would too competitive but unfortunately it was totally marked lien only one side was dominating the match. Argentina was really bad because I was monitoring their buildup and to be honest it didn't even make any sense like they were absolutely poor like they didn't made any single open attempt on goal. It's really embarrassing moment for them.....

Below you all can clearly see it that Argentina didn't even attempt any single shot on goal in regular 90 minutes. It's really bad. To be honest I never see such poor match of Argentina. Messi was bit sloppy because their teammate didn't provide him ball possion.

I'm not surprised by the victory of Spain because they have always dominated their game from the beginning. Though Argentina was able to progress in some of their matches that many didn't think they would. All I can say about Spain's performance in this World Cup is absolutely excellent. They know how to play, and you could see their performance in this game against Argentina. I really appreciate the players, especially the man of the match, Lamine Yamal, and Nicolas. Argentina is one of the best team that performed excellently during this FIFA World, despite that Spain have been performing good, many people thought that Argentina will win the world cup back to back, Do you know that if not the red card against Argentina, they  would have equalize the match, because the pressure from Argentina increase immediately the extra time was remaining 6 minutes before the additional extra 5mins time was given..Actually spain tried but that does not mean that gamblers believe from the initial that messi will lose against Spain...

Argentina had no choice but to do so as Spain's dominance and short-passing scheme and possession were truly exceptional in this match. Not that Argentina are bad but their chances are lost because Spain always get a good rhythm.

There were only 3 shots and even then it happened when they tried to force a full attack in extra time because in normal time Spain like to play alone in half the field.
What is interesting in normal time is only Enzo's fights for Argentina the rest they do not have any chance. But even so they also worked hard to get to the final despite some controversy but they were successful in the final for 2 consecutive World Cups and one of them getting the trophy was already a good achievement for them.
