Watching the final Argentina play in this World Cup, it seemed like they lost due to a bad strategy while playing against a local team like Spain, a strong team. I didn't know Argentina could play so badly before. Looking at their performance in the final, it seemed like FIFA might have given them a chance to play in the final and they couldn't reach the final because of their own ability. Really, if they had played like the game or performance they showed last night, they would have been eliminated in the knockout match. But Spain played brilliantly and they deserved it.

I don't know why some people are not praising Argentina for reached such hours in that game because Spain manage to secured that 1 goal that brought the trophy, because Argentina players experience many injuries in that final game before they allow Spain to beat them to lift the trophy despite they reached final. What Really surprised me in that final game is the defenders Argentina brought to play, because they displayed from the beginning before they discovered that Argentina players has reduced their strength to achieve the victory they want.

For Argentina to reach this stage before Spain created opportunity that gave them the opportunity to use that hour's to secure goals show that they did well and they deserve plenty quality players, because raising young talented player is their focus this season.

Argentina played very badly and this is something that Argentina fans have to accept. We have not  seen such a terrible performance from Argentina in previous matches of the world cup. They committed a  lot of fouls in this match. More importantly, we saw a lot of missed passes by the argentine players. The Argentine players have never made so many mistakes in any previous match.

The match was controlled by the Spanish players. They played well and  dominated from the beginning. Their passing and  attacks were very fast. And that is why argentina  was under pressure from the beginning. They had no other  option than defensive gameplay. Argentina lost badly against Spain's strategy and domination.

The only thing is that you guys underestimate or overhype some teams that is where all these assumptions comes from some teams are better than you think, but it's just that they don't have a good world cup history and people tend to over rate the teams with historical achievements mean while your soppsed to judge based on the present performance of these countries. Even with good players that doesn't automatically mean that they are the best team. And you feel some team's are strong while they aren't really that strong, and some teams that are strong are underated

Spain played crazy good football, but you are totally right about the drama. That Enzo red card completely flipped the momentum of the final. Refs definitely have way too much power to shape the outcome of a massive game, and it felt harsh on Argentina. Although Argentina had 90 minutes and didn't have a single shot on goal. So it's hard to say they didn't have a chance.

Also, it is so true about Portugal. Playing the World Cup without Diogo Jota - after his tragic crash last summer - was heartbreaking. They really pushed Spain to the limit in that quarterfinal, and you can't help but wonder "what if."
