This year's 48-nation World Cup was shit, and if they raise it up to 64, it will be more and more difficult to watch. I think in that case I will start watching only from the Round of 16 matches onward. For me, no other format will be better than the 32-team WC. And then this bullshit with 6 countries as hosts. Things are getting out of control real fast.

There is really a rumour like they can raise the number of teams participating to 64. Like, what? This is a horrible idea. Especially if the number of European countries isn't increased logically then it'll be even worse!

I've already been criticizing this format because of keeping this number at only 16. FIFA should think of the danger of the quality to drop seriously as well. This World Cup was fun, okay. But there were quite many uninteresting matches at the same time.

For me, 48 countries is already too many, let alone 64. You could say it’s a bad idea. After all, the players won’t have much time to rest, and each country will have to play a match every two days. That’s clearly not good, is it? Not to mention that many players are at risk of injury, and we won’t be able to watch exciting, thrilling matches. Just look at this year’s World Cup, during the group stage, there were so many matches that weren’t interesting to watch.

I’m baffled by FIFA’s idea of adding more participants to the next World Cup. For new countries, it might be good because they’ll have the chance to compete in a major tournament. But for major countries with strong domestic leagues, it’s certainly detrimental because their players won’t have enough time to rest. FIFA is only thinking about its profits without caring about the players’ health.

It was a really bad day for Argentina. They not only performed poorly throughout  the match, but they also behaved in an unprofessional manner. Admittedly, not everyone behaved that way , but the behaviour of a few has tarnished their reputation somewhat. Ronaldo will remain a great player even though he wins the World Cup or not, he has proven himself a long time ago in different leagues, he lifted the champions league with Manchester United and also in Real Madrid, in this World Cup so many people were saying his not performing well but they forgot his 41 years old, I’m even surprised that he scored 3 goals in this concluded World Cup.
Messi is also a great player and he as set another legacy just like Maradona and I believe even if his not playing for the national team anymore they are going to do better, Argentina will keep playing better because they still have very good players and I’m very sure more players are going to come out in the future.

I really liked the number of teams in this tournament,  I think 48 would be the ideal number

But I enjoyed most of the matches I watched, I managed to watch most of them and even the lesser-known teams played quite well, at a high level
Just look at the teams that got a chance in this World Cup, like Cape Verde and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, they played well and surprised a lot of people

I personally think that the Argentine national team will see a decline in performance because Messi won’t be playing for his country. And Argentina’s excellent performance so far has been largely driven by the impact of the goat’s presence. I’ve noticed that Messi’s teammates fully support him in every match. And in yesterday’s final it was clear that they were making an effort to get the ball to Messi more often. But I think the next challenge for Argentina is to find a replacement for Messi or even change their playing style due to his absence. Perhaps they’ll balance out each line so that everyone works together effectively as part of their strategy without relying primarily on a single player. As for Cristiano Ronaldo I don’t think he’ll play in the next World Cup even though there are still rumors about his participation in the upcoming tournament. And one of the reason for this is the speculation surrounding a new coach for the Portuguese national team. But I think it will be difficult for him to represent his country in the upcoming World Cup given that he’s getting older and his physical condition is declining, where it will make it hard for him to compete at the highest level in such a tournament.

I also shared this thoughts in my head at a certain time,  especially after the games they played against Egypt and England. I do not see it that way now, I feel they had this soft spot for Argentina whenever they play. Maybe a slight bias but we should never say it was rigged either. I take back my words if I ever penned down these thoughts of mine by mistake.
I also won't say the game was boring. It only exposed how Argentina are more of a vile and disgusting side if you pull out Lionel Messi. Glad football won.

That's a very absurd claim, especially in this particular edition, if it was the previous World Cup, I wouldn't say much but this Competition aside from human incompetence, Argentina's matches was really fair.

I have a very bad take on the 48 teams before but after seeing it i change my mind about it, but the worst of all and one thing that i cant stand is the silly thing of having more than one host, you are a tiny country and need help, ok maybe 2 countries like it was in Korea and Japan but come on how on earth do you want to put 6 countries as a host.

When you talk about Argentina this way, then also extend the same concern to Portugal too because since Ronaldo will be retiring before the next World Cup that will be played in the year 2030, what also becomes of Portugal? Because whether we believe it or not, the Portuguese national team also depended on Ronaldo's ability to help them get as far as possible in the world Cup even if they didn't end up in the semi finals or finals to contend for the world Cup.
So we must worry for Argentina, then same worry must be extended to Portugal too..

But on the brighter side of things, (though I personally haven't confirmed that Messi will retire before the next World Cup) if Messi retires before the next world Cup, thats a good news as it will be good for both legends to retire same time, so that in the coming world Cup, both football teams and the rest of other teams of other nations will be at the same fair level with each other, this could make the next future world Cups more competitive and super interesting, or what do you guys think?

Let me remind you: Messi didn’t even receive a yellow card for this foul, although it was a direct red card and, for example, Balogun received a direct red card for the same foul.
Even neutral fans after this tournament are discussing how Argentina was dragged to the final and what special treatment they received. If you chose to see and hear nothing, that's your problem.
As for your question, it's obvious – Spain was head and shoulders above the competition, and even the poor refereeing (Argentina should have received more red cards and earlier) didn't change anything.

All of this talk of the World Cup games being rigged for Argentina just to ensure that Lionel Messi win another World Cup trophy before retirement is what I don't want to be concerned about. Although there's no smoke without fire, so there could be some atom of truth anyway. But that aside, my main concern was about the attitude of the Argentina players after game was ended. Acting aggressively and fighting the Spain players was unprofessional. In 2022 when Argentina won the World Cup against France the French players didn't display such violent character, they just couldn't accept their loss against a better team.

Spain dominated the final, creating numerous scoring opportunities. Although they only beat Argentina 1-0, it was enough for them to win their second World Cup trophy in history.

Spain swept nearly all the individual awards at the World Cup. This World Cup truly belonged to Spain.

7 goals in just 537 minutes with a non-world class team is crazy. For comparison, Kane scored 6 in 732 minutes and Messi scored 8 but in 853 minutes.

Not to mentioned he made a historical event for his country by pushing Norway into 1/4 finals.

But Haaland didn’t win a trophy. You know, sometimes players who score a lot of goals but whose teams don’t win trophies have a hard time winning individual awards. Your argument is correct. But you know what the sad thing is? The problem is that the best player selection is not just calculated by goals and assists. Rodri controlled Spain's game without scoring or assisting. And if you watched the game, you know that Rodri completed the most passes. In fact, he completed 94 percent of the passes in the match and was even at the top level in ball recovery, tackles and midfield control. Didn't you see how Spain kept Messi inactive and didn't give Argentina any chance to try in the allotted time? So it's not unfair that Rodri won the award.

Some how you will not want to blame people so much for wanting to see things the way they want, also the events around the Argentine team at a time warranted all of the brows that was risen against them in the taught that there is some form of favor to them from FIFA  and so it will take a whole lot to convince such people otherwise as they will say they do have what they will call a good reason and some evidence to think in such direction.

Well, you're absolutely right about that For me, Spain was superior in every way, They played wonderfully, controlling the game with great harmony Besides that, what you say about Paredes is totally true. I would have sent the referee off the first time he was full of hatred, and that's something no one should see, it was even worse when the game ended and the Argentinians started looking for a fight. To me, they behaved like criminals, a terrible example of sore losers.

Actually, I was rooting for Spain from the start, so I'm pretty happy. Watching Argentina's game, they were really bad, and Spain got the ball back really quickly whenever they lost it. Even the Argentine players just felt like practice dummies. Some of Argentina's rough play moments really disappointed me about this World Cup champion. You could really tell they weren't playing football but kung fu.

Spain gave Argentina no chances throughout the match. While we expected Argentina to play good football, they had almost no opportunities, and as far as I remember, they only had one chance in 120 minutes. Spain comfortably controlled the game, and the Argentinian goalkeeper's numerous saves forced the match into extra time. If the Argentinian goalkeeper hadn't been having a good day, Spain would have won the match at the end of 90 minutes.
