Logically linking the departure of Ronaldo and winning the title by United is rather strange, it's following the haters. As if there was no like a "modest" purchase of the great Casemiro and an emergency rebuild of a team that was very weak at the beginning of the season (with and without Ronaldo). Right now his move towards Asia have made this to be a big discussion, because the move isn't expected. With his entry the Saudi Arabia Pro League have gained more importance. He's highly influential, and he have got more responsibility. Winning the Asian Champions League makes him the best once again. For Ronaldo, he is a legendary player who attracts tens of millions of fans to his club and therefore he has the rights to demand a higher compensation. Manchester United on the other hand, is one of the most popular football clubs in the world and according to them it is a privilege to play under their jersey. Each one's perspective was not acceptable to the other. So both of them took a decision that was acceptable to everyone and moved on.
