Before Messi and Ronaldo, I have never seen players who can score 50 goals in one domestic league season. Because of their high performances in the past, people expect to see those players continue to score goals like a machine even when they are older and mostly at endings of their careers. It seems to me that few leagues could add 16 minutes in principle at the end of a match and it is unclear why they did not stop the game after the second goal of Al-Nassr and played until the third? This result was really unbelievable Al Shabab lost points in that match, previously I think they are which should have won 3 points easy. Yes, now Al Shabab left behind from Al Ittihad and Al Nassr. Meanwhile, Al Adalh now their mentality will be improve after defeating the top team, in that match they made an epic comeback. Yes after the second goal I suppose that the referee didn't feel very well about the additional time granted and thought ok for reasons of fairness I let this game go for another 3 minutes and then I can say it was all fair towards everyone.

I agree that for such an additional time to be added to regular time, there usually need to be major incidents like stuff being thrown onto the field by the fans or I don't know, but when the game must be suspended for a couple of minutes, then those additional times happen in other leagues as well. Just because there were more fouls than usual is often not a reason for a game to be extended like that.

But actually I would be a fan of a lot of additional time because I hate it when players who get fouled lie on the ground for three minutes holding their legs, thereby letting the clock run down in their favor. I would prefer how it is handled in ice hockey or basketball and I am sure we would see less acting than we are forced to see these days when someone gets fouled.

Sometimes when a top team plays against a team in the relegation zone, it is not uncommon for the results to be as surprising as in this match. Supposedly, Al Shabab can easily subvert its opponent. because, apart from playing at home, these two teams have a fairly large gap based on the standings ranking. An striker (like any other player on the field) cannot have a result of actions that are 100% effective. Him taking a break and not scoring in one or two games doesn't automatically make him a bad investment for the club besides Ronaldo coming to Al Nassr was more than him just been their striker. They needed him for other benefits which the club had received so far.
