that's football, sometimes fans think too much of their idol can change the situation but in reality football is a game of 11 people, not a game of 1 person. I see Al Nassar being able to become a champion if the attitude of the players can be more enthusiastic and aggressive. For CR7 himself he plays with passion but how come other players are not like pro players. The coach doesn't have the experience to adjust the game to help score goals.

It can't be helped that the quality of Asian and European players is different, especially at Ronaldo's class. He will definitely have trouble if his team doesn't develop, he will have trouble. At least the pro saudi league still leaves 10 matches remaining until the end of the season, Al Nassr still has a great chance to shift the top of the standings. but on condition, Ronaldo and his colleagues must wipe out all the remaining matches and hope that Al Ittihad will slip in some of their matches.

Fans and haters will always criticize Ronaldo whether Al Nassr is the winner this season or not. But when Ronaldo fails to help Al Nassr winning the title of Saudi Pro League, they will be more eager to blame and criticize him. It's their nature, it's impossible to expect them to be silent. They will always look for Ronaldo's mistakes.

However, personally I think Ronaldo has done a quite good job in his first season. He already contributed several goals and assists, not every player can do this in the first season of a new club.

I think the hype around Saudi league is long gone. First few games people had interest but now nobody talk about that around me. I saw Al Nassr's latest loss against Al Ittihad. If Ronaldo can't win a championship here that would be a bummer. Imagine paying millions of Euros and can't even get a trophy in return.
I see Mateu Lahoz was the referee in this match. I knew in some derbies these Arab leagues hire foreign referees. Lahoz is a top class referee. I'm surprised at first but that makes sense. It's better to use foreign referees than locals in the most important games. Players and fans have nothing to object to these referees.

If you are transferring Ronaldo to your team, you need to surround him with better players. I really don't see even mid-level quality players in Al Nassr. I've watched Talisca many times before for 90 minutes. He is very talented and a great football player. If you look at the goals he scored, you'll agree with me. However, he is also a football player who likes to play individually. Apart from Talisca, I only like Abdulrahman Ghareeb's performance. However, apart from these two players, I don't see any other players who can play with Ronaldo. I think Al Nassr should have signed a few good mid-level quality players along with Ronaldo.

he might be there just for money and boosting his numbers of goals and assists etc, but for sure winning the league is a big plus for him and the team, imagine spending all that money on one player when you can buy 3 or 4 decent ones that would almost guarantee winning game league, it was pub move, I don't think they care that much about winning the league to be honest.

My interest in the Saudi Pro League was also after Cristiano Ronaldo's entry into the Al-Nassr team.
