The SPL became even more interesting after Cristiano joined Al-Nassr, and now, Karim Benzema has also followed in Cristiano footsteps and joined this season SPL winners Al-Ittihad. That's the idea, getting players that would bring you to the spotlight and they ate doing it. They certainly had some positive views with Ronaldo. The more these elite players surface in there league, the more it becomes as prestigious as we have in the likes of Premier league, Serie  A, League 1, Laliga and the rest of them. It's more about having teams that could be able to compete at the champions league level and with S. Ramos, N. That's why saudi arabia was trying to sign so many great players from european leagues. Im not feeling doubt about that if this strategy has been successfully attracting so many eyes on it.

People are now starting to consider this league as the best league for the old football players to retire.

I mean they all expected him to accept a near 1 billion dollar offer, which would have been a smart decision not going to lie but he didn't and instead he is going to do something nobody else has ever done before. I mean surely there must have been "some" people who have done it, but he will leave for share of the cut, in the end it will once again be good amount of money.

I don't like all this talk about religion. Karim Benzema is saying that he is a Muslim and therefore he is happy to play in Saudi Arabia. In that case what is his opinion about the country of his birth? He represented France for one and half decade, and from his statement should we assume that he doesn't feel any loyalty to that country because the majority of the population is not following his religion? This is the first time I am hearing a statement from some big international player that he preferred a particular club mainly because of religion. Extremely disappointing.

Messi is always in the spotlight indeed the latest news is that Messi is willing to join Inter Miami but previously there was other news he did not refuse to join the Saudi league rumors he delayed a year to join there meaning he still has an interest in joining anywhere it's just that next season he wants to try the experience in the American league, Messi  father plays a role in a negotiation.
