Fulton will be the luckiest guy on this planet if he can upset Inoue I doubt if it will be by knockout.
A big recognition indeed for Stephen Fulton if he managed to beat Naoya Inoue. But I won't call it an upset but rather just a win on usual. Fulton might be the underdog but I'm sure he will give Inoue a tough fight in his career. And besides, he's the current champ and the recognition will remain the same aside from the fact that it is Inoue, and we all know who's the guy was and what's the capability that he can do. But in the side of Fulton, he deserves everything once he successfully defends his belt from the Monster challenger, it will be an interesting and exiting match for sure. Placing some spare for whoever you think will win will add some real fun while watching the fight.

As far as upsets, Fulton is the champion and a live dog, so it's possible, but it's unlikely to happen because of what we have seen on Inoue in his last couple of fights in 118 lbs. I think Stephen Fulton is the only boxer as a dominant champion that Naoya Inoue will face for the first time in his career. Most of the time, Inoue defends his belts but this time he's the challenger. It's been also always a rare situation when we see a challenger as a Favorite and that's how strong Inoue is. Fulton even as a champion is facing a tough wall to destroy. Can't wait to see them settling the score in the ring. I think the odds should be lower than 1.37. There's little respect given to the champion, which is why the odds are quite high. However, I would take it as an opportunity since Inoue is a proven KO artist. He wouldn't be called the Monster for nothing. I am excited to see how Inoue will defeat the champion and become the reigning champion in this division. He might defend his title for a while before deciding to move up.

I agree, if Fulton defeats Inoue I would not consider it an upset, after all he is the champion and we know that he is a good boxer, an upset is something like what we saw on the Ruiz vs Joshua fight, in which Ruiz against all odds defeated Joshua and did so convincingly, in fact that result was so unexpected it was one of the biggest upsets ever on the history of boxing and some casinos even reported some losses from that fight due to the unexpected outcome.

C'mon mate, if that is the case then we should let Steph Fulton receive all the praises and credits because even if he's the champion, it is and has been a challenge even for him to beat up someone like Naoya Inoue and that is why he deserves all of it. Let's refrain from shorting him for what he deserves because still, it can be called an upset because he is the underdog in this fight. I mean, just like the Canelo-Bivol fight. Why would we call it as upset if Bivol was already the champion at that division, mainly because he was also an underdog that time despite the fact that he is the champion of LHW, just like Fulton's situation now.

It might be a huge disappointment to us fans that we haven't got the chance to see the Crawford-Spence fight, at least they are still doing their part to make the other fights happen for us to enjoy. Like this fight, we are all expecting this to happen and fortunately, Al Haymon didn't interfere as Fulton is his cow. And one of the said reasons why the Crawford-Spence fight didn't materialize is that Crawford was a free agent and don't have a big promoter company that will handle business and negotiations against the big promotional company that Spence is currently under contract. Sad to see Crawford end up fighting against not that ranked boxers just to keep him active in the ring after being parted with the Top Rank Promotions. Here in Fulton vs Inoue fight, it's good to see that this fight was organized and boxing politics did not take place between the 2 big promoters. Might be but I believe that even with Bob Arum's help, the fight won't still materialize because Al Haymon didn't have any plan at all to make the fight happen and that means even if Bob and Crawford will give as low as 30% slice of the purse just to push the fight, it's still not happening. Not day, not ever because they are afraid of Crawford's skill because if they aren't, they could've pursued Crawford first and Ugas last for him to be the undisputed champion.

Odds of 1.37 is indeed a respect for the champion which it wont really be that a bad spot for us bettors on cherishing out these numbers considering winning chance could really be high knowing Inoue. It is really hard to make out conclusions for upcoming fights considering that results or outcomes could really be that different. This is why it is really still that on your own choice on which one you would be picking. If ever Inoue would beat up Fulton then defending out his belt for this division might take time or else he would be rushing up on other divisions and trying out to dominate but of course it wont be that easy.

Regardless of anything, Stephen Fulton has to do his very best in order to defeat the monster. I'm sure he is really preparing for this really badly as he even skips moving up a weight to 126 just to face Inoue and settle the scores first.

After pausing his way to climb up just to defend his belt from this division, he needed this fight to gain more respect from the bookies and the fans. If he will manage to take this one away from the monster, it is surely a good start to move up and challenge the current champ on his chosen division.

Bookies might have their own measurement on how the odds are going to be, yes he is the champion, however, he is facing one of the best fighter we have right now. And so there is no disrespect on the part of sport bookies here, they are just looking at the facts in front of the table. And you can see that it is across all sport bookies though, not just one, so it means that is what they are seeing in this fight. No offense to Fulton or to someone. And if that is the case that they feel disrespected, then he can go for the upset or the same with gamblers, put their money on Fulton if they think he can pull that win.

An odds ranging from 1.37 or lower is decent enough for Inoue being listed as the champion because even if Fulton is the underdog, we cannot overrule the upset here because he is not an ordinary champion who just got lucky in possessing those belts just like Butler at 118, Fulton is a 2-belt champion so let's expect that he will give Inoue a good fight that might be more challenging than what Donaire gave to him in their first encounter. A good toe-to-toe fight is pretty much a good sight to see.

Yeah, since Inoue is moving up to a new division, he will be the obvious challenger. But I think it's doesn't matter to him though, and maybe he will think that this is going to be his biggest fight as he is going up against the champion in super bantamweight. Fulton even as a champion is facing a tough wall to destroy. Can't wait to see them settling the score in the ring.
And same with Fulton, this will be his biggest test of his career, although he is the champion, he is now the underdog. Nod disrespect, but as we have been saying all along, this is a hard fight for him. He hasn't face a challenger like Inoue before.

If this fight would really be looking much better compared into those vs Donaire then this one would really be a good fight to be watched on.We've seen into those past fights specially against Donaire which it did last until the very end rounds which you could see that Inoue is really that having a tough time on taking him down, considering that he's already that aged compared to Fulton then to assume out that this fight isnt something that Inoue should really be confident on.Well, Inoue is never been showing that kind of overconfidence eversince and that what makes him dangerous, no matter on whose the opponent, the hunger for win and domination is something that we do obviously see.

It will be a test for Inoue if he can really strip the belt out from Fulton after choosing to move up in this new division. Let see how he will continue if he can still dominate to this new weight division.

It's a test, but not a big one, because even though Inoue is the challenger, people still believe he'll win without a problem. If Inoue beats Foltun easily, it will reveal that the current division is weak, so Foltun has to be aggressive and go toe-to-toe against the challenger.

I do think whether he is the odds favorite, it will still be a big test for him to proved himself in this new weight class. I haven't check the list, but I don't think that this current division is weak, we have the crowd favorite in Casimero and then the hard hitting Nery right and the other 2 belt champion. So I don't think it's not that deep, there are a lot of good boxers in this division. And with that, Inoue will have to dig deeper on his skills if he wanted to unify again just like what he did in bantam.

It doesn't matter if the division is strong or weak though, I mean all boxers that are being rank are strong and tough. Just a matter on how Inoue will fell comfortable in his new division and then maybe if he gauge himself, specially his big test will be against the champion himself, he will know the strength of this division. So still a very tough test for him, and even if he is the superior as far as the odd good, he should be too complacent as there are a lot of great boxers in 122 lbs that might give him problems later.

This is huge achievement to Inoue if he defeats Fulton because he can get more bigger fights after this can can challenge other more champions on other division. Inoue have potential to be a hall of famer and I can see this guy that there are more belts he can get on his career on his career. But also for sure Fulton will not make this an easy fight for Inoue so expect we can see a great head to head battle between them.

I like your comparison and maybe Fulton can bring the entertainment that fans will surely love, those who like taking the risk can put their money for Fulton and hope that he will showcase his skills and talent to avoid losing. It will be a test for Inoue if he can really strip the belt out from Fulton after choosing to move up in this new division. Let see how he will continue if he can still dominate to this new weight division. Nah, I'm going to pass on that one. It's not that I'm disrespecting Fulton nor underestimating him, it's just that it is truly hard to bet against the Naoya Inoue who is touted as the monster himself just like his alias. Fulton might be fine as a comb at 122 but I cannot stand betting against the favorite in this case, it will be a profitable wager for sure if it turns out that the champion successfully defended his belt but that is a big if for now as I know Inoue will always evolve into a much stronger monster if he will face a competitive and strong boxers. For comparison, look at Inoue before and after his 1st fight against Donaire.

This is what we hope for on seeing Inoue does have some good fight with other fights specially with Fulton whose an another champion on this division.Hope we could see some toe to toe fight on this one. If ever Inoue would win on this one and able to get the belt then getting those belts in line wont really be that a problem. He would be again undisputed for this division or would really be climbing up again on higher to purse on what he's trying to achieve into his career.?

If he will manage to take this one away from the monster, it is surely a good start to move up and challenge the current champ on his chosen division. Actually, I want to see Stephen Fulton having a rematch with a much-improved Brandon Figueroa in the 126 after this match against Naoya Inoue. I'm sure Fulton won't bother to stay at 122 anymore regardless of the result of this match as that was already his original plan and it's just timing that Inoue decided to move up. I also think Fulton is not considering having possibility of a unification match against his fellow title holder at 122 lbs, Murodjon Akhmadaliev which has a scheduled title defense against a Filipino, Marlon Tapales next month. He is surely want to moved up weight no matter what. Can't wait to see the result of this match and how it will change the current phase of the Super Bantamweight division.
