@Team Cro2, I know it might be too early to start giving suggestions for the next season of BSFL, but I just want to throw this in just incase you guys are taking notes of the possible new implementations to the league. My suggestion is that I think we should allow at least one more route for team in the lower division to get promoted directly or indirectly to the 1st Division, and this route should via the cup competition, If a player outside the promotion place in the 2nd Division or a player in the Division 3 should win the cup, I think they should be rewarded with a shot at getting promoted to the top flight.

It is really surprising to see jeremypwr in the relegation area this season after he finished both of last 2 seasons in top 3. Let's see if he and his team will be able to stay in the league by collecting sufficient number of points in the remaining 4 weeks. After consecutive losses I'm very happy that I managed to get 3 points after a tough challenge against LTU_btc.

What is more surprising to me is the fact that he has a solid lead in the LaLiga pool and in the BSFL he can't get out of the relegation zone. A month or so ago I was right behind him in the LaLiga pool but after a few lousy rounds I fell behind.

Next week we will finalize the cup and then we will continue with the league. First 2 divisions as per schedule while Div 3 will play promotion play offs. Those that qualified for playoffs, of course

Probably cup after this league round, yeah. We need to complete Div 3B in order to start the playoffs on time, and we can't put all Hhampuz's games in 1 week.
He has a double round this week and then it's the plan that in the next one he plays both the Cup and the league.

Cup semifinals and finals will be 10 questions each, so will be happening in 2 separate weeks.

Not really possible - we already spoke about it in Season 1. You have too many variables to account for - what if the player already qualifies through the lower league, what if the cup winner's about to get relegated, too many 'what ifs' to navigate through.
We do feel that Division 3 should be easier to get out of, that's the main reason for this big playoff we're having. If you're in the top half, you have a chance of promotion.

There is saying that there is no champion forever, that's the why the relegation battle is between guys that are usually fight the 1st position.

I'm also facing a though opponent as well, in mitchr4 who is currently 4th placed, and that was my spot for both season 1 and season 2, a win here should make that goal a more realistic feat to attain this season again.

Mine too ! otherwise it would be 9-10 goals as correct answers and that would be another draw for me but isntead I got 3 points this round. This might not be even possible as well if Allen didnt knock out Selby out of the race. You benefited more than me then for sure, I honestly deserve to get relegated by this type of performance man. Just doing enough to get 1 point, and even that needing last minute things to happen and unexpected shifts.

Forgot to mention I love the inclusion of Dakkar rally -- used to follow that on TV in my youth, and I think it doesn't get the love it deserves. This Sainz guy, I'm backing him to be a legend in this year's edition. He's already fallen to second place at today's stage so it doesn't look good on me, but I won't use VAR and allow this to take its course. He still has a healthy lead but more importantly, seems to be the least error-prone, so the penalties on the ones chasing should see him through.

He's 62. He had spinal injuries in his last race after a crash, has a habit of retiring races early but man his performance in this one...

We're really struggling, aren't we? I know it's still many points left to fight for but I think we need to give credit to the guys who've also come up from Div3 and Div2... their quality has shone through and made this the toughest season so far at the top. If I remember, the lead at the top has always been wide and even relegation decided pretty early (?) but the way the table looks now it's almost as if we'll only mathematically know some outcomes on 2nd last week.

What we're all disappointed with (Hhampuz, in particular) is Div3b -- we need new blood, strong blood.

It's such heart wreaking news, I saw a blogpost about it and I was like what the hell ? If lives are at stake even by minute of chances, I think such a sport or at least locations with such risks should be curb at the very least or extreme safety measures should be put in place, it's already so tough a world that we are losing lives over meaningless wars and conflicts or some new virus and shits!, Sports being one of the very few social activities that unites everyone should never be another cause of losing lives

Forgot to mention I love the inclusion of Dakkar rally -- used to follow that on TV in my youth, and I think it doesn't get the love it deserves. This Sainz guy, I'm backing him to be a legend in this year's edition. He's already fallen to second place at today's stage so it doesn't look good on me, but I won't use VAR and allow this to take its course. He still has a healthy lead but more importantly, seems to be the least error-prone, so the penalties on the ones chasing should see him through.

Wow, it's pretty interesting to see that someone didn't even heard of Dakkar rally. It's such a famous rally. Before it was called rally Paris-Dakkar but it was such a long time ago that I don't remember was it really driven from Parus to Dakkar.

As for the deaths and injuries, unfortunately that rally is famous for it. The drivers know that but they still choose to compete.

He's a legend in the rally world, In another time, not the Internet, I followed the sports specials,  (e.g. Gillette Sports LA), always enjoyed the daredevil summaries of the Paris-Dakars, and the Spanish Sainz was already legendary.

Just in case, he is the father of Sainz who races in Formula 1. (fact for fans of the thread, surely fact that any BSFL team knows.)
