That's why i try to keep emphasis on fun past time, instead of wishing i would win something. In that case i am always happily surprised to win, when i am not waiting that it should be my turn to win already. My style to gamble varies on how much free time and interest i have in my hand, and sometimes i get bored waiting for the perfect game to bet on, and bet on anything. That's when i start to lose my streak. Playing demo slots is a decent alternative, and i like how it doesn't (at least it looks like it doesn't) give me more money just because it's in demo mode, and it can take my money as well, even if it's just monopoly money.
