I see it differently from your angle, the essence of gambling to almost all people is to make money, and only a few see it as fun, except they do not want to be sincere with you. And if money is no more there, that is not gambling again, then it's a mere game which is typically done because of fun. The fact remains that "gamble" as a context could only be so if there is money or other valuable things attached to it because it's synonymous with betting. So if there is no money involved or something valuable to bet for, what are they betting? It's a mere friendly game in that sense.

Well the link leads to a 1 minute videos that tell a story of an Indian man that gambles on his wife always,  this is so hilarious as this is the first time I am hearing of such a weird gambling exhibition and to make matters worst individual lost the game and the casino came to his house to following day to collect her.

People can practically bet with anything they have, provided that they are the legitimate owner of such property, but then someone betting with his wife is very well unacceptable. I don't think that it is done anywhere because the government will be against you.
