I think Real Madrid forwards aren't good enough in this match. Just look at the stats, Leipzig could make better attacks. Leipzig could make 2 shots, Real Madrid only made 11 shots. It is quite disappointed because Real Madrid is in a better level and they are playing at home today. All fans must expect Real Madrid score some goals today. In fact, Real Madrid is just lucky to score 1 goal.

I don't think  only the forwards were bad but Leipzig on the other hands got a strong defense that was able to defend the game with much confidence and consistency than I was expecting. Although for those that knows, Leipzig has been a strong team at the Bundesliga league with a 52 percent winning of matches and 5th on the table out of the 18 teams. So one could understand from the level they are coming and we should not also forget that they had come all the way to also win the Champions league cup..

The game just ended. To be honest, I expected more from Real. Leipzig had a real chance of making it to the quarterfinals. Real's luck was that Leipzig didn't take advantage of their great chances. Real also had not convinced me in the first leg and only narrowly won with luck. With a performance like that it will be difficult to advance in the quarter-finals. Maybe Real were also unsettled by the news that their coach might soon have to go to prison.

Unfortunately as much as Leipzig wanted to win this match with all passion and energy, it didn't happen because they were meant to face Real Madrid who could have probably be their worst nightmare. Leipzig is a wonderful team in the Bundesliga yet they haven't performed as much as Girona did in the LaLiga but Girona can't still beat Madrid as they can to Barcelona. With the Way Leipzig played and stressed the Real Madrid with difficulties in goals, I will say kudos to the team big time.

Real Madrid have to score at least a goal to stay safe. Until now, I find them less threatening in the attack and Leipzig might surprise them.
For Manchester City, they are pretty much safe since the first leg, yet they scored 3 goals against poor Copenhagen.
So far we have Bayern Munich, PSG, Manchester City and most likely Real Madrid in the next round and definitely tomorrow's games will be more interesting.

Now, we have four teams qualified for the next round of the competition while we await to see other teams that will join them after they play in next week scheduled match for the champions league competition. It is indeed going to be a very tough matches as all teams will be in their best form and are all willing to make it to the next round of the competition without any doubt. Honestly given Harry Kane's age I thought that he scored way more goals than 27 in the Champions League! Bayern Munich qualified for the next round after winning the second leg yesterday. However, to become the title holder or enter the UCL final this season, this is quite speculative. Because there are still several other strong teams that are favorites. However, this does not rule out the possibility that their performance can always be good. but of course this will not be easy to do. the challenges are quite strong and complex.

City and Real Madrid are through to the QF, it was pretty routine for Pep's men, but it was far from comfortable for Real Madrid and they just narrowly progressed to the next round, i reckon that they would improve, and they have to because the games are going to get tougher from now on. Very disappointed with the result. Madrid played so poorly in this game even though it was getting draw against leipzig but i must say if madrid was really underperform. How can it face other big club in the quarter final if madrid played like this? The performance of Leipzig at Bernabeu is very good and they can proud of themselves with this performance. I disagree to say Leipzig had it because of Real Madrid poor performance as in reality they worked to have it.
