I can understand why Vinicius said that "Hala Madrid" chant with so much fervour when he went to greet the fans because many of them thought their hard work was going to go down the drain after Luka Modric missed the shot. Real Madrid understands European football more than Manchester city because they have had the taste of it on several occasions that is why they knocked City out of the champions league,  the finals may just be between Real Madrid and PSG if you ask me. Manchester city deserves praises too because they fought a good fight but their strength was not enough to take them further.

The two English teams(Arsenal and Man City) present in the UCL has been knocked out from the UCL today. Manchester city was out of the game giving Real Madrid a very big hope of getting the trophy. It pains me abit as arsenal was knocked out of the game. They have really tried a lot to get to this knockout stage. Although they should have utilize their change by trying to get a win in their own home.. Playing draw against Bayern at their home, I know it may not be easy to defeat Bayern at their home.

Rudiger was a key in preventing haaland from playing freely. This guy was amazing when he was still at Chelsea, and Rudiger is only getting better now that he's playing for Real Madrid. This is why Madrid was always interested in acquiring a defender from Chelsea.
Lunin and Rudiger were very crucial to Madrid's victory in that match consider they were able contributing a lot to the clubs. Madrid advances to the semi-finals and will face Bayern Munich. It was difficult for Arsenal to play openly at home to Bayern Munich and even though they played well in the first half, Bayern Munich also appeared very solid. Playing at home made Bayern Munich dominate the match a little and they tried to attack quite carefully. Arsenal journey in UCL end in Germany but they deserve commendation for coming this far. However, I hate to say this but it's the fact if we want to be honest with ourselves, Arsenal is having a great season with wonderful performances too but unfortunately there is nothing to show for it. One important thing lacking in the Arsenal squad is striker. The need for a clinical striker is more important than any other thing now and the management should do something about it if they truly want to be among contending teams.

Arterta also deserves some praise for bringing the team to this stage after several years of break from UCL but he is also part of the problem. Imagine Havertz playing absolutely nothing while Partey is on the bench watching. Who does that and expect a turn around when you failed to get things rightly? The earlier Arterta learn, the better for the team. UCL journey has ended, it's time to focus on the EPL and not allow this losing frustration to affect their next game.
