Besiktas look like they will have another problematic season. Because their performance against Trabzonspor was really poor and that 3-0 defeat is a really heavy one. They are actually doing really good in the Conference League but they can't play the same when it comes to the Turkish Super League.

They will need to work on this situation otherwise it wouldn't take them too long to fall behind Fenerbahce and Galatasaray in the title race. For now this duo look really powerful and they both have a potential to pull away from the others many weeks earlier than the final moments of the season.

Beşiktaş have been going through a very bad period in terms of performance since Ghezzal got injured. The season before Ghezzal got injured we were the league champions and the season Ghezzal got injured we were among the most ambitious teams for the league title. We have these problems because we are a team that depends on the performance of a few individual talents instead of being a good team...

I don't think Beşiktaş will ever be in the title race this season, Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray will be in a race without Beşiktaş. I think this is a great opportunity for them...

I can't see the same thing anymore my friend. Because Galatasaray lost 2 points against Copenhagen even home tonight. If they were able to take advantage of the goal chances they created in the first half then the result could have been much more different. They were nearly even losing the match.

In this situation it is difficult to say that Galatasaray can reach last 16. They need to play extra against Manchester United and defeat Copenhagen on their next meet.

But as long as they don't make any improvement in their defense even their chance to finish as 3rd would be at risk.

Unfortunately Beşiktaş is far from being productive when they have the ball and plays a slow set play. When the ball is in the opponent's possession the situation is much worse. They lost the last 2 games tactically regardless of the players. For 2 games now, how bad Beşiktaş was on the pitch cannot be explained by the difficulty of the match or individual player performances. Unless radical tactical changes are made, we will go into the half time season break having thrown in the towel for the 3rd year in a row. There have been some big mistakes in transfers this season. The consequences will be very bad for the whole club.

Sad but I watched Kayserispor couple of times and they are definitely not one of the worst teams of Turkish league. They are playing very enjoyable football and they have talented players. Beşiktaş relies too much on their star players/personal skills. Looks like manager couldn't get enough new transfers to establish his dream squad. I really dislike managers that cannot adapt themselves to resources (squads) they have. Beşiktaş should start trying different tactics at this point.

Picking just seven points from four league games to occupy the 10th position of the Turkish Super Lig isn't a good start to the season for a Turkish traditional club like Besiktas. They were thrashed by Trabzonspor last weekend in a game that many believed they were gonna win or get a draw from.

Gaziantep got their first win. It was also their first point this season. But I absolutely agree with your comment. The importance of these 3 points will be more evident at the end of the season. Because Istanbulspor might also be relegated to a lower league. Pendikspor, Gaziantep FK, Istanbulspor and Samsunspor will most probably struggle in the danger line this season.

The match between Çaykur Rizespor and Sivasspor will start soon in Super League. Çaykur Rizespor won their last 3 matches. They made a great start to this season. İlhan Palut is working wonders again with his magic wand. I think they are the favorites for this match.

I think there were mistakes in the referee's decisions in this match. Galatasaray could have finished the match by scoring many more goals, but the referees protected Başakşehir. There is 1 red card and 1 penalty decision that the referee did not give. If he had made the right decisions, Galatasaray could have scored 4-5 goals.
It might also be good for Muslera to rest for a while, he didn't start the year very well and he concedes goals every week, no matter who the opponent is

I was sure galatasaray would get full points in this match, and they got a narrow 2-1 win. galatasaray performed well in this match despite not winning by a huge margin.
A few of the referee's decisions may have been wrong, but we see such mistakes all too often. However  even if the referee made a mistake  , Galatasaray's players did not. They managed to earn 3 points. Basaksehir's goal in this match was to keep the defense tight and not concede goals . They played completely defensively. However  galatasaray's attack is strong. galatasara's forward's players were able to spot basaksehi's defensive weaknesses and attack . The top spot in the table is now occupied by galatasaray now. However  if Fenerbahçe can win their next match, Galatasaray will move to second place in the table.

This was a better win than some may think, we have done something that is better than just get 3 points but we did get it from one of the bigger clubs. Basaksehir is not the biggest club nor second, they are fifth biggest club by player valuations in transfermarkt, which may or may not mean anything to some people but it is obvious that they are richer than most clubs. I believe that we need to keep that in mind when you win, this is a better win than for example beating pendikspor or samsunspor. Icardi once again scored but it was a penalty, he started the season wit ha big rush, but everyone seems to be covering him %100 to every step he takes, so it became a bit harder for him to score, this makes our wingers to have more chances thanks to his passes, but I am not sure how long we can keep this up, I hope we can find an alternative to this eventually.

Nihat Kahveci says that Icardi is still continuing to score goals despite Galatasaray's not creating as many chances as in the past for him. This is really impressive indeed. Dzeko's general rating in the Turkish Super League is higher now as far as I know. But Icardi has scored more goals than him in the league so far.

Galatasaray are making use of such striker a lot but they will be expected to be consistent as for team play as much as possible. They were good against Basaksehir but Basaksehir were already one of the worst teams this season. We will see how they perform in a derby match too later on.

Antalyaspor finally got a win this week thanks to new attack minded winger. Antalyaspor has very underrated squad and I believe Nuri Şahin is actually nice manager so I am expecting Antalyaspor to continue winning. I mentioned Buksa, striker in past he is pretty talented player. Antalyaspor should solve midfielder problems and everything will be okay so soon for them.
So sad for Samsunspor tho, they completed many new transfers but still at the end of table.
