Besiktas deserved win and thanks to this victory Besiktas managed to surpass Trabzonspor in points and moved them from third place, this was surprising victory and of course Besiktas had prepared everything from the start.
And what was even more surprising was that the two goals scored were all scored by Semih Kılıçsoy who is young player from Turkey and thanks to the two goals that were able to make Besiktas win, Semih Kılıçsoy became the topic of conversation and attracted some special attention.
I agree that it is possible that Semih Kılıçsoy will be interested in big European team who might be able to make his career as greater player come true in the future, he is still 18 years old and as striker he will have long way to go to become star player.

This was the second defeat for Trabzonspor because in the previous match they also lost to Kasımpasa with score of 2 - 3.

That young kid definitely looks like someone who could be good for a European club, but not sure about the "big" part. I mean the rich ones are already getting the star players, so if he ever goes to a club that is super rich and has players, then he will stay at the bench, which would not be good for him. He needs to go to a club that would be a bit more mid table, it would allow him to play more, because if a team has amazing strikers then he may not get time but if they don't then he will play every game all game and score a lot.

This is why, it should not be money that dictates where he goes to, but it should be basically minutes he will be given that decides his future. That way he will get a lot more time.

I thought the same before the game with 2.5 goals but it turns out not to happen, interestingly. First of all Cenk Tosun is not his old self. I don't know what's going on with him, seems like he doesn't even want to play. It was like if Besiktas were 10 players without him, it would be the same. Trabzonspor was also not efficient enough, I was expecting more from them against this Besiktas. And Semih Kılıçsoy was just amazing. He is positively surprising a lot of people. Good for Besiktas that they made a long contract with him. I lost my bet but it is good for Besiktas.

Yeah I missed my bet here. Trabzonspor was ridiculously bad in this match. They actually found 2 chances they could score. Trezeguet missed %100 goal chance close to the line.
I believe its time for Cenk Tosun to retire and show up on YouTube and TV as commentator. His stamina will never come back unless he works hard. And I think he won't.
I also think Semih Kılıçsoy is pretty good finisher. He has time to improve himself he is not anything extraordinary right now except finishing and maybe positioning skills.

While Besiktas playing at home and Trabszonzpor current form odds were very good for this match because I was also expecting good win for the home, and they won this match without any problem with this victory now they are at third spot and most chances they will keep their spot because Trabzonspor is having terrible time no win for them in last five game, and they concede 12 goals which is clearly making them worst team in Super League.

Semih Kilicsoy is doing impressive job with he is just 19 years old, and can improve his performance in coming years which will help him for having better results. Cenk Tosun is injury porn player which is trying to reshape, but things are not working for him and with this form he is not able to have good future, no doubt he needs to start new career instead of wasting his energy here which is surely not good.

The league has been quite favourable for Besiktas, they've had good and bad times, victories and losses too. Though the first half was a bit shaky due to the management switch and the team just had to find a soft landing.Well they've arrived to secure a 3points with good goal margin from their last game and this only means that there's positivity ahead for them.

 There's confidence and high expectations in and from the team and truthfully, they're likely to deliver. The odds are in their favor. One would watch them up until the season ends and see how far and well they'd achieve. The coach himself will put in extra work to cover up the breaches that were experienced at the beginning journey through the season. There's still ample time to cover up, since they still got lots of upcoming matches before the season ends.

Pendikspor managed to defeat Adana Demirspor 2-1 at home.They are really on the rise with the transfers they made.I can say that they made the transfers in a spot-on way.Especially the contribution of Umut Nayir and Mame Thiam is obvious. Umut Nayir didn't play much when he was at Fenerbahçe and had difficulty scoring goals, but at Pendikspor he managed to score in almost every game.Sometimes we know that some players can't play in big teams, but I feel sorry for Umut Nayir.The importance of Turkish players in big teams has become more important now because these players need to play if success is desired.

Umut Nayir and Mame Thiam have become a very good attacking duo. Also, Halil Akbunar is contributing very well to Pendikspor this season with his experience. They really started the second half of the season well. I think they deserve to stay in the league this season. They will play Karagümrükspor next week. I think they can beat Karagümrükspor and after a few more wins they can settle in the middle of the league. They have this potential.

He could be the new leader in central defenders but on loan contract with a short time-frame have some disadvantages. Beşiktaş needed a defender, they have to play with Bakhtiyor and Necip, both are not original CD's. After Bailey gone, Talha is not ready, Colley and Amartey can't play always, so there is a big need of a trusted central defender here. It's a good addition to the squad, a solution for short term. I don't know if he stays here next year, if he plays well we may see him. Otherwise Beşiktaş won't lose much when he's gone. That transfer makes sense in a lot of ways.

I think they would still make use of a left-back transfer also. There are still 3 more days to go for the end of the window. If this transfer doesn't happen then we would probably see Berkan or Barış Alper being used there.

Beşiktaş urgently needed a solution for short term. This was the worst Beşiktaş in a lot of people's memory. Bakhtiyor and Necip was not enought at all. There was a big need firstly in defense, then in other positions too. But we can say this year is already lost and no need to make a bad transfer. The thing is, new president, Hasan Arat literally said before the election that all their plans and transfers are ready to make in an instant. There are videos of him saying these. But they only made one transfer now. I don't think there is a need for a rushed and eventually wrong transfer. I would be ok if Beşiktaş don't make any transfers yet but great transfers later. But he promised it for now and it seems bad for the new president. That is the problem.

I think these transfers are insufficient right now, I don't know much about the new transfers, to be honest, but I would expect better transfers for a team that competes both in Europe and in the league.

Besiktas is one team in the Turkish League that are to an extent doing well for themselves. Even though they don't get to have a spot in the UCL, they still try their best to earn a spot in the UEL  and while at that segment of the European tournament, they do their best to gain good results. They now have a new president who's got the ability to make the team better.

 The funds will be generated and dispersed accordingly for the team. Besiktas being one of the top teams in the league still has the tendency of rising to a better stance. The arrival of the new president is surely going to make a positive turn around in the team and their game play will be improved too. We hope to see the new Besiktas a few days and weeks from now and see the difference they'd make.

I think that we couldn't benefit from the winter transfer window much until now. Signing only Aurier and Carlos Vinicius? This isn't good enough.

Carlos Vinicius has been signed just to fill Bakambu's place. I can consider Aurier transfer as okay after Boey left. But I think that a young player transfer to right back position would have been better. We have signed a 6-month deal with Aurier though so maybe we would look for a young and talented right back just as Boey in the summer.

We immediately need to find a player for left back too surely. We shouldn't just manage with players who can play there temporarily.    We are aiming big and our moves should be according to it.

Besiktas as we all know is one of the traditional Turkish clubs who was sometime in the past regarded as the strongest team in the Turkish Super Lig but in recent seasons have not been able to match the competition that's been coming from Fenerbahce and Galatasaray.
However, they've been able to make good transfer moves as well as closing good deals especially in the just concluded winter transfer window and just like many, I'm expecting them to start winning games consistently as the season goes by. We scored 50 goals and conceded 14 in the league this season. Fenerbahçe scored 63 goals and conceded 18. We are second because of the goal difference. We have to keep winning our games to get the points advantage. We have to wait for Fenerbahce to drop points. On the other hand, Başakşehir are good this season. But not as good as they were in previous seasons. I think we will win this match using the advantage of being the home team.
